Day 60 of 12/12 HARVEST TIME They are soooo fine I barely have words. Weak-neck gland trait is a fact. I was collecting FRESH, "WET" (non-dried) flowers for Fresh Frozen - the amount of trichome heads just breaking off during that process was astounding. Air was full of trichome heads every time I touched a branch or a bud. I repeat - it was non-dried flowers, straight from a branch, from alive, watered plant - and I collected a few grams of loose heads in my TrimBin. Crazy stuff. I also pressed it and I got top-shelf rosin - without dryiyng and sieving or bubble ice wash. Mind blown 🤯 8 plants 60 days (8.5 weeks) of flowering under 12/12 4x4 ft tent 466W Mars Hydro light = 2166g of Whole Plant Fresh Frozen material (just trimmed buds + some trichome-covered leaves) Now floweres are in deep freeze -36°C waiting to be washed for bubble hash and pressed into live rosin in the near future.

Day 56: Merry Christmas everyone. Today It seems the K deficency symptoms aren't getting any worse and a few of the smaller and less effected leaves are returning to green already! I guess the other leaves will take time IF they go green at all by the end of the grow. The flowers have swollen again so even though there was a deficiency she doesn't seem to have slowed down too much. Score one for having loads of leaf mass I guess! I'm going to monitor her closely today and tomorrow, he pot is still very wet and humic acid helps soil hold onto water so it may be another 24 hours before she needs watering at least! But I think a water with no nutes will be fine this time. The overall plant has taken on a healthy shade of green, it's just the parts that had gone pale from the k def that are still the wrong colour, hopefully these will gain a healthier green over the day / tomorrow, I think 1 more week and she'll be ready to defoliate and head into the flush stage. Looks like it might be a satisfying first harvest! Day 57: It doesn't look it so much from the pictures, but today the plant is looking a much healthier shade of green, in the leaves in the central mass we still have some leaves that aren't fully green because they were hidden in the depths of the plant. Today I did some very light LST just to pull the flowers out slightly further, I noticed there's a lot of buds on some of the stems and I've tried to expose the light as deep into the light as possible, in about 1/2 weeks I'll defoliate again and try and expose more of the lower down flowers to the light, today I simply tidied up the base of the plant and exposed the main stem base to more airflow, I think the stalk is looking healthy, I've never seen a healthy stalk before but there's a white film that I recognise from being the skin earlier on, raised the grow question to be sure I also trimmed off some tiny flowers near the base of the plant, they were never going to reach anything significant and I understand taking these smaller flowers can stress the plant in the right way to grow the rest bigger, So today I took 3 flowers that weren't even going to be larf by the end. As well as exposing more of each tops stem to more light I hope to stimulate growth along some of the stems that look like they'll produce a good amount of popcorn buds

Week 6 from sprout. Around 40 days from sprout. Not much have changed. Completely over to bloom so hopefully the extra pk does its job. I plan on increasing ppm until my run off is only 100 or so below my feed. I'll let this journal know when i feel i have equaled out. Today i gave a feed of 1500 (3000/3.0 ec) ppm twice. .... will let u know what the runoff readings say tomorrow evening. Takes a lot of ph down to get my tap water right. ... I need to raise my light a little. Though only two plants are the reason. So im a little conflicted. My temps have been averaging about 85-90... rh around 50. Some pistils on the sides were going orange. it may be strain and my fan that i keep full blast in there. Leaves closest to the light are stressed. But that's jus a few colas on two plants. Figure out light and height tomorrow. I have been removing runoff by scooping up about 2 gals worth of runoff every other day.... One plant looks more indica and i love the bushy fat leaves look. I hope they aren't too leggy to get good yeild. As most of em are over 42 inches. I'll take better pics later on. 2 days later 6-9-19 Ok. Canopy was getting ridiculous. And lst was out the question so i went to extreme measures. I supercropped everything down with 3 inches of my smallest plant. The biggest today measured at 52 inches tall and 30 inches wide. Will post before and after pics after i make dinner for the fam..

