Hey growmies, It’s been a while since my last update on the beautiful Frosty Tooth growing in my Minigrow One grow box. The reason for the delay? Growing in the Minigrow One is so smooth that I, as the grower, almost feel unemployed! Of course, I water her daily, but the highlight of my day is pouring the Plagron Alga Bloom into the watering can without spilling a drop 😂. As you can see, the plant remains beautifully compact and low – all without any help or LST! The lighting in the Minigrow does a fantastic job of keeping her wide and low. This week, I removed some of the large fan leaves at the bottom to make room, as there’s quite a bit happening under the canopy 😉. The side branches are developing wonderfully: low, sturdy, and perfectly balanced with the main cola. Over the next few days, I’ll remove another set of fan leaves, but for now, it’s really just a matter of sitting back and enjoying the view. Frosty Tooth is a beauty: healthy, with vibrant green, large, and strong leaves. I can’t wait to see the first “frosty” buds this lady will undoubtedly deliver! In terms of nutrients, she’s getting a daily mix of Sugar Royal, Alga Bloom, and Power Buds. Power Buds, in particular, worked wonders during my previous grows, producing dense, trichome-rich buds. I’m incredibly happy with Plagron’s organic nutrient line – it’s been absolutely spot-on. That’s it for now! Next time, I hope to show you the first buds forming. The Minigrow switched to the flowering phase yesterday. I extended the vegetative phase a couple of times to give her a bit more time, but now the moment has finally arrived ✌️🍀.

The Sensi Seeds Research breeding project has created eleven cannabis seed varieties. How? By combining new cannabis cultivars with a selection of strains from their long-established cannabis gene bank. For the first time in thirty-six years, they are opening the doors of the Sensi Seeds Research and Development Department. Week #5 Plants are doing well, there’s not much to do except to let them grow. Roots are filling the pots, I might transplant them in their final pots (18l) during next week. The Mars-Hydro SP250 has done a very good job during these 5 weeks. The plants need more space to grow, I will have to switch on the HID next week to give some more light coverage. Giving them a light feed during the week using Cellmax BIO 8-2-2 (not listed) and not Organic Grow ☝️ In my quest for plants science I have found something interesting about the Dr Cleve Backster 😊 but apparently controlled experiments that have attempted to replicate Backster's findings have failed... weird isn’t it ? 😳 (I’m looking for a job in the Cannabis industry as Master Grower, Mineralogist, Quality Control)

Day 141. Girl is thriving, but now nobody will close greenhouse for nights and watering will be very limited... In two weeks I am back and will give her all TLC she will want. She is the healthiest plant in all greenhouse ;) Happy Growing !!!

I should have had a lot better harvest but because I was away for 12 days the pH and ppm's got messed up. As well as 1 day of the air pump being off after I got back resulted in the start of root rot. Will grow this strain again for sure!

Heading towards day 14 now. I saw lots of stretch in the last week, I put up another net , single layer and the plants caught right up to it. Pistils are starting to set in.

Flowering day 18 since time change to 12 / 12 h Hey guys :-) The ladies have recovered well from the cold thanks to the heating mat and have developed beautifully 👍. During the check today I saw that despite spraying neem oil 3 times, there are still a few trips :-( . Now I've ordered nematodes again specifically against trips for leaf and substrate. I will use that immediately 👍. Watering was done twice this week, each time with 1.3 l (nutrients see table above) Next week I will remove the lowermost shoots so that the energy goes into the upper buds. Fresh osmosis water was mixed with tap water and put into the 100 liter tank so that the water can stand and I'll have enough next week :-) Otherwise everything was cleaned. Just on autopilot now, have only had to water once a week since transplanting to 7 gallon pots, but I expect that to ramp up soon as I crank the lights up to 100% on week 5 of flower. I was using the standard 12/12 but watched a video where Kevin Jodrey mentioned an 11/13 on/off cycle works out a little better for some strains. We're going to see what happens with that over the next two weeks and will likely finish it out on that cycle. I topdressed a little today with some supersoil and plan to incorporate molasses with my next watering just for a nice last boost for the next few weeks of flower before the fade. Fed once this week with a weak feed including top max. I use kombucha vinegar as pH down. Water from my tap is ph6.8-7.0 and 38-42ppm so I might start using calmag supliment as the ppm at my old house used to come out of the tap at ph7. 2 and 200-220ppm. I had 2 plants that didn't like the light at 30000 lux and started bleaching so I took them out. I've defoliated today day 35 as humidity was getting over 80% and also to let light to the lower bud sights. Pre flower pistils showed on some plants around day 33 (some still have none) so I'll consider this the end of veg start of flower. The kalimist indica pheno is still not showing pre flower pistils but is always hard to force flowering when it's not mature for some reason. It's always 7-14 days behind everything else 🤔

Day 33 she’s beautiful and flowering and wonderful. I’m really excited for how she’s turning out. I used recycled dirt for the first time ever because they were my last cycle for summer break. But she’s impressing me like always none the less. can’t not wait for her!

The Future #1 strain took to germination right away, was very flexible, and worked very good for SCROG. It produced heavy buds that are beautiful. Teh strain started very strong and grew excellent. The flowers was super dense, very crystally and sticky. It will be very interesting to see how they smoke. I had some pH issues with my water supply which impacted the grow and this strain seemed to be more light sensitive compared to another Anesia strain right next to it. Wet bud weight is prior to trimming. The buds off of this plant were HUGE!!!! Wet weight - 58.8 oz prior to trim; 14 colas; Terps: White - 70%, Amber - 30% After 3 days of drying, took them down to trim for my jars. Dry weights into jars: Future #1: 9.06oz I did pull them after a day to dry rack them for 12 hours due to a little bit higher moisture content then I would have liked (+70%rH). Re-jarred on 6/1/23 and now holding steady at around 60% rH. Cure Check In: 6/10 - 6/12/23: rH ~ 63 - 66%. Daily air exposure & fanning. Very smelly. Looking good - another couple weeks and will be ready.

Week 5 veg - clones and Week 3 - Blueberry Cupcake (Humboldt Seed Co.) and French Macaron (TH Seeds) from seed. G-41, Frosty Gelato, and Frozay Gas topped with 2 clones each taken from cuttings to propagate placed in 2x2 clone/seedling tent with low LED lighting. Temps in low 80F w/60% ROH. Clone cuttings covered with sandwich bags used as humidity domes. After taking cuttings transferred G-41, Frosty Gelato, and Frozay Gas to 3x3x6 AC Infinity tent under Mars-Hydro FC-E3000 set at 50 percent power (PPFD range for veg). Black Cherry Gas clone, Blueberry Cupcake, and French Macaron from seed remain in 2x4x5 AC Infinity under Spider Farmer SF-2000 with dimmer set at 50 percent power (PPFD range for veg). Continued twice weekly IPM foliar treatment with Organishield as well as watering soil program (SP).

Been a busy week, everything is looking good I still have 1 that is behind and still recovering. Potted into 6.5L pots. Vpd is in range but does fluctuate. Gonna back the EC off a little as i find it to be high in nitrogen in places I don’t like doing plain watering so I shall lower the ec and do a little extra run off Midweek so some good recovery from transplanting everything looking good still environment perfect backed off the nutrients added a water butt and and air pumps to the room. Later week update, all these ladies are thriving in there environment really healthy plants, I need to get rid of the shite from the early growth when they were fresh cuttings now. The branching has exploded now these girls take about a week from topping to get back to full growth rate under these led lights other than that all good. 🌱
