it's been 3 weeks already, the girl is short, and I performed a major ring cut on her:) this will be my first such growth, I want to see something different :) overall, the girl looks healthy:) I think she will be really great :) as long as she hasn't received the main ones nutrients, but I will introduce her to them in the next watering - she will like it :) good luck to everyone :)!

This grow had its up and downs but I must say I’m very happy with the out come with over 2 pounds. One of the plants gave me 7.5 ozs alone. Now I’m on to my next journey after my grow room reset. I will be running some fast buds white widow auto and jack herer auto in the grow ace air Cube be on the look out for that journal. Thanks for all who kept looking and liking the journal. . FIRST DAYS ------------- New week, new diet The girls are getting 3+3ml of Grow A+B, and still 2ml of Voodoo. Instead of 3 waterings of 1L, we are now doing 3 x 3L. One of the girls has some minor burns, so I am keeping a close eye on that. An excess of nutrients seems unlikely to me, but I will see in a few days after this increase. MIDWEEK ----------- It's probably not just the Voodoo, but my girls have grown a lot this week. I think they like this little juice 😉The root system still has some work to fill the 15L of coco, but things are going well. As for the small burns on the leaves, I think it's due to heat and/or wind stress: the temperature frequently rose to +35°C and the leaves were shaken by my fans, which were directed straight at them. I increased the speed of my filter and placed the fans facing the sides of the tent while increasing the air flow; we're back to an average of 30°C. To be continued. But most importantly, the girls have developed 4-5 nodes... so it's training time! 👍 I know what many people think about topping autos, but I disagree; it clearly has the advantage of giving the plant an airy structure that is easy to control and produces denser buds when combined with mainlining and light lollipopping. My goal: a 6-branch structure, which may eventually develop a few side branches. To achieve this, two toppings a week apart and some serious LST are needed. I'll try to film the whole process, training sess by training sess, and post the results here in a few weeks. This was a pretty stable week. I finally moved my flowers to the new growing area I’ve created. It’s powered by Gavita Pro fixtures and Phillips mastergrow bulbs. They have been in here for about 3 days at this point. From now on my future diaries will showcase more plants, larger scale, but still with artisan minded craft. Excited for what the future will bring, almost as excited as I am to cut down these plants when they take on their fall colors over the next 3 weeks! I’m Expecting a harvest of 1-1/2 oz per plant, but may get more or less. Time will tell.

July 5 - The girls are still doing awesome. temps are between 21-26. Humidity is 40-50. Still feeding every 24-36 hours with 3L per plant. July 6 - They are doing good. Showing lots of flower sites now. Unfortunately I did not get any pictures today. July 7 - Tons of progress since last week. I don't see any signs of any problems, and still no pests! The smell is getting A lot stronger as it starts to flower more July 8 - Still doing there thing, no problems, temps and humidity is fine. Have been feeding every 24 hours now as they seem to be really thirsty July 9 - Super happy with how they are doing. No issues yet. Smell is heavier, and tons of bud sites showing up. Only issue is they are growing pretty uneven. July 10 - Time to get a even canopy! First time doing some HST. I also did some defoliation. One of the stems split open a bit but it seems to be doing just fine. I did he HST and defoliation in the morning, i then took pictures of 12 hours later and everything seems just fine! July 11 - Everything seems to be a lot more even and the broken stem doesn't seem to affect the growth.

Week 12 Day 79 Guys we started this week flushing our ladies until lowered ppm to optimum ppm Cant tell you how long it gonna take you but it took me a long time to finish each plant since you have to literally add 3 times the quantity of water that your pot can get and it takes so much time but it's worth it! Day 80 They're looking good and smelling awesome, couldn't finish flushing one of the ladies yesterday but managed to finish today and they're all happy! Day 81 Overall they're good can't wait for them only few days to harvest Day 82 End of week 12 Looking pretty good

