Today the girls are 17 days old and are looking great and growing fast. I performed LST last week for the first time, i decided to get rid of the bend and let them grow upwards. Im currently bending the branches to encourage them to grow outwards. I also use the ponytailing technique. By tying the uppergrowth in a ponytail 5 hours a day you maximize the light penetration. I repeat this process 3 to 4 days in a row The girls had their first feeding of Canna Terra Vega at 0.5ml p/L and are loving it so far.

Esta semana aplique la tecnica lst. Hubiera preferido hacerlo antes pero estaba esperando por que antes queria trasplantarlas. Pero no he podido comprar macetas, ni el medio de cultivo. Entonces decidi hacerlo en las macetas actuales para comenzar a guiar la planta, ya que va creciendo muy rapido. Junto con la tecnica lst tambien hice defoliacion a todas las plantas. Comence a regar con fertilizante en polvo Green House para la etapa de vegetacion. Uso 0.5g / 1L . Ocupo unos 2L para regar cada planta.

Para empezar es buena variedad un poco tardía de lo que dicen pero me encantó cultivarla , aún con la plaga de trips que sufrí las 2 últimas semanas aguantaron y sacaron unas flores alucinantes. Las flores aparte se ven resinosas. La planta pues si creció vigorosa , no tiene mucho satélite es más porra central. a sido una genética con la que disfruté bastante, no fue muy complicada cultivarla. They survived another week. Lowered the temp to 72 for the remainder of the grow. Wanting to see if it adds anything to the flavors and aroma. Just going to keep the juice pumping until they dont want anymore.

Well it turns out those little white spots were a leading sign of spider mites. I loaned my loupe to my buddy and don't like trying to use my hand microscope directly on a plant so I did some minor surgery for inspection... and there's Nothing creepier than seeing little mites scurrying around on your babies. Pisses you off too. 😡 So we made a trip to the local hydro store and my friends there recommended Plant Therapy. https://www.lostcoastplanttherapy.com/ This stuff looks Way safer than some of the alternative products. In fact, it turns out Azamax from General Hydroponics (which this same local hydro store had sold me a year or so back) can no longer legally be sold so they removed the product. Anche stavolta provo questa Tecnica, quello d'infilzare alla Base del tronco con degli stuzzicadenti. Prima incido con un coltellino la base del tronco da dividere le due parti, poi successivamente infilo degli stuzzicadenti, (alcuni Growers, che hanno un bel tronco largo, ho visto che ci infilano un bastoncino-le bacchette cinesi) da mantenere separati le due parti. Questo dovrebbe comportare un aumento di resina sui calici e anche di volume. Boh speriamo.... Domani 21/06/2021 Farò un altra pulizia delle Radici(Acqua Flushing) da ridurre drasticamente l'EC(da ricordarsi che l'ultimo risciacquo era circa 2000 EC- pH circa 6)

So heres the heavyweight Fast and vast. Id say im abit disappointed for the false advertisement on the heavyweight seeds range. It states that in good conditions the plants will be ready in 8-9 weeks with outstanding yileds. But fingers crossed, i cant talk big. Never know what these will produce! Hey now, hope everyone is well, this week went pretty good, both Glueberry OG Autos sprouted, and look good for a week in. They are currently in Pro-Mix seedling starter mixed with perlite but will be transferred to Coco Coir/Perlite as soon as their roots fill up the solo cups. I have grown seedlings in Coco Coir many times but I prefer to start them in ProMix because as there are no nutes in coco, you have to start with tiny quantities of nutes and work them up each feeding, and seedlings can be very finicky to EC/PH etc., and some strains can even be much more so than others. With Pro Mix, there is enough nutes for the first several weeks so I just give them water with a plastic syringe every 2nd or 3rd day. I have found that starting seedlings in Coir doesn't really produce a big advantage (at least for me) but her time in Coir will come. A couple things I also do is make sure to go by container weight above all else to know when to water. It is very easy to overwater seedlings and drown them, as I did when I first started. The other thing is I just lightly water around the very edge of the cup, to prevent drowning the roots, and also to force them to work their way out to the edges of the container instead of straight to the bottom. I started prepping a few bricks coco for this grow last night, I am re-using the coir from my last grow. I flushed it down to .4 EC and I currently have it soaking in a Cal Mag solution of 2.0 EC. I will let it soak for a few days then flush it again back down to around .4 EC. This is important to prevent cal mag deficiency down the road. To flush I just use a garden hose and a couple of saw horses with a 2X4 running through the handles of some fabric pots filled with my coir. It makes it easy to flush, and also easy to catch runoff underneath and measure the EC. I inspected and tested 2 of my drainage system this afternoon as I always test them outside with a few gallons of water before I set them up in the tent. Not much to do this week but hand water them every couple days, and hopefully by next update one of them will be ready or damn near ready for her final home which will be a 5.4 Gallon Airpot. I will be giving the other away to a friend to see what he can do with it. Once in her final home she will get fed 4x per day, and the runoff will go to my tomatoe plants outside which will also be in coir. I am super excited to crank this Medic Grow Spectrum X up and see what she can do. I am currently running her at 30% which is about 230 watts. I will be adding more seedlings to the tent here shortly to try and fill her up, but I started with the longest autoflowers and am trying to time them so they are all ripe within a relatively close time frame. The plant's buds are showing more pistils, and the aroma has become quite fragrant, a creamy scent. Trichomes are now visible on the leaves. There hasn't been any significant increase in fertilizer this week; I've only doubled the amount of fermented banana peel liquid. I also did some foliar feeding with a light spray of fermented banana peel liquid. The daytime temperatures are very hot, and the humidity is low. I've noticed a few whiteflies, but the plant's strength is good, so it's not a major issue. Airflow is also good, being outdoors. The UV index has been between 7 and 8 this week.
