Week 9 From Seed Sour Diesel — 12/12 From Seed (≈ Week 4 Flower) First, a quick recap for anyone joining the journey now. This Sour Diesel had a rougher start compared to the rest of the room. Earlier in the run she experienced stress that slowed her development, which is why she remains smaller than the other plants in the room. That said, plants have an incredible ability to recover when given the right environment and a little patience. And despite her size, she is now building beautiful flower structure and starting to frost up nicely. Sometimes the smaller plants still carry the biggest character. ⸻ Current Room Conditions The room is currently running slightly on the warm and humid side, but this is intentional and carefully controlled. Environment • Canopy temperature: ~28°C (gradually tapering toward ~26°C) • Relative humidity: ~70% (slowly being reduced toward ~60%) • CO₂: 1000+ ppm through passive enrichment • PPFD across canopy: 800 → 1300 µmol This might look risky on paper, but the room has very strong airflow and constant air exchange, including inner-canopy movement. Good airflow changes everything. Without proper air movement these numbers would be dangerous, but with healthy circulation and CO₂ availability, the plants are able to metabolize efficiently. ⸻ Nutrient Program (Current Week) Feed EC: ~2.4 Soil EC: ~0.9 Current weekly top feed includes: • CalMag Pro • Terra Bloom (base nutrient) • Power Buds • Green Sensation • Pure Zym • Sugar Royal • Vita Race (foliar where applicable) ⸻ Why Power Buds and Green Sensation Now At this stage the plant has fully entered generative growth. The stretch phase is finishing and the plant is shifting energy toward flower development and resin production. Power Buds Power Buds helps signal the plant to transition more strongly into flower formation. At this stage we want the plant focusing on bud site development and structure, and this additive helps push that direction. Green Sensation Green Sensation comes in as a flower booster, supporting: • bud weight • terpene production • resin development • potassium and phosphorus availability during peak demand Around week 4 of flower, plants start increasing nutrient demand for flower building, which is why this product becomes relevant now. ⸻ Why Power Roots Was Removed Early in the run the focus is on root system establishment. Power Roots is excellent during: • seedling stage • early vegetative growth • transplant stress But once the root system is already developed and the plant has entered full flowering mode, the focus shifts from root expansion to flower production. At this point it becomes more beneficial to direct the feeding program toward generative growth rather than root stimulation. ⸻ A Quick Note on Leaf VPD Leaf VPD is always something to keep in mind, but we won’t go too deep here since we’ve covered it in previous reports. What matters most is that: • temperature • humidity • airflow • light intensity are all working together. Even though humidity is currently around 70%, the strong airflow and active transpiration keep the plants functioning properly. The leaves are still able to transpire and regulate themselves efficiently. ⸻ Plant Development Despite the smaller plant size, the flower formation is looking excellent. Bud sites are stacking well and trichome production is already beginning to show. She is starting to frost up nicely, almost like a light snowfall on the sugar leaves. The structure is surprisingly elegant for a plant that had a slower start. Sometimes the plants that struggle early end up showing the most personality later in flower. ⸻ What to Expect Next Week Over the coming week we should begin to see: • increased bud stacking • calyx swelling beginning • more visible trichome development • stronger aroma production The plant should now start focusing more energy on resin production and flower density. If conditions remain stable, the next weeks will likely show the true character of this Sour Diesel. ⸻ Final Words To everyone following this journey: Thank you. So finally this week the plan was looking strong enough to be trained, initially I've lift the plant from his seedling bed, i moved her more on the side of the tent to have more space to bend her and give more open space to the lowest branch, after just 12 hours the plant was already fighting the training pointing the top cola to the closest source of light

These are great smellin buds very fruity and very strong. The small one is the smallest out of the whole crop. I'm guessing another week before flush, started bring in ppms down today and lowered my base.

10/10 2 PM Must be another week messed up. I added more flowers deleted last week and planted four more seeds today four on the third and four on the 10th.

