Plant two is doing a little better color wise. Something is going on with the leaves of plant one mostly. Maybe it is because i was using overflow water straight from the air conditioning unit instead of the tap? I'm having to pull a lot of dead leaves off

Another week has flown by! The girls are doing great, cruise control this week as I have just been monitoring RH and temps. Trying to keep them as low as possible, I’ve been getting as low as 74 during the day and 68 at night. I finally took a look a look at the trichomes with my jewellers loop, lots of cloudy, and a few amber around the leaves and top colas, but still lot’s of clear trichomes. I’ve ordered myself a wireless/usb digital microscope to assist with the process, and looks like it will be here just in time to determine harvest day. 😎🎄 I started by eliminating the nutrients at the beginning of the week. I typically allow for 3-4 pure water feeds before I harvest, and at the rate they have been drinking, this should be enough to get through the 7-12 days they have before harvest. I don’t flush, but rather “rinse” with normal water amounts, allowing the plant to use up the remaining nutrients in the soil. This also allows me to recover most of the soil from my grows and reuse ♻️ with other soil mix. There has been great debate and a great deal of bro science out there for many years, but the recent studies suggest there is no difference in end result when it comes to flushing or using nutrients right until the end, if a proper dry and cure is performed. the cold has arrived and it shows!! what a nice progression towards purple/orange colors!! I absolutely love those nuances. had a little check on the trichomes, we are almost there, the brownish/milky ones are still few against the transparent ones, but in a matter of a few days I hope they are gonna balance. i wanna exploit those last sunny days, then the average temperature is gonna be too much cold, making impossible all the biology process, or at least too slow to be appreciated. So next update is gonna be the cut, early in the morning.

This little lady is turning out to be a piglet just like her sister. She is drinking so much I though I had a leak in my auto drainage system because I came after a few days out of town and the 32 gallon reservoir was almost empty but so was my drain bucket outside the tent. I opened the tent expecting it to be soaking wet on the floor but there was not a drop of water, so I had to up her watering to 5 gallons per day to even get a quart of runoff. I also had to remove the mini dehumidifier and replace it with a full size dehumidifier to keep the tent under 50% RH. I also have a full size dehumidifier running outside the tent and it is keeping the RH at around 40% outside the grow tent. She is starting to smell very nice and grapey, not overpowering yet when you open the tent, but I feel like in a few weeks she will definitiely be there. War eh nur ein Experiment, wie sich die Pflanzen bei 4 h direktem Sonnenlicht verhalten auf dem Balkon. Ertrag ist dem entsprechend gering & die Dichte der Blüte fehlt, sehr sehr Fluffig aber der Geruch/Geschmack erinnert an 2014er Vibes. Also Smoke Qualität ist super und die Wirkung sehr klar & clean. Werde die Sorte sicherlich nochmal im Zelt ausgrown.

Had to go to new orleans for 5 days, my auto-irrigation setup failed and was barely giving water to the plants , they grew slower than they could have, so i may have stunted a bit of their growth this week. Despite that, they seem healthy and buds are on one of them are starting to mature. The other 3 are close behind. I posted a video of the timelapse during the time that my auto-irrigation failed. You can see the spurts of growth from a faulty irrigator only releasing a miniscule amount of water. This resulted in the plant slowly wilting, then exploding in growth when a tiny amount of water was released. (about a cup every two days, for about a week.) Otherwise, been watering when pots dry out, then a full runofof fill carbon filtered tap water (un-phed) treated with 3mg per gallon cal-mag suppemented Besides that, no nutrients have been added because I've been using FFOF, and the soil is WAY too hot. Will not use again

WEEK 8 (DAY50-56) This week, my beloved Dos-si-dos have put on a good amount of bulk. Due to the very small pots in the SOG setup and the aggressive mainlining, the plants have taken on quite a bonsai-like appearance. The stretch is still ongoing, but I don't think it plays a major role here. Otherwise, all the plants have developed beautiful, even shoots that are already fully covered with young, delicate buds. The stems of the plants have already reached over 15mm in thickness, which I find quite impressive for their size. Essentially, one could say that Dos-si-dos grow quickly and in a very compact manner. Starting this week, I have supplemented the fertilization schedule with Green Sensation from Plagron, which I now use about once or twice a week. Additionally, I have adjusted my lamp upwards again. On average, I now have a light intensity of approximately 700 PPFD, which, over a 20-hour period, results in a DLI of around 55. I try to keep the humidity consistently below 60%. The next few weeks will be interesting with this strain. I believe the plants will ultimately look quite peculiar due to their small stature but productive growth. Really good looking plant, I'd say she's definitely a sativa by the shape of her leaves and the distance between internodes as well, I think this lady is ideal to be trained, I guess she'll be a big bush full of nice colas, let's see what we can do!
