They are starting to fatten up really nice and the flush will start today July 2nd 2023 on to my next adventure with fastbuds northern lights and jack see the progresss. So today is July fifth they are starting to really gain their weight I started watering them with 55-59 degree water to help it feel like it’s the end of the season. Will be chopping on the 7th! The trichomes in them all is unbelievable can’t wait to taste them will be curing in the cannatrol for the first time see how much of a difference that makes.

well this little girl has just started pre flower so she should be in full flower by this time next week. Hopefully she gets some fast growth before the flowering begins.

I just added weeks 5 and 6 into one week because I didn't really have time to post last week. There seems to be a problem with my plants that I can't quite figure out. The only commonality that I changed with both plants since the last grow is the microbe Inoculant that I bought from NPK. The Black Afghan that I harvested back in November didn't have these microbes added to the soil and it grew into a monster. I am beginning to wonder if these microbes are stealing food from my plant. Even though these microbes are sold as "flowering" microbes. I'm beginning to think they are starving my plants. Also, I am technically 7 weeks from the flip to 12/12. So I may just be at the end of the flower period for these plants. I checked the Tricomes and they are mostly cloudy with about 5-10% amber. Normally at this point I would be cutting out the nutrients and letting her consume her leaves. However, she has already started to so that and now I don't know what to do. I just don't know. So... lesson learned. Stick to the basic nutes and stop trying to make this job harder than it needs to be. KISS

Day 1 of week 7 in flower. Yesterday I opened the tent and for the first time thought to myself " Wow that's a big plant!". My grow tent is 1 meter by 1 meter and the plant is touching all sides. I am now wishing I had more wattage of lights. Day time Temps are 72 and humidity is around 35. My current LED wattage is 277 from the wall, let's see what it can produce. Time until harvest is 4 ish weeks and dropping. Judging by the speed at which the pistils are changing colors I am doubtful it's going to take 3.5 weeks to ripen. I am in no hurry, quality is my biggest concern.

Not much happened this week except trichomes came out to be about 10% clear 75% cloudy 15% amber.

Huge signs of progress this week! The smell has come in strong as well as the nice fat crystal flowers starting to plump up, Definitely a tall growing strain but all signs are pointing towards the yield being of a good quality! Have ordered a USB loupe that will be arriving tomorrow as the current is too hard for photos!

D76 - 14 DECEMBER Well, unfortunately once again I had mold problems. Had to chop her early so I´ll trim and hang her to dry today. D90 - 28 DECEMBER Exactly 2 weeks later and the buds are all nice and dry, everything put to cure now with Boveda 58% humidity control packs. The medium-tiny and very tiny buds weighed at 15.1 grams and the medium to big sized nugs weighed at 33.2 totalizing at 48.3 grams. I´m happy with the result, I thought it would be worse. Let´s see how she goes into curing now! 29 JANUARY Finally, after a proper 30 days cure I´ll be doing the strain review. Thank you so much for taking some time to check my diary out. The ladies are doing well. Cant complain really but the hard work is yet to come. The different strains are getting bushy and the Blue Gelato #2 has the biggest canopy thus far. They all have been transplanted into 3gall pots. No strong smell even from stem rubbing but the orange Sherbet has a distinctive smell that's so citrusy. feeding has gone well this week. I may run into a pending issue when i bring out the 4x4 tent as I have been using a 2x2 for most of the veg period.Lets see what challenges week 8 brings to this run. The Vanilla Kush is taking training so well. So short and stumpy.

Hello growers, for the fact that I just started growing, I'm happy with how my growth looks, I can't compare to you professionals, but I'm learning, I also bought books about growing... in conclusion, I'll just add that those plants are fascinating, each one is different and has its own beautiful in a way...
