2024-08-31 They may have stopped to stretch, iam not sure, but i think so, you can see how the buds are forming, and they are already purple, thats fun leaves are changing color thats the tribute to the last 2 days where it was very hot and sunny, and tehy needed lots drinks and the big growth costed some leaves too. but anyways, not a Problem at all the Girl in the garden has more yellow leaves. BREEDER INFORMATION The cross of Frisian Dew with DucksFoot created Frisian Duck. It has such name due its characteristic leaf shape that looks like a duck's traces. The plant has a good growth in greenhouses and outdoors and also indoors. The strain is easy to grow and suit for begginers. It is harvested at the start of October outdoor and after 8 weeks of flowering indoor. The plant reaches 1.5 m indoor or 2.5 m in height outdoor. It demonstrates purple colors during a blooming and looks like a christmas tree. Frisian Duck develops compact buds. The strain has spicy aromas and tastes of pine, citrus and fresh wood.

Nothing but colas on all 3 this is going to be a big harvest. Another 2 or 3 weeks max.

First of all we had quite some rainy days, which is almost impossible as in July this didn't happened for years, but of course i plant something outside and it automatically needs to rain...😡 Then some stupid worms decided to build a colony inside the plant and screwed a couple of leaves, i killed them all for being disrespectful to my plant, that will teach them a lesson... As last we celebrated the plants birthday and threw some firework around the city 🤣😝 it was a nice party, the plant is still recovering from the party For the rest all good, more and more tricomes are appearing and in around 2 weeks we are harvesting 😁👌

First week of full flower, clear budsites and she’s stretch good! LST is really keeping all budsites relatively same size and all getting super purple/black

The plant on the right got chopped down the hairs were 90% dark brown while left was fully white last week when it got taken down it had only one day flush. This plant I will flush for a week and see which is better. It has decent size buds all the way to the bottom but this one growing still doesn't have as many crystals as the harvested plant which was definitely cut down way to early 😕 shame it must have forced to finish early from shock when I snapped a main branch clean off. This plant I will flush with plain filtered water for 7 days and even if it doesn't have as much crystals as the other plant, the bud size is 2x-3x the size of the plant that was cut down last week so I hope they will look a lot better size wise after they shrink when they are cut down and dried. I have also noticed some medium sized fan leads turning from green into a beautiful dark purple colour over the last 2-3 days slowly and it's spreading to other leaves the buds on this plant are also purple bits it's hard to see on here but looking sweet so far I have uploaded pic of the frost one which has been drying for a week now

Right from the bat this strain was awesome, I would recommend potting up these plants or just keeping in a smaller container, they really really like to be in a small pot. I have another clone of the big pheno in flower now in a 1gal with coco and she is taking off like crazy.

Week 6 was smooth. Especially after correcting the signs of deficiency. The plants have bounced back quickly after being fed and are thriving in the environment. New growth shows no new signs of deficiencies, and old growth did not get any worse. Luckily it was caught early enough and corrected. At the end of week 6 I continued to tie down shoots and continue the LST throughout the canopy. Light defoliation was also done around prime bud spots, and the lower skirt near soil. Technically also removing lower growth that won't amount to much, aka "lollipoping." Plan for week 7 is to continue to water when dry to a PH of 6.2-6.6 and LST with light defoliation where needed. Monitoring the environment and running dehumidifier to 45% RH. Fans are blowing and these seem like they will be big girls. These are some of the bigger autos I have seen personally. *UPDATE* One plant is showing nitrogen toxicity. Leaves are curling bad at top. I took her out and flushed her, as I may have built up too much with run off when fixing the phosphorus issue. Continue to monitor and hope it recovers quickly. But have also seen a lot of other grows with similar leaf traits with downward curls, might be genetics. None the less, will let dry and water thoroughly all plants next time with PH 6.2-6.5 water. *UPDATE 2.0" So the girls soil was not good. Turns out my calibration was off on pH meter and was flushing with around 7 pH water. Read the soils and one plant, that had the claw and dark leaves, was above 7.0 soil pH. Others were below but still a bit high. Have been adjusting pH of water to about 5.8-6.2 pH for next few to help lower it. One girl is not happy. We will get the train back on the rail though.

