Day 51 - The switch to RO water has made the world of difference in DWC. Definitely don't over look water quality if you grow in any type of hydroponic set up. But the girls seem to be taking off, they smell so gassy and sweet, real strong aromas. Hard dense nugs which i know will continue to fatten up (the RO water change has allowed me to run a lower EC of around 0.8 and the pH has been super stable at around 5.7 i like a rise and dont mind it going up a little bit its been fine since using RO) The buds have got loads of colours coming through and I'm excited to see how the end result turns out. I think this will go 9 weeks (63 Days if im not mistaken) if needed ill let her go longer but we shall see. Day 55 - Girls are getting on well, slowly tapering the nutrients down letting the girls drink and eat. EC is at about 0.8. Won't go higher than that until harvest now, most likely. Leafs are turning a purple/black colour from the colder night temps. Buds are gettibg harder and thicker by the day. Will be feeding right up until a few days before harvest. Then a flush for 3-5 days with just RO water. Still about 7-10 days left.. maybe even 14 depending on what the trichomes are telling me. Stay tuned for the next one. Flavours

I came to the end of a period that lasted about 4 months. I got really bored on last weeks. It took 128 days , Finally, I kept it in the dark for 3 days. I really like this genetics, easy to grow and durable .It is also very successful in terms of smell and aroma. it would be much better if my pot size was a little bigger , lower buds could fat more but still pretty nice buds . Let's see how the numbers will be

Doing amazingly! Actually started flush literally today! So stay tuned to see how chunky these flowers are going to get! They smell delicious! Candy shop in my tent with all these flavours!

12/04 - Gonna do a flush. I think I let the plants sit in the runoff too long after watering last time. Have a little yellowing on some of the leaves. 12/05 - Decided not to flush. I pH the soil at 5.8. Gonna raise it a bit and I cut out the veg nutes and cut the flowering nutes in half. Used some Germ Genie which is essentially kelp to see if the issue was just nute burn or potassium. pH the water to 6.8. 12/06 - Looking healthy today. Fan Leaves are really stretching for the light. 12/07 - Plants are starting to bud up and fill in those pistils. 12/08 - Watered the girls with just Bloom. 12/09 - Out of Town 12/10 -Looking Frosty!

After I repotted the plants, they grew really well and healthily for 12 days. Now they are showing iron deficiency again... I already had the problem before repotting. The pH value of the earth has fallen again to 4.8 to 5.7. This time I used biodegradable braids to germinate. I believe that this is the reason for the PH fluctuations in the soil. Every time I water I measure the PH and adjust it to 6 - 6.5. Nevertheless, the PH value drops back to 4 to 5. I'm trying to correct the problem. I also work with neemoil because I can't get rid of the trips

Week six of flower I went in to the tent today an lots of new purple on the buds, couldn't believe how nice they look💚🤩, man does she look stunning, I'm in awe with these beautiful flowers👌🏻

