I will give them another day or two before flushing I think. The smell is currently fantastic 1/12 There really isn't much to do with these girls anymore other than PH every day and make sure their water levels are consistent to maintain their nutrient levels. Tomorrow I will begin the Flushing 1/13 I decided on one more day of nutrients. I Topped off the Reservoirs and adjusted their PH's to 5.8 as usual. I cleaned out the tent today as well. I can't wait to harvest these buds they are looking great. 1/14 Today is Flushing Day! I will flush them for about 6 days which is very fairly long for a typical DWC grow. I will only PH the water from here on out. 1/15-19 I Flushed these plants while maintaining a stable PH and humidity the best I could. The water level is not important during this because without nutrients you don't need to worry about ratios as long as you just keep the PH stable you will be fine. With a longer flush like this one, you should expect to see death in leaves its ok. I only did this for life reasons, I suggest a 3-5 day flush in DWC. These plant's Trichomes matured fast and harvest time approached quickly. The smell in the tent is very potent and gloves are going to be an absolute must on this chop! I will be hang drying the plants inside the dark grow tent with ventilation to maintain humidity levels. I don't personally have a preference between a slow or fast drying process. This time I will be looking at 3-5 days of hang drying before chopping them into jars for a few weeks of cure using Boveda packs. I'm very pleased with the bud color and smell even though the overall weight will be less than desired I will be growing this strain again immediately. There isn't too much more to add to this week other than the grow is complete and the Dry/Cure process is all that is left. I'm just excited to get my harvest on here! I believe this will be my biggest of the 3 plants. I have it all mostly trimmed. I will dry trim a bit later and weigh. I will try it once it's dry, though it is tempting to smoke a bowl of the hash fur I pulled off everything with tweezers. More photos and a review of Platinum Purple to come. Thanks everyone @GrowDiaries for making this site and to the grow community for the support, encouragement and the wisdom of your experience. Grown from veganic clone from Buds & Roses. Dry in peace, my little buds! Dried in brown paper bags after a half assed wet trim. Dry trimmed after stems snapped and put into a canning jar to cure. Vaped trimmings with popcorn nug. Biggest mistakes of this grow: Not vegging longer Not using a PPM meter and using extremely hard tap water Not starting from seed Not keeping the space cleaner (fur & bugs) Not using individual trellises Not using ventilation besides fans Not using enough fans Best lessons learned: I loved growing weed. Being on this site in a supportive community made it especially fun. Small yeild but when you consider I pay 30-60/8th at the pot store and that this was my first grow and I feel lucky to have made it to harvest , getting a half oz out of one plant is more than fine by me.

Day 33-40 (May 24th-May 31st) (Day 34) I just found a herm branch on the tight blueberry pheno. It looks like a random pollen sack opened right above a lower branch. I removed the sack but I saw a small amount of dust fall onto one of the lower branches. I’m going to leave it to see if it will pollinate that small branch at all. I spent a good 5 minutes looking closely for bananas or claws but couldn’t find anymore. The main bud is clearly unaffected so I will just leave it unless it is visibly seeding itself. Too bad because I’m really excited for this plant. (Day 36) Not a lot has happened since I flushed them. Growth actually looks healthy and I don’t see any deficiencies on anything yet. (Day 37) Both of these badazz cheese phenos are picture perfect and easily hold up against Canadian and California quad grade. I might try to reveg them at the end and take some clones. They have this unique pungent, grassy, sour milk smell that is just wonderful. The density and bud structure is looking great too. This whole plant will probably take 3 minutes to trim if that. (Day 38) Just found a banana on the shitty blueberry pheno. This pheno is trash and I would honestly throw it away if it didn’t mess up the 3 perfect rows. It has almost no frost, no smell, is airy and has bad structure. I’ve actually never seen a plant with such little frost. Even outdoors. (Day 39) I think most of this tent will be done by day 60 but I will probably ride it out until day 70+. I don’t think the blueberries or the jacks will fill out very much either way but taking it too day 70 will ensure maximum production from each plant.

Week 15 going good…not bad …switching to bloom nutrient… and did a ton of defoliating to loosen up the canopy hopefully they won’t grow too much when I flip them to 1212 in a week I’ve seen these plants three times the size. Hopefully I can stunt that growth during the initial stretch by switching to Bloom nutrients early. Defoliating a week before flipping. I may decide to top them more but I probably won Do I have to type here for it to be green this is crazy. I’ve done more than a paragraph now at this point it’s kind of weird that it’s not green be green what the hell can it still not be green

May 3- I picked up my clones for this season today. Plants appear very healthy and are currently under two 150 Watt HPS until these plants can survive the cold Maine temps which won't be for a few weeks. From here the will go in fabric pots ranging from 30 to 50 gallons and trellised. The soil mixture that I use is 1/3 happy frog 1/3 FFOF and 1/3 roots organic. When I get good weather I need to clean up last year's mess and wash my bags. I couldn't take pictures due to low memory but I will. I'm going to start hardening the plants off a few hours each day. 5/9 Watered everything and started LSTing but I need more room. Weather is going to be great so I think I'll hold off on training others. I pinched a few and I'm going to try to get the plants out side some so they can harden off. Planning on dumping soil and washing bags today. I got most of the cleaning done. Bags are dumped and soaking. Soil needs have been established and I'm planning on either ordering from Amazon or picking up in person the next couple days. Plants never made it outside today as it was rather windy.

Hello:) The plants are progressing nicely. The wasabi is almost ready but the sangrias need at least one more week. Let‘s hope the wasabi won‘t be too much overripe by then:) Sadly the red/purple buds don‘t seem to spread more to the top buds, I suspect that the temperature difference between day and night is not enough, let‘s see if they get more color this week. I plan to harvest between the 18.11-22.11 if the sangrias are ready, the wasabi will have to hang in there:)

My second growroom is built and the girls have moved in. This new strain combines two well-received parents, Juanita la Lagrimosa (Spanish for "Juanita the Tearful") and Royal Highness, which are themselves genetic hybrids of other precursor strains: Juanita the Tearful from Queen Mother and a Mexican-Afghan blend; Royal Highness from Dance Hall and Respect 13. On and on the strains date back in agricultural time, each new variety with its own unique smell, taste, color, high and medical benefit. However, in the past decade, a goal of all this tinkering has been what some producers are starting to call “Royal Respect” with the soul of marijuana's benefits going toward both body and mind. Painkiller XL is notable for its near-equal representation of 6 percent tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and 7 percent cannabidiol (CBD), achieved by a seed that's 70 percent sativa and 30 percent indica. Hey everyone, I meant to post this update yesterday, but I was really busy. Anyway, here she is! She's doing great, although still a bit darker than I'd like, which might just be her genetics. Overall, I'm really happy with how things are going for my first grow. There are definitely some things I could have done to improve this run. The top buds aren't as fat as I hoped, probably because there are so many tops and bud sites under the canopy that aren't getting enough PPFD. This seems to be causing the plant to direct quite a lot of energy to the lower buds, leaving the top colas not getting 100% of the energy they need. But hey, we learn as we go, and this first run has taught me a lot. I'm aiming for at least 4 ounces, but honestly, she doesn't look like she's producing that much weight at the moment. Fingers crossed these buds juice up and double in size within these last two weeks! Thanks for following along and for all the support! 🌱✨