Harvesting today

This week has gone great! At the beginning of the week we flushed the remaining Fox farm nutrients we had been using before with Sledgehammer. After we treated with an organic compost tea brewed by our local hydroponic shop. We started with the Cyco Platinum Series this week. It’s still a bit early to tell but we will see how this nutrient line performs. I am very optimistic. As you may be able to tell I have a reservoir with coco coir mix on top with a drip irrigation system. I’m going to be trying out this system and an ebb and flow system in the upcoming weeks. I’m looking to maximize quality and quantity and believe these two system offer some of the best results. We look forward to starting that project! As for the lady she is looking extremely healthy. She is recovering well from being topped and lst. We’re going to let her grow up a bit now and stretch her out across the first trellis. My experience says this should be in 2-3 weeks and the. We will let her grow up through the second trellis. All in all I believe I’m looking at a 7-10 week veg. My goal is to shoot for a minimum of 1.3lbs from one plant. Greetings my dear Jungletamers, So a major surprise came when @MarsHydroLED contacted us and asked if would like to try out their new SP 3000 light. Being a fan of Mars Hydro for years, we of course accepted their offer. We are totally in love with this light. I was when I saw it in another grower's setup and was in awe of its output and results. So with much pride and thankfulness for the presents the Universe bestowed on us, in the form of MarsHydroLEDS offer and the bountiful harvest of the last grow, (which I am thoroughly enjoying btw, such a great weed to have grown ourselves) we start out on a new adventure that we can't wait to share with you. With many lessons learned from the previous grow, a mighty producing strain in the form of Expert Seeds Gorilla Glue #4, a.k.a Expert Gorilla's and a tweaked super soil mixture, we are setting out to hopefully get over a gram per watt, preferably 1.5. The Setup A 4.5 (140 cm) x 2(70) x 6.2 (200) grow tent, giving me a .98 m2 workspace. This space is customized to my needs. A standing fan will provide airflow through the whole grow, a top fan will help guide cooler air past my lights onto the grow. 3 56 ltr pots will be the home for the plants when they are 2 weeks old, up to then in smaller jars. The Light The leading role and star of the show will be played by the Mars Hydro SP-3000, so kindly provided by MarsHydroLED, which we will test and review here and I might say, endorse. I'm very careful with who I endorse and support these days, but a company with that many wins in design, I'm talking ever since their first range came out in 2009 these guys have been raising the bar for the whole industry, I did not hesitate to support this leading brand. If you want to compete with these guys, you better bring some quality AND affordable pricing. Why do I endorse the SP-3000 without ANY hesitation? It is seriously THE BEST light on the market in this price range and size group. It has an enormously effective output in U/Mol and with 30% less energy waste comparing to older LED lights. Prove me wrong! And with a company holding a considerable market share selling thousands of units every month, competing on price and quality, one would think that customer service would suffer. Of course, also Mars Hydro is not perfect, but check the sheer amount of people that not only praise the light but also the service received, should the light somehow not perform up to par. Because of the great results, we are going to use the same recipe, adjusted some more with some new ingredients that will complete the mix and give an even more sustained super soil buffer. 20% Atami Bi-grow (very similar to ocean forest) 20% Atami worm castings 20% Atami Coco Coir 10% Hydrocorn 10% Peat powder 1 cup Fossil seaweed chalk 1 cup bonemeal 1 cup bloodmeal 1 cup Microlife 3-4 teaspoons of epsom salt 3 cups of activated biochar (activated with our own permaculture tea) I just made layers, starting with hydro corn on the bottom to aid airflow/run-off. On this I started layering the coco coir, Bi-grow, peat, castings, and amendments in a way that the more mature the plants get, the more phosphorous and less nitrogen they will find. Every time I made three layers, I would mix them by hand. This way we simulate natural soil, which consists of humic layers, composting plant waste, fungal and microbial life, and nutrients from fossilized sources. The Nutrients I will start with just adding 6.4 PH water, although this soil should buffer ph itself and regulate, after 4 weeks, I'll slowly be adding: - Biobizz Grow - Plagron Alga Grow - Biobizz CalMag - Biobizz Flower - Plagron Alga Flower - Biobizz Topmax - Melasses The Tea Some of you might remember the permaculture tea from my previous grow, I have a short video in my harvest page showing how we make it), it will star again in this grow. - (Rain)water - Comfrey (whole plants) - Dandelion leaves - Roots and leaves from the earlier grow - Minor periwinkle (Finca minor) is a plant we have in our garden, it contains an alkaloid that is associated with increased brain function but also is a light toxin for wee beasties and other unwanted guests like gnats (who hate it). - When flowering I add some wood ash to this mix Thank you for checking in on one of my grows again! 🗓️ Week 11 – Flower Week 7 (MAC n Cheese only) This week brought a noticeable shift: After raising the input EC to 2.0, runoff EC spiked to 2.2–2.6 – a clear sign of salt saturation in the medium. Despite that, pH remained stable between 6.2–6.3, and no visible signs of overfeeding or nutrient lockout appeared. 🔧 Adjustment planned: Starting next watering, EC will be reduced to 1.6–1.7 to rebalance the substrate and maintain nutrient uptake efficiency. 🌿 Current plant status: MAC n Cheese is looking incredibly strong – healthy, vigorous, and showing no stress despite the high EC in the runoff. Frost production is in full swing now, and the buds are packing on serious weight. 🧀 Visuals & Flower Development: The buds are massive, dense, and coated in a thick frost layer – already resembling little icicles. She’s maturing into something special. ❄️🔥

This plant is so freaking impressive. I'm really hoping the bud structure improves. Right now she's just kind of creating trichomes upon trichomes upon trichomes. It's like branches with trichomes and pistils. Some of the fan leaves are visibly covered in trichomes almost completely She's looking a little hungry for something. I'm thinking it may be low pk In the soil