Week started off well. Day 50 and no major hiccups. Lets get to that finish line soon! Day 51 - Everyone is healthy and great. CDLC is really putting on the weight now. All five of them are stellar. MB #1 stopped stretching and her nugs are starting to swell. She is one fast lady. The other Miracle Berry Remix looks like it will stretch some more and so does the Mango Smile. Strawberry and CDLC have a ways to go but they are blowing up. I am feeding everyone every day at least 2 liters of the above mixture. Depending on coloration (light green to dark green) I will change the nitrogen content. These things are eating phosphorous up like candy. I have experienced NO nutrition burn. All of my issues thus far have been underfeeding due to PH issues. I have a theory that I want to feed them as much as possible regardless of feed schedule and fear of nutrition burn. Ensuring a healthy root system with proper PH and monitoring Potassium in your watering should give the best results. I am finding that the only nutrient that cause the physical representation of nutrition burn (burned tips) is too much Potassium. I think I stated it before but Nitrogen toxicity doesn't burn tips and Phosphorous is really difficult to overdose your plant with. Pinpointing this is extremely important I feel. Are there any other growers who find this to be true? Day 53 - Everyone is great. Notable things from today...Mango Smile is sad cuz I gave her a hair cut and Strawberry Nuggets revealed a massive nitrogen deficiency after I gave her a hair cut. I switched to bloom nutrients too early on her. Upped her nitrogen PPM for today's feeding and hoping I didn't stunt her too badly. Lot's of node sites though. Day 54 - Mango Smile was just being a diva. Today her entire canopy was an inch higher...and she shows no signs of swelling yet. She's gonna end up going over 90 days for sure. My Maxigrow got moisture in it...so it went bad. I went out and bought some NPK Raw Grow for my Strawberry Nuggets. She is so hungry I feel bad. She is the only one I fed today. Everyone else was fine. Pistils on MB#1 are turning orange/brown. She might be ready at day 70. MB#2 will be right behind her. They are quite fast for being so big. CDLC is looking great. Didn't take a photo today but she is getting frosty and her flower stretch is on. Humidity is a little high in tent since I added additional pots with soil in them. I turned up my light to around 80% and the humidity tanked. Temperature went up to about 81F. I think we can manage that. I'm not seeing any signs of heat stress or fox tailing. My lights are powered by two HLG-600H drivers. Theoretically, I have 1200 Watts in the tent. Just to clarify since the journal won't let me specify my wattage for the QB96s. They can go up to 250 Watts each with active cooling. Day 55 - Moved everyone in the tent around to increase airflow. Trying to keep everyone off the walls but Miracle Berry Remix 1 is taking over the tent. Probably going to have to supercrop soon. Miracle Berry 1 smells deeply of berries. No gas or funk smell. Smells like a blue raspberry slurpee.

**Grow Report by Zuppler - Week 1 Flowering Phase** Ayo, what’s good fam? Zuppler back in this b**** with the week 1 flowering update, straight outta the capital. We just flipped the switch to that 12/12, and these girls already know what time it is – they starting to stretch out like they tryna reach for the stars. We runnin’ that Ape Formula from Advanced Nutrients, got the whole squad dialed in on some next-level s***. Feeding them queens like they royalty, nah mean? We keepin' it real precise with that RO water – pure as it gets, no cap. I ain't lettin' no junk minerals mess up the game. We stayin’ locked on that pH balance like a sniper, so the nutes hit right, and them roots keep drinkin’ smooth. So far, no issues – the plants look strong, real healthy. Ain’t no signs of deficiencies, and the leaves stayin’ green like money. The canopy lookin’ good too, spreadin’ out evenly. All them colas just gettin' ready to explode. You already know, we keepin’ everything low stress, tryin’ to maximize that yield without no drama. Temperature’s steady, humidity right where it need to be – we not takin’ no L’s, bro. It’s early days, but the stretch is comin’ in strong. In a minute, these girls gon' be stackin’ up them buds real heavy. I can already tell we ‘bout to be sittin’ on some fire soon. Auto Maxi Gom is starting to flower more heavily now. She has been growing well. Everything has been really stable, and doing great. 🤞🏻 she keeps up the rhythm she is in and produces some dense frosty colas. Nothing else to report at the moment. 5/16 Chopped down the rest of Trainwreck that had another week on the first chopping. 5/18 Forgot to take video or pics of the last chop, but here is a video. Top row is all Trainwreck except the guy in the front right. Bottom is all Amnesia. 5/27 Long, slow dry at high 50s humidity. Trimming seemed okay, though tedious. Got 83 grams after subtracting the weight of the Grove bag! Not bad! Will update after curing.

