Spend the day in my veggie garden working. In the evening I brought some 🐞for Tropicana because I spottet a few lice. My mood changes drastically as I find spider mites eggs, first and second stadium. Don‘t overthink that and decide to defoliate the plant immediately. I prepare a tee out of the leaves which brings fast relaxation. My mood is much better now. Day 37 In the morning with better light I find more spider mites and decide to wash the plant with rainwater. Can‘t find after any more of these little killer dwarfs. I decide to bring more beetles and check the leafs more often. Temperature is felling under 20 degrees, it‘s raining and the humidity is 87%. Day 38 In the early morning I couldn‘t find any mites on Tropicana. Got to continue controlling this in the next weeks regular. I‘m sure they are still there somewhere hidden in a dark spot. 🌦️ 13 - 21 degrees and humidity is around 60-70%. Day 39 🌦️🌧️ Very rainy day. Just let Tropicana enjoy life and tie down the top one more time. 🐞 stay since some days. One on every plant. I think the mites are a result of their start inside and no hygiene at all. Have the same with my peppers some years. 14 - 21 degrees, humidity around 84% Day 40 🌧️☁️🌤️☀️15 degrees, humidity 83% We listen to Roots Reggae, Tropicana is happy and quite busy with producing new roots, I guess. Mar 24: Watering till runoff now... runoff ppm was 2500+... Will be using very mild nutes to flush over 1 - 3 feeds... or until I am near my input. Mar 26: Continuing to use 650ppm feed with bloom focus, 2L per plant gives 15% runoff... Runoff ppm is still very high... I wanted to check pH of runoff but the color is so vibrant i cant use the pH drops to view color, need to get a pH probe. Plants are thriving, no issues at all. the extra fan fixed the post-water droop. One plant is bushy and has the most bud sites, One is the smallest but has the most uniform structure, this one has the biggest buds and thickest stalk, One is about in the middle of the 2. Mar 29: one of these girls gets droopy early when its time for water, thought the canopy was too high so i tied down some more, no cigar... gonna try increasing calmag, if that doesent work im going to reposition in the grow box to a side instead of middle, may not need the upper end ppfd...

Well, I am not so afraid of heavy defoliation any more. 😁 I can already see the benefits. I do have to be careful when reaching in to apply bondage or make adjustments. I unfortunately lost some buds. This speaks to early training, and earlier pruning. I will plan to have better access to each branch. No mold, roots are happy. The smell in there is spicy floral and dank, almost rotten. My filter is old, and not suited for the high cfm needed to keep the heat down. My ONA bucket is also a bit old. I will have to give that room a periodic ozone blast.

This week has been one of great gains in both size and vegetation we have seen a vertical leap in two plants that is astronomical almost 4 inches in a week! Had to do some pruning to expose new bud and a little bit of low stress training on to plants to see if we can expose light to the underside and perhaps get a little more love out of our lower buds The stalk size on almost all of these plants is almost as big as your thumb but on one it is actually relatively skinny that is the one we’re doing the low stress training on we just started the low stress training and it is taking very well to it One of these plants is extremely dark in color on the vegetation and has typically about 11 fingers per leaf! Not sure what that means yet

Day F79 and the momma gets the chop. Kind of a sad day, I really did enjoy growing this strain. The mother proved to be a beast at chop time, looks to be 5 oz+ of beautiful purps and crystals. Will grow this strain again and have sent some of the genetics across the country and across the border for other Growmies to enjoy.

Had a bit of a cat-tastrophy this week. I left my tent open to go and fill a bucket of water, came back and zipped it up. What I didn't know is that the cat got in. Not 5 minutes later I can hear all sorts of shit moving around so I came in to find I had zipped him and and he went bonkers and bent almost every branch on the Skunk. So I had to do emergency tie jobs, but I ended up losing 2 medium colas and 1 small one. Could have been much worse if the skrog net wasn't there to stop them from snapping. Injuries look like bent plastic straws, so I'm going to be watching her closely to see if she herms from that massive amount of stress. Some of the pics have cat hair in them, thank the little brat. Anyway, Skunk is a 45-50 day finisher so I'm going another week and then she gets the chop. Lots of microscope videos today and finally found an amoeba. Also something moving in an egg...what is it? That's at 400x so I think it's a nematode egg based on what I found online. If you look closely at the super zoomed in trichome shot, you can see the reflections of other trichomes...just fucking epic.👏 All the food stops now, too much in the soil for her to start senescence. Nothing but water and FFJ now. New pistils are still coming in so who knows, maybe she'll keep going a few more weeks.

Last big shot of orgatrex+bactrex done, now first watering and spraying with PK Booster Compost Tea (15g/L) + Orgatrex (5mL/L) +Bactrex (1g/L). 2 retarded plants seem to finally flower, so I removed all stunted leaves and I'll keep them on vegetation feeding with boom boom spray for the moment (one of them is huge, will have to move it out of the tent or cut it a bit). The 4 others are fine : there are 2 phenos (2 plants are small with big short buds and 2 others are tall with long thin buds). There we go, it‘s week #10 with Skunk #1 and these beautiful pictures. The EC is at 2.0 and the ph at 5.8... let’s see them still growing in the last 2 weeks. Njoy! Day 64: New pictures online! EC is going up every day just like ph. Problem today is the heat! The water in the tank has exceeded 25°C and the temperature is not going to be cooler in the next week. That is why I added Purolyt. To prevent the water in the tank from getting algae and other sh*t. 😎 Day 65: Maybe it was too much Purolyt yesterday or the plants just give away all the leafes that are not in the light. Have to check tomorrow with lights off if something went wrong. Put 10liter pure water into the tank and ph'ed down. Day 66: I know the water in the tank is too warm with 26° C. I will have to solve this problem. (I think I will use icecubes or something like that) But the flowers look pretty good. They stand the heat better than we do.(35° C outside in the city!) Day 67: Still problems with the water temperature in the tank. Put an ice pack inside to get the temp down. Won't be helping long but for a moment. Day 69: Still problems with the hot summer. Heat is up to 31,2° C but the plants seem to like it. Water temp went down to 24.4° C after refilling 10l pure water. After that I checked the EC which is at 1.86 and ph'ed down to 5.6 Planning to harvest soon, maybe in one week, what do you guys think? The white spots in the blossoms are burned blossoms that contains no thc or cbd. It looks like an albino flower to me. 😌 I can't avoid them because the tent is too low.

Continuing to use nutrients from 9 days ago. Mostly added back water to the tank to reduce the EC, as it was too high in my opinion. Going to try and milk another week out of the nutrients in the tank at the moment, as there are no obvious signs of deficiencies to note. As you can see, I have opted not to defoliate at all for this grow. So far I have only cut off two leaves just so I can get to my filler cap easily. I am doing a little supercropping here and there to level up the canopy. In just over a week they have grown from 51 cm to 93 cm. So a good 80% increase in height. An average of 2 inches of growth per day. If they grow similarly to my last crop, they should have just under 2 weeks stretching left to do. Happy new year!

Day 7 of flower. Cleaned up some of the lowers realized the strip is gunna be miserable. Put a humidifier in each tent so I can run the co2 with the exhaust low without getting the condensation. The trop juice 4 in the back right of the 5x9 is gunna be a monster.

I decided to spend the weekend looking for a good Co2 generator setup. It was quite easy to get it running. All you need is two containers, tubing, yeast, sugar, and warm water. Now I'm just waiting to see how long it will last before I have to refill it. Then I tied it off on the hooks loosely so I can still adjust it. Just for good measure I raised the light a few more inches to keep it about a foot distance.
