It is day 27 and Most plants starting to flower so they are getting a mix of grow nutes and bloom nutes All looking really healthy and seem to be thriving and certainly drinking a lot more . Some side branches have been strategically trained to try and make most of space and improve yield Day 28 given water will continue with grow and bloom nutes as still getting vertical growth which I am glad to see 👌

Ein gesundes neues Jahr allen! Bis auf den Jahreswechsel, ist nicht viel passiert. Die Damen arbeiten fleißig an der Fülle. Beim ersten Trichom Check, zeigt sich das, was mir die Damen auch langsam signalisieren. Der Herbst kommt und in ca 2 Wochen, dürften die Trichome genau den gewünschten Grad haben. Für mich, relativ viele Bernstein farbend. Wobei die LCC etwas mehr als die BPP haben wird. Die PH sollte genau ihren Höhepunkt haben. Wenig klar, der Rest milchig. Nährstoffe werden nun auch nicht mehr geben. Schauen wir Mal wie es weiter geht. 🏻

I think she's bulked up a bit this week. Just waiting on trichomes, this week they have just started to go milky.

Primera semana - Germinación en Placas de Petri sobre un invernadero calefactado, utilizando papel de cocina y pulverizando agua. Entre 24h y 48h después germina el 50% de las semillas y a las 72h el 90%. Mientras espero a que germinen, preparo el sustrato; · Coco-Kaya by BioBizz and Julian Marley 75-25. В результате я уже вижу, что часть будущего урожая оказалась под сеткой, да и сами растишки планировалсь выше где-то на 5-10см.(можно было позже на неделю-две переключить на цветение, и раньше перестать заправлять ветки под сетку, на будущее). Соответственно боковой досвет получился высоковато для таких компактных растений. Его можно легко поднять, а вот опускать под сетку я даже и не планировал - нужно разбирать всю конструкцию, оставлю как есть в этот раз. "Красная" растишка зацвела на пару дней раньше, потому и тормознула раньше "желтой", и в результате теперь уже заметно ниже. 3 of the 4 plants didn't do much stretching at all. I'm excited to compare the harvest between all of them too see which yields more. The one plant that did stretch seems like it will take a little bit longer than the others to be ready, but I am not sure. Had I known they wouldn't have stretched much I would have considered some light defoliation to increase light pen but this will be a nice experiment. As of 11/23 the plants have stopped doing any vertical growing and I can tell the buds are starting to fatten up a bit and getting frosty. I am leaving the tent open now 24/7 to help control the humidity, trade-off is I can smell the plants from my office two stories up. The sent is very fresh and fruity so it's not so bad. We will see how my family feels when they visit for Thanksgiving 😆

It’s officially week 4 of flower. It’s day 36 since I flipped to 12/12 and day 25 since we began seeing flowers

Sexta semana de vegetación y las plantas crecen a buen ritmo, la California Orange se recupero de la poda y se ve mas vigorosa y firme, ambas plantas están comiendo mas y consumiendo mas agua. Ésta semana ambas plantas alcanzaron la malla.

Week 6 of flowering 10/23/24 Changed nutrients to fit week 6 Buds are getting even bigger and thicker. Defoliated a little. Noticed a PH of 4.8 in runoff, same as the late stage of flower in my previous grow. After lowering feed EC, CalMag on max strength, flushing with 0.8ec nutes for 3 days in a row, nothing changed and PH stayed the same. Read in a forum thread about constant low PH in the rootzone when growing in coco. Got great info about CEC, water, nutrients and little chemistry from a detailed explanation. (https://www.icmag.com/threads/recurring-problem-with-low-ph-in-coco.338385/page-2#post-10843765) Flushed plants with tap water + calmag, PH 6.5. Used 120L total for 4 plants in 2 days. 1st day: flushed after lights on, did not water until 2 hours before lights off and flushed again. Runoff PH went up a little, but not to the correct range. 2nd day: flushed after lights on and checked runoff EC + PH, of each plant. Fortunately, PH got corrected to 5.8, and I returned to automatic watering 4 times a day (with 10%-20% runoff). Thoughts: In the last grow, I thought I had a problem because of salts buildup in the media with constantly low PH in late flower. I didn't fully correct the problem till chop day. Same problem here in the same stage of flower without the salt buildup. After reading every forum I could find about the problem, I understood that my bloom nutes were the main problem because of their chemical composition. The coco ability to exchange ions lead to the low PH in the rootzone. It got worse quickly because I did not use any tap water with the feedings, so the PH could swing easily and drastically without resistance. After I looked online for the T.A. feeding chart, I saw they used TriPart Grow till week 7 of flower, the Nitrogen type they are using will up the PH. CocoForCannabis chart that I'm using, has not enough nitrogen to combat the bloom nutes PH down effect in flower. It gets even worse with RO water because there are no minerals that can resist PH down. Now I'm using 30% tap water with rest RO water, T.A. TriPart feeding chart with calmag and silica. Hopefully I have corrected the problem for the rest of the grow. It wasn't easy, because there were lots of variables that worsened the problem quickly. Now I'm checking runoff PH and EC daily. Update on next week :)

1/2/23 - The lady is getting fairly close to harvest so I've added the dry KoolBloom to her mix... not real sure if you're supposed to use it WITH the liquid but since the liquid is already in the bucket and since it's really hard to get a potassium or phosphorus toxicity, yeah... why not! She'll be coming down in a week or two.... I'm kind of excited! OH! And btw, this lady's leaves just naturally curl down - nothing I did changed that, EVER... and she certainly didn't have a nitrogen toxicity and her pH was always pretty spot on... it's just the way she grows... she's, well, DIFFERENT! LOL! 01/03 - Really bulking up all over... trichs are getting pretty milky so it shouldn't be long now! 01-06 - Reduced her EC to 0.6 for the next couple of days. Going to harvest on Sunday, I think! 01/04 - She's really happy... REALLY happy! And I'm so happy with her!! 01/05 - I've pretty much decided she's going to get the chop this weekend. Since her CBD:THC is 30:1, I'm not going to get amber trichs on her so am relying on other means to measure her readiness for harvest... her fade is continuing, her pistils are becoming mostly brown, her buds are pretty fat and dense, her EC is rising and pH really falling madly so she's telling me she's got way too much food at present (and I haven't increased that at all) ... which means she's probably leeching nutes into the water ... anyway, this weekend will be her last ... I'll change out the bucket today and just put her on FloraKleen for a couple of days... Trim jail, here I come! :-D Happily!! 01/07 - tomorrow is the day...

This girl is a beast. She's nice and wide and has really enjoyed being trained. She has tons of potential tops. Going to start nutrients again and aim to flip her to flower in a weeks time.
