week 5 of MD XXL flowering 😎 2 of the yellowing unhealthy plants are recovering after all, i wonder if they will get as nice as the one which did good from the start but well see. At least i can see some trichome forming on the 2 yellowed plants so with still a couple of weeks left i hope they recover. Not realy much more going on, im getting the hang of giving water, i just wait and lift my pots to feel if they need water or not, they usualy get a watering each 1.5-2 days 👍 Also temperatures around here are alot more bearable now so thats good.

Hi Cannafam, its all about the microbes! Brewed a tea for 24hrs, of the soil activator 2.6g, fresh organic kefir 100g, EM1 4ml, aquaponics microbes (fresh semi solid fish waste) 100g. and molasses at a rate of 20g per gal. or 5g per Litre. Once brewed add yucca at a rate of 1ml per gal, then use as a foliar spray and root drench. Just thinking I should have added some worm castings to the mix as well. That's next for next week I guess.

Week 11, D71 Flower Day 41. She's super frosty. And very sticky and sticky. Smells of fresh cut strawberries and a light musky sweet earthy smell. Not a whole lot of bud, but what's there is tops by the looks of it. I'm hoping this is going to be the A grade bud I've been looking for. Plant has been thrown into soft flush. Been given terra powers finisher. 1ml/L 150 ppm and ph + adjusted to 6.7. Should of just let it grow normal. Lessons learnt. Even though she wasn't let grow o'natural I've seen what I can get, 1 main top cola and smaller colas on the side instead of 50-70cm small plants. Hopefully I'll get 50-70cm nodes with a big ass frosty cola on my next run, and then I'll be able to say for sure, that topping isn't the way to go with autos. As I've topped every single 1 I've grown and the tallest plant I could get was 90cm. Either it's the topping or not grown to its peak performance. HARVEST DAY. She's frosty. I've seen more frosty SG but I'm happy with this with how I crippled her growth. But in stunning her height I do think I've made for some A grade Bud up top. There is some airy bud at the very end. This week’s update is coming early, as I’m leaving for 1.5 weeks. Next week’s update will come on Saturday again, as per usual. The nutrients seem to be off in some way, it’s clearly visible on the pictures now. I tried lowering the PH, as I noticed that my tab-water might have one nearing 8, I’m not sure though. As I’m leaving today, I won’t really be able to try anything else and/or monitor whether there’s any improvement, so I can really just hope for the best .-.

We ain’t messing over here, new to the grow diary, so will be keeping track of all my things from the start… but for now check this one we harvested last month what a yield 💜🥊 Finessed

The final week! 12 weeks since germination, 11 since first sprout. These Apollo F1's vastly outgrew their advertised size and bud density. I will be cutting them down tomorrow and updating with the harvest page and photos soon. Great second grow!

Alright, bad news ladies and gents, I got the bud rot. It’s been humid as hell here and I think the buds were way to dense and not drying. I noticed it by inspecting the buds. As bud rot rots from the inside out, I noticed a few “out of place” leaves on the buds that were brown. From my experience with late season bud rot last year I knew right away. I peeled open the bud and sure enough rot. I looked around a bit more and found it in a few more places, I decided right away to take the large buds, and leave some on the plant to mature. The big green behind the garage, I also found some on one bud, I cut and tossed it. The purple one has no rot yet, I think because of the spacing between the bud sites, it’s not dense. Anyway here is a partial harvest, and some bud rot pics. I’m letting them finish, I’ll just keep an eye on them. Pray for dry weather for me. Cheers.

Week 9! Day 65: 2L (pH6.8) + mild organic fertiliser from kitchen scraps. Remember the potato water I spoke of earlier? I blended it up with some ruined sweet peppers from the garden and some applecider vinegar & eggshell to give her one last, very diluted nutrient solution. This feed was aimed more at the soil than the plant. Bud bulking has come to a halt, she's fading. Nonetheless, I discovered some purple leaf edges on one of the buds in particular, I wonder if this might be related to nutrition or temperature. Day 67: 2L (pH6.6) + 5ml/l home-made fertiliser. I noticed I accidentally had turned off the timer on the LED, as well as left it on 20% power the entire night. I was expecting to have to disturb her lights off period to look at her, but there she was just chilling in low light conditions. Also, she seems to have no problems running on the very diluted home-made fertiliser so I'm repeating the previous feed - this time being a bit more precise on the dosage: 5ml/l. As I stated, this is more of a fertiliser for the soil microbes than herself. Day 68: Damp, no water Trichomes are still mostly clear, nothing unexpected. Patience is not my strongest virtue.

I caught up on some reading and decided to defoliate before chasing the second half of this flower. I'm pretty confident that after being in the Nature's Living Soil for a few weeks that she is strong enough to handle the defoliation, but hell, whadda I know?? 9.19 - The DumpsterQueen didn't even flinch at the defoliation. Yay! 9.21 - Just enjoying the show :) 9.22 - Figure I better learn how to best take and edit photos. Probs need some auxiliary non-grow light 😝

Noticed nitrogen deficiency last week with yellowing veins and some fading of new growth below. Flushed and checked pH before adding a heavy feeding of Grow Big. After a few days some color returned and she has livened back up.