This strain grew tall and lanky, with very compact and beautiful nugs. the frost that came out is quite incredible and the fruity sweet and piney smells coming off the plant are lovely. i would definitely grow this plant again, it was easily trainable and the node spacing allowed light to penetrate deep into the canopy, maximizing my grow surface area

Day 85. Just before lights photo's for better true colour understanding, Bio Grow and AlgaMic is out, after finishing this cycle CalMag and Silica out too. Hope its not too early, but girls are really healthy, time to pump up the flowers not leaves :) Day 86. Girls just flying, very happy with Gorillas and Control Garden looks really funky, they stand under no direct light on them... and still flowers looks amazing. Got my new mobile, had to try out :) Next week very busy at work, no updates I think. Day 89. So again i made mistake, while watering them last time accidently left heater on, they overdried , plus temps where at +33c ... Bunny Gorilla looks bad, Gorilla Max got biggest pistil damage, half went brown. Thinking i took nitrogen too early out, but we shall see. On other hand all Control Garden took it well even Cookies with theirs waxy leaves stood thurst nice as such stress can be ... Planing to do defoliation next week, but if Gorillas started to eat themselves already will leave them as it is. Future will show .. Happy Growing !!!

Welcome back in the 8th week of flowering with Dutch Passion’s Brooklyn Sunrise. The one in the front is ripening good, buds are rock solid and covered in trichomes, such a beauty. The smell is surprising, in the first weeks flowering she had more of a diesel kind of smell but it turned its self totally around, the smell reminds me of sour candy, an extremely sweet smell which I didn’t expect but its even better than I expected. Last Sunday I gave the one in the front her the last bits of nutrients, so this week is flushing till Sunday, Sunday will be harvest day!! I noticed that since last weeks some leaves and buds are turning purple, I didn’t even know these have purple in them as well of all the journals that I checked out to see what was up with this strain and what to expect, not a single one had purple in them so I guess I have had a different pheno. Such a beauty to see with all the colors. Cant wait to have a taste! After the one in the front is cut down ill let the other 2 stay in there with the other 2 Cookies for at least 1 week maybe 2 but im not sure. My next grow will take place first or second week of December, in the meantime I will chooce a new strain to grow and prepare the next grow. This time I will perfom my first real ScrOG and combine it with the airdome underneath my pot (they say you can improves your yield by 20-30%). So it got my attention and im very curious about the results. That’s it for now see you all back on Sunday harvest day!!

