I will not be using any organics or biological supplements this run, so no GHE Diamond Nectar, Pro Roots, Pro Bloom, only mineral based fertilizers, Tri-Part Flora Series, Cal Mag, Armor Si, Mineral Magic etc. This is a very old seed, but has been in the refrigerator with the rest of my collection since I purchased it. Started dry seed in wet Root Riot on 17-08-2022 Day 1 a. dry blue dream seed is in Root Riot branded root plug with PH 5.5 water on it. b. I will add 5-10ml to the root riot 2 times per day Day 3 a. first signs of the plant are visible b. she may be up tomorrow!! Day 4 - video a. she is in the middle of rising when I took first photo b. lights have been 24/7, temperature in tent is 27 degrees right now c. she is up! wow! 56 hours from dry seed we have a plant! d. in the open with micro humidifier providing nice RH. e. video uploaded Day 5 - hello world a. she is up, and looking nice and strong b. she still gets 24 hrs of light, I will change to the schedule soon. Yo yo yo what's up growmies?! So quick update... plants are doing okay but this week we lost a light... RIP Phlizon Pro 2000, but thankfully I was able to get the mars hydro up and the girls are loving it right now. I'll update next week about the lights.

This week was a good week too. Being from Canada. The weather was pretty cold outside but was around 18-20 indoors. Had to start humidifier as humidity dropped to 9% in my room next to window.

CLOSE!!!!!! she is absolutely friggin caked with trichs!!!! just need her to plump up a little so we got some weight to her but she definelty looks potent af!!!!! only issue this run really was the stretching. I have a theory about why this happened and will test it out next crop, got the next ladies germed up already. I think removing the third fan allowed it to be to calm in there and the ladies to stretch more, this is just a theory i'll test out. If i had the space, i wouldnt mind the stretch but being in my little 5.5 x 5.5 tent i cant waste any space!!! am i going to break the tent record of just under 800 grams dried? probably not lol but lets hope for 600+

Start of week 4. This girl stretched an inch during week 3 and her bud sites continued to pack on size and take shape. She is very sticky to the touch, with a slight citrus, earthy smell.

This run was definitely a rollercoaster. Unfortunately, one phenotype turned hermaphrodite during flower and had to be removed. Luckily, the second plant completely made up for it and exceeded all my expectations. During the final week, she received only reverse osmosis water with CalMag. Before harvest, she spent 48 hours in complete darkness. After that, I chopped the whole plant and hung it to dry at 20°C and 55% RH. I left all the fan leaves on because I expected the humidity to drop over the following days, helping to slow the drying process. The plant developed an incredible purple fade and became absolutely covered in trichomes. ❄️ The main cola stretched more than expected instead of bulking up, but the buds still finished dense, sticky and beautiful. The terpene profile is one of the most unique I've experienced. The aroma is sweet, sugary and slightly gassy. On the inhale it's sweet and almost jam-like, while the exhale turns spicy. 🍓🌶️ Definitely not a flavor profile for everyone, but I really enjoy it. Effects are strong, relaxing and long-lasting. Because I enjoyed this phenotype so much, I already kept a clone as a backup 🌱 and will definitely run this strain again. Despite losing one plant to hermaphroditism, the keeper proved that Chicken N' Wafflez has a lot of potential. Overall, I'm very happy with the final quality. Beautiful colors, heavy frost and a truly unique terpene profile. 💜

That's why the beautiful dark shimmer on the leaves :-). She has developed very well this week. I will give you 7-10 days before I switch to flowering. Was such a pleasant harvest from start to finish, no issues at all. A tip for next time would be to have the SCRoG lower as I couldn’t really tuck any node sights this time round, smells absofuckinglutely amazing from 3RD week bloom onwards!