March 17 - 24 Growth is still going very well with lots of LST and defoliation. Business as usual with nutrients and the Blumat system seems dialed in a I prepare to leave them unattended for 5 days in April. Near the end of the week I installed a second net.

******** Week 10 - Feb 10 to 16/20 (Days 64 - 70 from seed popping out) It’s flush week so not much to update really. This week you anticipate the outcome with great hopes and also think about missed opportunities......no different here 😂 😂 😂 Last feed given last week. First good flush this week. I did not use any flushing agent with this girl. Want to get her natural taste and see what she can do on her own. The medium is pretty good with going into the week with a run of 900ppm. She is more dark on the bottom than I would prefer but it will be what it will be. Found an issue my pH pen this week and it will have contributed to some of the stresses this girl went through in recent two weeks. She picked back up this week and is taking roughly 2 days to work through 4L of water. Her run off by the end of the week was in mid 300ppm so we should be good with her feeding from her leaves. The top leaves are fading and giving a yellow with a slight purple on the edges. Combined with he red hairs and different shades in the bud and she is getting pretty🤩🤩 She is fading and looking more beautiful everyday! Will be pushing this girl and don’t anticipate chopping her down before next weekend.....want least day 75 to 77 idea.......see what the week brings. She has beautiful buds but they need more squishing and I want to ensure she can feed on herself as much as possible. I personally prefer the smoke from a plant flushed for two weeks, so that is the goal......only concern is what will happen to tricombs over the next four days or so???? She squished out bud very well over the weekend and has swelled quite a bit. She is getting fat and happy.......putting on the weight and frost this week girl!! Dropped the night temps to 60 degrees and the humidity to roughly 40% at night. Stripped more of her leaves this week. Some are still left where I don’t want to remove the leaves for fear of bruising the bud trying to get it off. 😧 She is such a dense bushy little girl!!! When you shake her and you feel how much she moves the pot you instantly smile👍😆👍 Again, trimming more lower growth on the main stems would have given her little extra to fill in the tops of colas even more.......next time👍 Crazy good genetics is what keeps going through my mind this grow.....impressed......I have to get more FastBuds in my seed collection!!! Little more detail......to come Feb 10/20 - Day 64 - her first flush after feed two days ago. - 6L water with Rezin & Liquid Weight @ 2ml/l = 100ppm and 5.8pH - runoff: 895ppm and 6.1pH. - Good looking numbers for two weeks flush. - no flushing agent used and she is not crazy for ppm in medium and she is not showing signs of toxicity. Feb 11/20 - Day 65 - Nothing today. Feb 12/20 - Day 66 - 2L water with Rezin @ 2ml/l and LW8 @ 1.5ml/L = 75ppm and 5.95pH - her tops appear to be mainly bud now. Not many sugar leaves pointing out anymore. Feb 13/20 - Day 67 - 2L water with Rezin & LW8 @ 2ml/l = 80ppm and 6.15pH - been cool in tent last couple of days......slowed down a bit. Feb 14/20 - Day 68 - Nothing today. Feb 15/20 - Day 69 - 3L water with Rezin & LW8 @ 2ml/l = 100ppm and 6.1pH - Her claw is coming out more. Could she be root bound? - Light is at 18', pH is inline, same when medium is dry and wet, nitrogen hasn't been too excessive?? crazy week found drain gnats which explains the green hue of some of my plants the larve are attacking the roots raising the p.h. and the diffecencies are showing in the leaves being lighter and or brown dots on the leaves. using mosquito dunks and spraying neem oil washing the roots to help these ladies out. also im doing things different with the soil vs dwc, i havent done much if any defoliating with potted plants just letting them grow only mainlined once and since in flower very light if any defoliating. any questions comments information feel free to ask or inform im open to critque
