This week was a tough one because we were not prepared for the heat and lack of clouds/rain that we were going to get. After the rain from last week died down the plants had a chance to get some raw sunlight. This was great but the temperature of the greenhouse did soar and the 'windows' could only do so much. PLUS there was barely any wind. We had to leave the Ghouse door open during the day but at night when the temperature dropped we closed it. The girls were doing great and you could tell who really loved the nutrients and who didn't... I recommend leaving ghte nutrient until the plants have at least three sets of leaves each, not including the initial sunleaves that will eventually die.

the Germination process was very easy and had no problems to sprout in paper towel. After she first touched water it needed 5 day to get root and open shell with her tiny white baby leaf and next I put it in to the pot in coco coir it was already watered and i just put the cup on top next day she was fully green and strong stem with little hairs <3

Hello Growmies, As we round up week 5 with our Watermelon Candy F1 Hybrid by Zamnesia, the growth has been nothing short of impressive. The choice to employ low-stress training (LST) rather than topping has paid dividends, with the plants responding well to the gentle guidance of their growth, seamlessly integrating into the SCROG setup. This method has allowed for an even canopy spread, optimal light penetration, and air flow, which is critical for the health of the plants and ultimately the yield. Observing the Watermelon Candy's development, we see a testament to our cultivation methods. The vibrant green leaves reaching skywards, the sturdy stems, and the strategic placement of each branch in the SCROG—every detail points towards a successful vegetative phase. In terms of environmental control, we've applied the lessons learned from our other strains, maintaining a stable and ideal VPD during the day with the Tent-X system. The nights, however, have brought forth the same challenges we've faced with other strains, showing fluctuations in VPD levels. The integration of the Smart Mars Hydro fan into the Tent-X system is anticipated to solve this, and we are optimistic that this change will bring about the consistent conditions needed for the Watermelon Candy's continual thriving. Even with the small hiccup in the nighttime environmental control, the plants are flourishing. The robust health they exhibit is a sign they're ready for the flowering phase, and we expect nothing less than a bountiful harvest. And while we've experienced a bit of frustration with Secret Jardin and Mars Hydro for the integration challenges, we appreciate TrolMaster's efforts to assist. We are hopeful for a resolution soon, or we may revert to the reliable Prima Klima setup. Getting there... cant wait for Spring Walls are up and painted, floor is laid, electrical all done, exhaust outlets mounted. Ive started to install the trim - I decided to put a grey stain instead of boring paint on the floor trim boards. Looks really solid against the dark bamboo floors. I used two gallons and two coats of flat pure white paint for walls and ceiling. Should give me a reflectivity somewhere around 80%. Some may ask why not opt for mylar? I just dont like the look. I dont care too much for reflectivity, as I will be well above the required watts/sqft with the light setup I will be using. I mounted an electrical receptacle in the ceiling, I thought it may come in handy for cord management. Im going to mount the 3 x meanwell drivers outside of the grow room and run some extra long cables to them. This is to keep heat out of the room, any little bit helps. Will be running a 8inch fan with about 750 CFM in order to properly vent the room. Intake will be a door vent and the negative pressure the fan provides. Odor is not too much of a concern, but may as well add a carbon filter. Week 1 Day 3- 8/14/2023 Everything is right on track, they are looking beautiful and in the praying postition all leaves happily lifting towards the light. Week 1 Day 4- 8/15/2023 Looking beautiful today and looked like she could use her first haircut.. gave her a TOP off. Roots are laying in the water everything is looking right on track.. Week 1 Day 5- 8/16/2023 walked in and the humidity was under 60.... ohh noooooo.. So I added 2 humidifiers to the tent and attached them to my InkBird controller which is set to 62. She had roots nicely in the water.. this grow is on!!! Week 1 Day 6- 8/17/2023 Humidity was a little low this morning, so I refilled the humidifiers. Other than that, the temp looks great, the PH looks great, the PPM looks good the plant is in the praying position and all damage from the little drowning seems to have been fixed. Happy Happy. Week 1 Day 7- 8/18/2023 Yay.. week 1 in the books, roots in the water growth has started first hair cut given and both side nodes are growing. Everything is looking good and on track.. A lot better than week one of the last grow when I had them drowning week 1. Really excited on how this grow is going to come out.

Seit dem Einschalten des Lüfters haben die drei gut 20l Wasser verbraucht. 😅 Sie wachsen so unglaublich schnell, dass sie in drei Tagen fast die LED berührt haben. Dadurch leichte Verbrennungen an den Spitzen der Lava Cake. Viel höher darf die Runtz nicht werden, sonst muss ich die Spitze nach unten binden. Das Zelt ist nur 180 cm hoch. Der Lüfter des Filters läuft jetzt schneller mit 50% Leistung. Die Luftfeuchtigkeit lag heute bei 75% und musste aus dem Zelt. Das führt aber auch dazu, dass die Wärme abgesaugt wird. Wird Zeit, dass es draußen konstant wärmer wird. 03. Mai 2025 Die Lüftung habe ich über den Trenntrafo wieder eine Stufe langsamer gestellt. Aber auch vorher lag die Temperatur nachts bei 22°C, also alles im grünen Bereich. Licht: Eine der zwei Sanlight S4W strahlt exclusiv seitlich auf die Runtz. Normalerweise würde ich das nicht so machen, aber die Runtz wächst sehr luftig und hat sehr großen Abstand zwischen den Blättern. Sie sieht gesund aus und wächst gleichmäßig. Die Rückseite der Pflanze zeigt keinen Lichtmangel durch unsymetrisches Wachstum. Eine Beleuchtung von oben wäre aktuell schlechter. Ich muss schon sagen, die Runtz überrascht mich immer wieder und ich mag das zwar hohe aber sehr luftige Wachstum! Die Sleepy Joe und die Lava Cake sind vergleichbar hoch und teilen sich die zweite Sanlight S4W. Auch ihnen geht es gut, etwas größer wachsende Pflanzen sind mir aber lieber. Wasserbrauch: Bisher 30l. Heute den kleinen Tank mit 20l Wasser inkl. 64 ml Canna Aqua Flores aufgefüllt. 34 ml pro 10l bei hartem Wasser gemäß Rechner von Canna. Beim letzten Grow habe ich noch pH-down verwendet, das ist laut Canna nicht nötig und funktioniert aktuell perfekt! Canna: "Es sind pH-Stabilisatoren enthalten die ein Einstellen des pH-Werts unnötig machen." Und sie sind nicht übertrieben dunkelgrün durch zu viel Stickstoff. 😱

Flush week, Finally through the worst of a nasty heat wave, getting some cooler night temps just in time. Trichomes are showing enough amber Im going to flush for a week or so. These buds have me excited as they are dense and juicy!! The smell has been intoxicating to say the least. Already calling this plant a %100 percent success regardless of issues or harvest or quality, simply based on the fact I just LOVED watching her grow and I swear, just being able to smell her on the daily for the last 6 weeks has really just been incredible…. Say what you want, hopefully she holds up on the smoke test but yea, that smell, I will miss it.

Leafs are not clawing now as much compared to last week
