Beginning of week 10(veg): Wow the progress this week. Biggie smalls(Short one) really took off. I added my flowering LED light for these girls and they are loving it! I moved the girls into the flower tent for now. The ventilation inside my closet is horrible and I think I’m seeing white mildew spots on some leaves =( Now that they’ve been inside the grow tent for about 4 days I don’t see any signs of the white spots, which is a relief. I defoliated biggie smalls yesterday, which made it so I could really see the branch structure underneath there. I’m really happy with what I see, some really good looking branches. They no longer need the ties, they seem to be growing how I want them to, and when they don’t I give them a little bend to match the canopy height. I’m going on vacation in a month so I set purchased a drip system from amazon. After spending about 20 minute setting it up, and then painstakingly driving the stakes into the roots of my plants, I realized the product didn’t actually work. I’ve purchased another pump and some hosing, we’ll give this another go when it arrives. I’ll be feeding them again tomorrow. One more week of veg for Biggie Smalls and then she’s going for 2 days of darkness and flower. Really excited for that. Hopefully she continues the strong growth over the next week.

Day 36 (Bettis). Just starting to flower. Doing some minor defoliation and supercropping. Very satisfied with her progress. Day 41. Continuing with minor defoliation and supercropping.

The Plant is getting very bushy and I am thinking of dedefoliating the plant but I am unsure because of it being an Autoflower in the early stages.

Fed once this week with a weak feed including top max. I use kombucha vinegar as pH down. Water from my tap is ph6.8-7.0 and 38-42ppm so I might start using calmag supliment as the ppm at my old house used to come out of the tap at ph7. 2 and 200-220ppm. I had 2 plants that didn't like the light at 30000 lux and started bleaching so I took them out. I've defoliated today day 35 as humidity was getting over 80% and also to let light to the lower bud sights. Pre flower pistils showed on some plants around day 33 (some still have none) so I'll consider this the end of veg start of flower. The kalimist indica pheno is still not showing pre flower pistils but is always hard to force flowering when it's not mature for some reason. It's always 7-14 days behind everything else 🤔

The solo cup Afghani x Mac1 from DNA Junkies is coming to an end. These sticky buds are starting to fade and turning a blueish purple. The smell is strong. Very fruit forward with petrol. Still feeding off the last top dressing.

This week i added a boost of HomeMade CO2, i never measured the results of this invention so i can't give CO2 measurements. This method is widely used in home aquariums and there is where it comes from. For those interested i'm going to write here more detailed instructions. The 4 liters i've made will last for about 2 weeks. ---NEEDINGS--- - 250 ml Bottle - 6~10 l Bottle - 400 g Sugar / l water - 1 Envelope of organic baker's yeast / l water (CHEMICAL WILL NOT WORK) - 3 mid plastic tubes 40~50 cm - 1 short plastic tube 5~6 cm - 4 tube adapters - Hot glue to seal adapters The process of creating CO2 is simple, mix water, organic yeast and sugar in a bottle, and the sugar will free CO2 in the process of fermenting to alcohol due to the yeast. 1. Make a hole in the center of the big bottle cap, insert an adapter and secure it with hot glue 2. Make 3 holes in the small bottle cap and glue the other 3 adapters 3. Link both caps with one of the mid tubes and insert the other tubes on free adapters 4. Insert a short tube in the bottom of the small cap in the adapter that came from the big cap 5. After so much tender loving care, I came home today to find how two puppies kept themselves busy while I was attending my daughter's graduation!! Evidently, Thelma and Louise had a blast digging a hole and uprooting my baby Strawberry Banana plant. But do not fret, for Susquihanna doesn't like to lose. So I put my Strawberry Banana back in place, filled in the hole and put another row of fencing up to protect my Strawberry Banana Plant. I am a Newbie, but from what I understand, Sometimes growers/contests are interested in seeing the good, the bad and the ugly. So, today is an ugly day with no new growth or excitement to report. I am hoping next week I will have a plant to report on. For now, enjoy my videos of Thelma and Louise playing; the double fencing that I put up; and pray for my dear little Strawberry Banana Plant--that she may come back from her listless life and THRIVE.