Bulking up real fast and gettin caked. Smells strong

This is the start of my second grow and also second Northern Light Auto from RQS, the goal is to hit #1 in g/plant for that Strain. I didn't take as many notes as in the last grow but there are timelapses, some photos and metrics from probes. Started with 3 Seeds and then picked the 2 strongest. The System is a NFT System but due to the size of the tube and root growths the solution with submerge the roots ~70% later on. To combat that I use 3 small 1.5w air pumps, these are super silent, if one dies I got 2 more running and to be honest air pumps used in DWC systems are often oversized and rely on Broscience. In my Salad/Herb NFT Systems I don't use any air pumps and the plants are just fine and grow great. This time I added sprinklers to humidify the air inside the tube, slightly moisturize the Rockwool and speed up root growths. Spoiler: Was a great success :) The ratios for the fertilizers are not accurate in the following weeks, I have a 120l Reservoir that is filled 90-110l I top it up once or twice a week to sustain PH and EC, if you want to copy it just go by the EC and use the B (Calcinit) and A (Kristalon Blue/Orange) 50/50. I mix the solution myself with dry salts that I bought in bulk 25kg bags. 4l Water(distilled/RO preferably, tap water is OK) + 1kg salts mixes just fine, keep the solution dark and cool and it will stay stable for months. Dry salts don't expire if kept cool and dry so only mix what you need and keep the rest stored as dry salts. 40ml A + 40ml B is about 2EC and 6PH with my tap water, very similar to Canna, Plagron etc. isn't it? just with the twist that I pay ~20% of the known brands. P2O5, K2O, MgO etc. are always the same as long as they are produced by a good manufacturer, Yara is a world leader in fertilizer production just not to be found in you general hydroponics or hardware store. Any other known manufacturer is fine as well, pick the cheapest. Check Hoocho on Youtube to see a guide on how to mix your own solutions, it ain't that difficult trust me. From week 5 onwards I also use Oxygen granulate (KMPS, CAS-70693-62-8, 2KHSO₅ * KHSO₄ * K₂SO₄) if you want to use this check pool supply stores and buy the cheapest. Keep this one dry, cool and dark. I used a old pill bottle to keep some ready to go because it came in a 1kg container and I only need 2-4g per serving + the bottle has a silica pack in the cap. From week 6 onwards I used Haifa Grow Clean for Details check week 6, I use this one as dry salts and add it directly to the tank, it does not interact in a bad way with the solution. For meassurements I use a generic 8in1 Meter "PH-W218" branded by many companies, as usual, check stores and buy the cheapest. (Check week 1 for an image of it) I got mine from Aliexpress for ~70€ it uses the Tuya app so you can always check your metrics and export them aswell. The PH and EC probe are accurate and are giving me stable results for almost 1 year now, I re calibrate the PH probe once in a while and it is tops 0.15 off after a month, always double check your results with PH drops/paper. Bluelab is... A LOT more expensive for less value. For the timelapses I use 2 Tappo C210 2k Cameras, these have the ability to make the stream available trough RTSP so that you can access it trough a link in a browser and that way I snap a Screenshot with a raspberry pi :) after that I just render it with blender to a timelapse. So this week after I gave it under nutrients I apparently gave it too much nitrogen while having a potassium deficiency. Shiney dark leaves, So i fixed that, but some didn't bounce back, and I tried nitrogen. I think they are doing pretty good considering everything I've put them through SO FAR. lol. Nutrients are NPK Raw's total lineup, follow their instructions at first, Fastbuds adjustments as of this week.

Back to the 1000 wt as temps here are modest for July atm. Still 1 plant not flowering like the other 2. I will be patient as it’s overall structure looks amazing. Slowly easing into the process not as much anxiety about every little thing. Changed my light out for my lower power 600 wt led instead of the 1000wt TMLAPY. Maybe not the right move i really don't know what to do b/c i have tip burn and my tent gets a bit hot in the low 80s when its in the 90s here in Illinois. I have an makeshift cooler w fan and some fans and my exhaust fan system which im pretty sure is under powered and overall and bad beginner purchase. I will upgrade as soon as i can financially afford to. Also had flooding issues in basement which is always an adventure, i eventually need a better way to get my grow tent up off the ground b/c water does get in there sometimes. Doing everything in my power to avoid mold and have fans and filters and cleaning, but again this may have been a beginner mistake and i may have to find a new home for the tent for the next time. Also I definitely had been under watering the girls and came close to one of them dying and have to remove some yellow leaves at bottom, they all look stable now. 1 out of 3 plants has a darker color and looks fuller and healthier w less tip burn but it is shorter only has a couple of hairs where the other 2 are going full on into flowering with so many hairs and growing much taller. Possibly stunted the growth... Anyway the word of the day for this week is TIP BURN. I will submit a question to follow. i recently uploaded a video that should show all 3 plants w the tip burn.

Had my controller shut my lights down, luckily I caught it but lost around 9 hours light. I’ve had to leave my grow a few times for medical reasons but I will say this is one stinky strain! And it’s very frosty! Being my 1st ever hydro run I took it very easy so I will run this strain again when my skills are up to par because this has some serious potential!

Looks drippy so I water with ph on 6.5 I start lst later on today overall looking good I water about 200 to 400 ml at a time.