5/11 I DID NOT WATER. A COUPLE LOOKED DRY BUT STILL HAD HEFT AND I COULD FEEL MOUSTURE IN THE SOIL. I should've taken more pictures. I forgot it's a new week. Oh well. I'll be back over and I'm planning to bring the girls outside for the first time if it warms up a little more. It's windy as fuck but I can put them in the garage with the doors open. As long as that's not the direction of the wind. I raised the L.E.D light and lowered the hps. I also TRIED to FIM a 10th planet and an mk ultra. I may have just topped them. We'll see how it turns out before I do anything to the others. Pink kush grows slow and compact. Very similar to my experience with purple punch. I have two plants that have slightly twisted leaves. Nothing else is wrong with anything. Looking at the stippling on the leaf I think it might just be either low humidity or slight wind burn or a combination of the two. Now that I've looked again I think it might just be the first 5 finger leaf on those pink kush that I mat have mistaken. I'll keep an eye out. I feel better having done some research. I'll put some more pictures up and I'll update what it is that I get done. EDIT: WENT BACK OVER AROUND THREE. EVERUTHING LOOKED GREAT AND THE LEAVES WETE PRAYING ON SOME. I MAY NEED TO WATER SELECT PLANTS TOMORROW. I'LL PLAY IT BY EAR. LOWER THE HPS AND RAISING THE LED WAS A WISE CHOICE I THINK. OH AND THE "TWISTED" LEAF I WAS WORRIED ABOUT IS NOTHING. JUST THE FAN TO CLOSE AND A FOMBINATION OF LOW HUMIDITY AND MINOR HEAT STRESS. ITS BEEN TAKEN CARE OF. I WANTED TO BRING THE GIRLS OUT TODAY. ITS SUNNY AND 60° BUT THE WIND IS WHIPPING! WE'VE GOT GOOD WEATHER COMING UP THOUGH WITH TEMPS IN THE 70'S. I THINK TOMORROW ILL CLEAN/SANITIZE THE CAGE AND WASH/SANITIZE THE GROW BAGS. 5/12 Looking and lifting some of the pots I found some that were pretty much totally dry. I watered the majority of all the plants. If soil was moist I left it alone. If it looked a little dry I gave it a little water. I didn't measure the water but it wasnt even ALL of what I had left from LAST WATERING (which was like a qtr gallon If that). I just don't want to over water. The ones that I went light on last time were the ones that were dry. Plants seem to explode after watering but this wasn't nearly as much. Everything is looking great. It's easy to tell these are all indicas due to the structure and leaf shape. Much different than even the Chem Dog #4 which doesn't LOOK as "indicay" as some of the others. I wanted to bring them outside today but it's only 50 out. I'm not going to make the same mistake as years past and stress the plants. When we get a nice warm day I'll bring them out. Other plants are ready to be topped or fimmed but I haven't done it yet. Also need to clean the cage and wash the bags. 5/13 It's 60° at 9am so I think the girls will be going outside for a little bit. Didn't fully water but I used what was left of the gallon and gave them that. Some are much drier than others. I'll probably give them a full watering tomm. I only gave them a little today because I didn't want them drying out. I FIMMed a Special Kush today. WE'LL see how the hst turns out. EDIT: WENT AND BROUGHT THE GIRLS OUT FOR FOUR HOURS IN INDIRECT SUNLIGHT. THE TENTH PLANETS WERE THE ONLY ONES THAT LOOKED LIKE THEY HAD AN ISSUE. JUST MINOR HEAT OR LIGHT ISSUES WITH A COUPLE FAN LEAVES. EVERYTHING ELSE SEEMED LIKE THEY SHOT UP IN SIZE. THE LARGER CONTAINERS STILL SEEM KINDA MOIST BUT SOME ARE DRY. I NEED TO GET ON A STABLE WATER SCHEDULE. ITS HARD WITH DUFFERENT PLANTS OF VARYING SIZES. STILL HAVE A LOT OF WORK TO DO. 5/14 One plant was super light today and was a little droopy. I WATERED EVERYTHING TODAY USING APPROX A HALF GALLON. I brought them outside for the second day. I left them out for about 3hrs. It's hot today. I'm still floored that chatgtp gave me exact directions for hardening my plants off at my exact location taking the weather into consideration! That is awesome. They're all doing good. Pink kush is the slow starter this year. Kind of like purple punch was. The only plants that had ANY damage on them was the two 10th planet's and its not really damage. It's just a LITTLE mottling on the leaf and the serrations pointing down. It's weird because this strain did great here last time. The Special Kush #1 and the Pink Kush would probably be fine to leave out soon. Hindu Kush parents make those strains extremely resilient. The one chem dog #4 looks out of place with all tjis big fat indica leaves. I'm hoping the topping and fim-ing will take. It looks like it will. 5/15 Everything is looking great! I have some work to do bit then I'll be over to bring the girls out for a few hours. I'll edit this when I do. EDIT: BROUGHT THE GIRLS OUT FOR THREE HOURS TODAY. I THOUGHT THE TENP WENT DOWN TO 73 BUT TUAT WAS INDOORS. OH WELL. THEY STILL DID GREAT! THEY WERE ALL LOOKING OUT OF THE LEAN-TO LIKE SUNFLOWERS! THE STRAIGHTEN OUT AFTER BEING UNDER THE GROW LIGHTS. I'M PLANNING TO CONTINUE TO HARDEN THROUGHOUT THE WEEK. STILL NEED TO CLEAN BAGS AND GROW AREA. I HAVE 'A' CAMERA DOWN. TRIED TO FIX IT TODAY BUT I WOULD GET RO THE LAST PART BUT THE CAMERA WOULDNT READ THE QR CODE ON MY PHONE. I EMAILED THE COMPANY BUT IF I DONT HEAR BACK BY TOMORROW AND I CANT FIX IT ILL JUST BUY ANOTHER CAMERA TO ADD TO THE SYSTEM. ITS THE OLDEST CAMERA I HAVE AND ITS DONE ME 5 GOOD YEARS. MAYBE ITS TIME TO RETIRE IT. 5/16 I watered a few of the girls this morning with a small ring around the pot. I brought them outside and am leaving them for 3.5 hours today in the lean-to. They get indirect light without all the wind this way. I'll slowly increase the hours outside until there is enough daylight for them to go outside without revegging. When I put them out I noticed that a few were light and since it was close to 80° I watered most everything. I used under a half gallon. I'll see how they do from here and then move forward. I fixed my down security camera and secured my cage. Now I just need to finish hardening off, clean/sanitize bags/environment and put them in tjeir final homes. I'm not rushing it though. I've learned my lesson with that. 5/17 Plants did great yesterday and were perky and praying this morning. It was HOT yesterday too. Got into the low 80's. It's 57° degrees at 9am and it's overcast and sprinkling. I haven't decided if I'm going to bring the girls out today. It might be a good day to try some direct sunlight. I'll update whatever I decide to do.