So frosty now. And the smelll... so stinky. Citrus and gas.

Hi guys, At the end of the story, I am very happy with the whole cycle and finally the outcome, I almost killed everything in there 😂 The Black D.O.G is a great Indica dominant strain, with a short flowering period. I did have problems throughout the cycle overfertilizing the plant, even though, this strain in particular is the one that recovered better and gave me a precious final product. Iinfact, I kept almost all the flowers, just the super baby pop-corn went for bubble hash. I topped them, and then practiced LST training to help them growing wider. Probably if I wouldnt have messed up with the ferilizer I would have a much better final product, this time, talking about quantity and quality. The whole plants were dried for 18 days after which they were finished in jars for another 6 weeks, if I dont fell sooner. Really looking forward to grow this strain again Indoor, I'am amazed by the terpene profile and the amount of resin they produced, even under my terribles mistake! STRONG GENETIC! I would like to thank Grow Diaries for this amazingly-organized community they have created, where we all can learn a lot, and share something we really love. Thanks to everyone who stopped by and looked at the diary, squeezed the like button or comment the diary. 13/12 I'VE MADE MY FIRST RUN OF BUBBLE HASH! Very very happy with the end result, did not weight anything yet because is still wet big time, I lightly squeezed it a bit, before let it drying on parchment on a cardboard. The smell it's just absolutely crazy. I can smell strong citrus notes in the 120µm but the 90µm and 73µm explodes with crazy-sweet note. While the 25µm (did not use the 43µm) where I did collect most of the hash, smell like good and sweet hash, nothing crazy like the previous ones but a very buttery like consistency that makes me want to eat it like this...dont ask me why...even though I know you all probably felt this way too... Anyway, the paper sheet says it all about timing, washes and µm used for the extractions, but just in case I'll explain it down here. I have done 3 wash with different timing. 1º wash: 5 min only to get the most brittle trichome heads 2º wash: 10 min stardard 3º wash: 30 min to stock up a bit 😅 I could have done an extra wash for sure and get more out, but I was running out of time so...I will update with the dry weight, it was not the only wash I've done, that were just too many grades to weight up..so I chose to do it once all dry! This past week has been a blast! After getting these ladies nutrition straightened out, they are thriving!💚🌱💚 I gave defoliated wayyy more than what I see other growers traditionally doing. After the "3rd and final haircut" I defoliated two more times 😅 Thank you the GD community for the support and resources along the way 🙏 My only concern now is the tent actually becoming too crowded.😆. Amber trichomes are starting to form, we're cloudy in most sections but there's still a bunch of clear a little deeper in. This is probably their last full week..we cut all nutrients nearly a month ago and have been watering heavy (as we typically do during flush) but they have only lightened slightly, we use a soilless media which should be completely flushed out by now but most the leaflets are still super dark, after seeing several other grows of this strain we assume it must be characteristic of B.B..we have 4 grow areas in our grow room and the Bangers can be smelled over everything else.. It smells like Fruit Loops with notes of gasoline 🍓⛽...The SP-3000 by MarsHydro is an absolute beast in a 4x2, this is our 2nd grow under The SP-3000 and we completely filled the 4x2 on both occasions. Each run resulted in massive, compact Buds just covered in resin..its without a doubt the best LED of its size we have in house or have ever been privileged to use honestly... Little bit of nute burn on this one :( The compost is quite hot, after reading a little on autos that should be avoided. Well it's all learning and she's recovering ok. Nice shape and no lasting damages.

She is now coming into preflower and loving the new T5's. She is growing nice and bushy with future tops shooting for the stars. The stretch is definitely near. She will continue to be tied down and has been pruned and defoliated as needed to give her that sexy shape i want her to have in flower. Her terpines are beginning to be noticeable and is of lemons, earthy notes, and loud gas. She is now also getting kelp extract added to the nutes. She is growing very nicely and i could not be happier at the moment. So far OSSC has my attention as their phenotypes have been very nice.
