Hey guys! New week, here we are! As always, every Sunday is cleaning day. Took everything again from the tent, washed the saucers. Was also time to cut down some leaves as it was starting to look very bushy and hard for the light to get through it. During that time, came across with some bugs under the foliage, which isn't a great sign for sure. Not to mention the fruit flies that moved in and are making my life a little chaos. This was the strain most attacked by the flies, and those bugs that live under the leaves. Reducing now the RH a bit, and watering now on every 72h instead of 48h to keep the grow as dry as possible. Increasing the ventilator speed was another attempt, it so much air circulating should be hard for them to make a living inside. Just put now more of those fly traps and will add a couple glasses of cider vinegar here and there, as it attracts most of the flying things with success. Note that some plants are yellowing and that's never a good sign. Though for few weeks it was Nitrogen deficiency, but after increasing it and the CalMag values, the problem persists, so I'm inclined for something bug related. Besides that, temps are still very stable, RH was changed, now to 40% tops, and the light went a little lower to get it closer to the plants - always with the light burn effect in mind. 40cm is the line between the tops and the lamp. Flowering is looking good, buds are forming well and seems that's gonna be a good ending if I can keep the bugs under control. They're showing the first signs of flowering, so we decided to switch already the nutrients in the last feeding of the week. That's all folks, have a great week

This cultivar impressed me right out of the gate.. this one is going to be a beast.. I’ll have to replace the garden staples for bamboo steaks soon!

The CBD Red Pure also showed a severe lack of magnesium and potassium. I therefore increased the Bloom fertilizer to 8mg/l once. I use organic fertilizer here and this strain seems to show a high demand for nutrients. However, we are in the last few weeks and I am sure that I will get them through until then. Again, learned a lot from this grow but I think I will try a new fertilizer after this grow as I am reaching my limits with the organic fertilizer scheme here.

Week 12, Week 12 was an interesting one. This is my first time having a successful plant so I began to become worried once I noticed the leaves turned yellow. I did a flush last week in hopes that I could squeeze two weeks of Kool Bloom nutrient feeding before I flush for the last time. I am nowhere near a master grower so I am kinda experimenting with the harvest time with this plant. I don't want airy popcorn buds so I thought it would be best to have the plants flowers develop as much as possible. As a result, I am going to harvest around 3/10 making it 13 weeks. I am hoping that adding the finishing nutrients will allow for the buds along the stem to become as dense as the buds at the top. Harvest time is almost coming! :) I know what some may be thinking, those flowers look done, and they do haha but I am experimenting to see if a longer harvest time means denser buds (which is what I'm hoping for) lol Let me know if you have any comments, questions, concerns. Buds are glistening now with an incredibly strong smell inside the tent. My rhino carbon filter manages to sort that thought :). 1 nanner developed on 1 bud site but as I'm so close to harvest, I'm not worried. Plants have had their final nute feed and next will be plain water for a few days Will be starting 4 x new autoflower grow next week

Good week for this lovely lady. Her color has improved immensely and she's almost caught up in size to the Blueberry. Since they're settled in I took away the support hoops and will pack up the row cover. Yet again I think it did a fabulous job reducing stress from transplanting. I also added in some Calendula plants yesterday afternoon as they make good companions. It's gonna be a straight up partay in this garden bed😜 Update 6/26- I totally forgot to add that on Monday the garden got a spraying of horn manure. Horn manure is a biodynamic preparation of cow manure that's been fermented in a buried horn. This results in a material that's teeming with beneficial flora and fauna for the soil. Ideally it would be sprayed prior to planting in the spring as it encourages healthy root growth. I purchased the pre-potenized so that I only had to spend 20 mins stirring rather than an entire hour. That would have been brutal😵 I sprayed it at night when the earth is breathing in and used a spruce bough to sprinkle it over the plants in the garden. The extra icing on the cake was that there was a rain the day before, and another the day after I sprayed so it was well watered in.

OOOOOH at this time i love all of you, growmie 😍 200gr of pure happiness, never before! 🙌 Buds are compact like rock, shine like diamond...it's unbelivable, looks perfect! The buds are forming! Changed to a nicer light recently, light is great, although my mars hydro 600w did me justice. This new one I got of amazon for under $100 is 1000 watt led and crushing it. It has increased temps significantly which is a bit tough for me to control given my tent is in a closet. Also it is starting to getting less humid outside, so I reduced airflow in the tent to keep the humidity at 50. I have a small humidifier coming soon (oddly a Corporate work gift lol).
