Day 50 and the plant seems to be growing healthy even though it's not stretching much my understanding is that this type of strain it is slow-growing type and require more of vegetable time than others plants flower seems to be developing fine but because there is a large difference in height between this girls and the other girls of my tent I had to introduce a regular light bulbs in there to try to address this not sure how is going to turn out but definitely I need more light in there and with the shut down everywhere not many places to Source out new equipment so have to do new ways to make it happen. Day 52 the plant seems to be responding well to the light bulb as well I how to do a little bit of defoliation to try to promote more light in there it is a very bushy plant. This cycle was all along a great pleasure. The plants developed MUCH BETTER THAN EXPECTED, the result under the Q6W-Gen. 2 LED lamps from SANlight is FANTASTIC. I have NEVER harvested more from plants of the same strain under HPS and the quality of the bud (trichomes, taste aroma) is MUCH BETTER when grown under LED, my decision is definitely made, I will continue to solemnly grow with LED-lights in the future. I harvested 2250 gram of Shiva Skunk and 3009 gram of Serious Kush, that a total amount of 5259 gram. In relation to the 3000 Watts (incl. dimmed part!) power of the LED-lights thats an AMAZING 1,753 gram per Watt.

Week 2 plans are to water when dry between 6.2-6.6 PH, as nutrients are organic slow release. Plan is to also keep light height around 36" to allow some plant stretching. Environment 50-55 RH, temps around 23C. Making sure to water bottom of fabric pots to encourage lower soil to be moist for root development. Update pictures as week goes along, ladies seem happy so far.

Week 9

Overall this week was very steady! They drank a lot, between Sat-Sat I had to fill res twice. I think my res is 50L, so they went thru 100 L (or so) in a week. Or about 2L per plant per day! Probably on Tuesday, I might defoliate again. It's a pretty solid sea of green, but there is a lot below canopy and these are Autoflowers, So I will promote the Larf growth, to use in edibles etc. Generally I try to avoid defoliating into flower, but desperate times! Haha The interesting thing is, when I look at my week to week data, I can see as the canopy thickened, the overall temperature of the Tent went down, then stabilized at about 24c. So to me, that indicates the canopy is absorbing much more energy than previously (avg was 27.5c). So what use to raise the tent by 3c, is now going right into the Plants. I'm very hopeful about this run! :)

Been a good week gonna try up ppm a little...been getting little ph drop and don't have any root issues..... so think they are hungry..also maybe a little magnesium deficiency on back plants so might add a little epsom salt see how that turns out...
