Another week has flown by! The girls are doing great, cruise control this week as I have just been monitoring RH and temps. Trying to keep them as low as possible, I’ve been getting as low as 74 during the day and 68 at night. I finally took a look a look at the trichomes with my jewellers loop, lots of cloudy, and a few amber around the leaves and top colas, but still lot’s of clear trichomes. I’ve ordered myself a wireless/usb digital microscope to assist with the process, and looks like it will be here just in time to determine harvest day. 😎🎄 I started by eliminating the nutrients at the beginning of the week. I typically allow for 3-4 pure water feeds before I harvest, and at the rate they have been drinking, this should be enough to get through the 7-12 days they have before harvest. I don’t flush, but rather “rinse” with normal water amounts, allowing the plant to use up the remaining nutrients in the soil. This also allows me to recover most of the soil from my grows and reuse ♻️ with other soil mix. There has been great debate and a great deal of bro science out there for many years, but the recent studies suggest there is no difference in end result when it comes to flushing or using nutrients right until the end, if a proper dry and cure is performed. It's Saturday night as i type this. Week 7 doesn't officially begin till Monday but i fed tonight cuz they needed it so i decided to get this over with tonight. Runtz is billed as a 9 week finish. So these girls are still putting on weight so it may very well be 9 to finish. Tonight i staked all the plants and tied up sagging branches. Plants again fed full dose of bloom nutrients. There's noticeable Thrip damage on lower leaves, but the crop is close and the lady bugs have kept those little fuckers in check. When i found out i had a Thrip infestation in late summer i was pondering killing all my mothers and cleaning everything and have my operation sit idle for a month to knock out any and all Pests. Fortunately i opted to go the lady bug route. I released 700 lady bugs into my operation and have harvested the bugs off the last crop and deployed them to the next crop. I've been soaping my mother's but i'm not consistent in doing that so the Thrips persist. Next crop will be i think 6 Zake in 5 gal fabric pots in Coco.

Welcome to the Zamnesia Spring Cup 🏆 Hello everyone :-) A lot has happened this week 🤗. It has developed very nicely and its roots have exploded properly 😍. It is also slowly becoming lighter, since it has obviously been slowly consuming its nutrients from the soil :-) That is why it was repotted today, mixing 3 layers with a total of 60-75 g Monster Bud Mix between the soil. Then everything was mixed and distributed well, and the plant used. Unfortunately I noticed too late that I didn't take any pictures of the root ball while repotting 🤦‍♂️🏻. I look forward to seeing how it evolves this week. Above all, I am excited to see how she is doing with the Monster Bud Mix, as I have been used to mixing everything for each wash separately 😊. During the course of this week I will also spontaneously decide whether I will give her an LST, topping fimming, etc., since I have to see how I am in the vegi phase, because the Spring Cup has a limited time 😁. Se le ha aplicado un tratamiento insecticida con agua + tierra de diatomeas ( 1 cucharadita por litro de agua), también se le aplica un tratamiento fungicida con una infusión de cola de caballo para evitar futuro moho. Had a couple of the stems which were almost drooping on the ground due to the weight of the buds, so decided to harvest those two branches today. Also, this week I did a bit more research on when to harvest. I had been waiting for the trichomes to begin to turn amber, but after reading this article: https://www.growweedeasy.com/harvest, I decided to harvest when the trichomes were cloudy. Experts say that the amber trichomes give a more relaxing effect, but I was growing this plant for daytime use. Looked at it under my digital microscope and decided to pull the trigger on the whole plant. Plus, the neighbors were starting to notice the smell. Final height - 104" - 8 1/2 feet - 2.64 meters. Not good. Was concerned that someone would hop the fence and pilfer my plant. Harvested her at 35 weeks - 281 days. Grow diaries really needs to expand the weeks available for us outdoor growers. Started her indoors in Feb. Transplanted outside on April 7th.

Start of week 6. Week 5 went really well, this Do-si-dos is packing on bud weight, size, density and she is insanely sticky! Just lightly touching her, is like touching sticky pads or glue, just crazy!!

Wrll Cannafam weve come to the end, After 3 days of allot of rain i noticed some fussy bits on my gal and i brought her in for an emergency harvest ☹️ I did want to run her another couple of weeks but British Summer had other plans as usual, humidity has cosistantly been in the 90s and it was a risk i know, but sometimes you have to walk the line. Whilst carefully taking her down this eve i noticed more hiding and ive basically lost about half the plant! On thr upside theres still a good amount that was saved and what there is is absolutley loaded with trichomes and super sticky, il update with weight once dry. Ive also got a big bag of super sticky trim from this gal which will be loaded into a bong at some point i suspect 😉 I hope youve enjoyed this diary and i will follow with smoke report soonish, thank you to everyone who liked or commented and take good care my friends 😊✌️

Plants growing extremely well, the only problem I think I'm having is too many nutrients. Plant A is showing some strange signs. a few big fan leaves are becoming "crispy" I can see a bit of nutrient burn, but a minimal amount I finally set up the drip system this week. I started LST this week, I bent both plants pretty hard, they are almost parallel to the soil. On plant A I did super cropping by mistake, I was tieing a branch and I put too much force on the bend, but palnt didn't seem afected at all by this. DAY 29 - Nutes PH - 5.96 Solution Temp - 21.5 PPM-1600 Watering Volume per plant - 4L DAY 32 - Water PH - 6 Solution Temp - 21.2 PPM-560 Watering Volume per plant - 4L Next week I will add the second ligh to the tent

Runtz Automatic - Zamnesia Day 56 - Watered with 2L of RO tap water with defined nutrients, pH'd to 6.3 - for reference, I usually water when the moisture content of the soil reaches around 8-10%, then I water until either I see a good amount of runoff, or the moisture content reaches around 30%, then I let it settle to around 25%. This week, she has mainly been focusing on bulking her flower, so other than removing a couple of fan leaves to allow light to reach bud sites, I haven't done much with her; really, other than a small amount of training and defoliation, as well as a little bit of lollipoping on the lower stems, its pretty much all I've had to do with her - she has been really easy to grow!! Looking at her today, I would say shes about 10-15 days away from harvest, max! Notes: - she has entered the last couple week of her lifecycle, so I've moved her into the center of the tent, to give her the best light concentration. - she was showing signs of Calcium deficiency, so I've upped her CalMag from 0.5 to 1 ml/L - her internodal spacing is amazing, I can see each individual bud site grow, which has been really cool. - from a structural perspective, shes the best looking plant I've ever grown! If she smokes well, I will grow this strain again. - I will begin flushing her from the end of this week, to prepare her for harvest.

All in all it was a great grow, alot of challenges alot the way but Im glad i stuck it out because It was 100% worth it in the long run. Buds are a very dark purple, full of trichomes, really special to look at with your own eyes, unfortunately my phone camera doesnt quite catch the beauty. Straight from drying and the buds taste amazing with their own unique taste and smell. I cant wait to see what its like after a 2 week cure! I reccomend growing this strain.
