Day 29 – Holding Strong Indoors While Awaiting the Sun After two bright and sunny weeks, the UK weather has taken a turn—temperatures have dropped and grey skies have taken over. For the second day in a row, the plant has remained indoors on the windowsill, patiently waiting for the return of warm, sunny conditions. Despite the limited direct sunlight, the plant is showing steady vertical growth and structural development. The inter-nodal shoots are beginning to stretch confidently, and the canopy is broadening out with healthy fan leaves. It’s clear that the root zone is well-established, as no wilting signs appear and the medium remains nicely moist—no need to water for now. While it may seem like a temporary pause in outdoor activity, this rest indoors is helping the plant conserve energy and avoid potential stress from fluctuating cold and wet conditions. Once the weather stabilises again, it’ll be back to soaking up real sunshine. Observations: Location: Indoors (windowsill) due to cool outdoor temps Temperature: Noticeably lower; unsuitable for outdoor stay Soil: Moist, no watering needed Growth: Internodes extending, foliage thickening Patience remains key, and this CBD Auto 20:1 continues to impress with its resilience. Day 32 – Stretching Skyward with the Sun After a few overcast days indoors, the sun is back—and so is our CBD Auto 20:1, basking once again in full-spectrum natural light! The shift outdoors today was met with bright, clear skies and a lovely warm breeze. The plant is thriving in these ideal spring conditions, showing confident vertical growth and a strong central stem that’s gaining both height and girth. The leaf spread is wide and lush, with healthy serrated edges catching the sun from every angle. What stands out now are the multiple lower branches developing evenly—clear signs that this plant is preparing for the flowering transition in the near future. It’s rewarding to witness how much energy the plant can absorb on days like this. The outdoor environment clearly encourages a more upright and assertive growth posture compared to the last couple of indoor days under diffused windowsill light. We’ve entered a new chapter—today marks the visible appearance of pistils, signalling the official start of flowering! This beautiful CBD Auto 20:1 from 420FastBuds.com has been developing steadily, and it’s been an exciting journey transitioning it from indoor windowsill care to full outdoor exposure. Last night’s rain disrupted my plans to leave the plant outside overnight, but perhaps that was a blessing in disguise—timing and adaptation still matter. Today, however, the sun is back in full swing, delivering strong warmth and excellent light. The super soil is doing its job wonderfully, holding moisture and nutrients efficiently. The plant is clearly enjoying the rhythm of nature. Growth has stretched upwards significantly since the last few days, and side branches are expanding too. Unlike in a tent where watering might happen every 1–2 days, this outdoor grow has taught me the art of patience—watering is done only when the soil truly dries out, which depends on weather, sun, wind, and positioning. Day 35 – Settling Under the Open Sky This CBD Auto 20:1 lady has now officially begun spending her nights outside under the open sky. So far, I haven’t felt the need to cover her, and she’s handling the shifting weather conditions with impressive resilience. Some nights are slightly cooler, but the days bring back that familiar warmth – and she clearly loves it. Her structure is becoming more defined, with side branches now fully visible and stretching confidently towards the light. Since she’s grown outdoors from the beginning, the natural rhythm of sun and wind has made her strong, well-adapted, and noticeably more robust than my previous indoor tent grows. It’s truly fascinating how dynamic and engaging outdoor growing can be. There’s a deeper connection to the process – monitoring the skies, respecting nature’s timing, and witnessing each subtle change. Plus, it’s certainly a more economical setup! The pistils are now popping with greater clarity, signalling the transition into flowering. It’s incredibly satisfying to watch her shift gears and get ready for her next stage of development. My super soil continues to do all the heavy lifting – no feeding schedule, just pH-balanced water when the topsoil is dry, which depends entirely on whether she’s basking outside or sitting in the shade indoors. Getting ready to flip to flower in a week or two with some trellis work. I should've shaved the legs of these ladies but I was unprepared for clones this week so I'll probably shave them this weekend. I'm happy with the results thus far. 🎋🌲🍃

Hey there, as the clones are almost ready and I will transplant them in the aeroponic system tomorrow, I allowed myself to get the pH and EC ready and stabilize it over a night. 😏 August, 20th: 23 of the 30 clones made it to the system and are now growing fine. Guess those 7 clones that didn‘t make it were old ones from below the mother plant. SanLights at 40%. ☀️

Wow it’s coming to an end soon she has gotten so much bigger she is the last one in her tenet. Soaking in all the light she is showing signs of fading. No food just water this week.This was the last feeding for sure here last run from here on out only 6.5 PH water temperature been little higher due to her being the only one in the tent.

These girls are begging for the fabric pot. I noticed the curling of the leaves.

Wow I'm in bud heaven. Both plants are doing good especially#2. # 2 is absolutely stunning, covered in frost and getting very chunky buds. Her growth has been spot on since germination. She has displayed good hybrid vigor and in honest opinion Barney's farm has nailed it on this genetic masterpiece. #1 is now stacking very nice flowers as well being that all her troubles are gone thanks to a couple of good flushes and some fresh organic amendment. Her flower structure is very different from her sister, more polyploid than than the traditional structure. I have to admit that she is becoming a very beautiful specimen of a cannabis plant. CHEERS!!!

Alright grow cycle, mistakes, improvements, etc... She did stay in veg for too long, her growth was slow and not the best and so she took quite long, next time i'll be there from the beginning so I can take care of her throughout. But her growth is really fun. It is a tall growing sativa with fairly tight noding when trained accordingly, producing long filled colas. The buds grow fairly dense and fluffly but do air out a little when dried. Trichome production was pretty impressive as well as terpene production. She had thrips since her early days but did not seem to mind them at all. I did spray them initially but once flower started I stopped. I believe predatory mites might have been feeding on the pupae in the soil, if that is what this specific species of thrips did, the reason I say that is I could never see adults only larvae. Whatever the case maybe they were there but the population never really increased. Something I did not mention during the grow is that those plants were played music during the days, music that is apparently developed for plants. The 10L pot was WAY too small for a true sustainable living organic and to provide enough space for the plant, that was a mistake, I'd say a 20L would be the bare minimum and still. The bigger the better. The hempy transfer did not hurt the plant and I believe even helped to some extent, BUT, I am still running test on the subject and so can't confirm anything, here are my observations Roots did not colonize the perlite, a little on top and the sides but that was it, I was expecting to see a big root mass in there. I believe hempy are great for salt fert as it hold a soup of nutes where the plant can feed from since the coco only holds very little Whereas in nature most nutrient are in the top soil where the highest amount of decomposition happens, this is where the highest microbial activity happens and so where the plant will find food. Living organic is trying to reproduce nature and so there is no need for the plant's roots to gather at the bottom of the pot. Although it could have potentially provided the plant access to a larger amount of water and possibly more oxygenation of the pot. Those are all theories, please speak up if you have other proofs. In conclusion , unless i get proven otherwise by someone or my latest running experiment , I will not be using hempies again as I believe it brings more complication and issues than a simple fabric pot. The lights, The 600w at the start was good, then I decided to add a 400w...😂 That was completely overkill and not necessary. Waste of electricity. And they started suffering from too much light it seems at some point, I raised the light by a good 30 cm and they were fine. 600 is more than enough. I am happy about how the soil performed but it has room for improvements. As for the watering technique I have been watering large ammount every few days, next time I will be giving constant small amount of water each day and a soak every week or so, I believe the soil might perform better under those conditions. She was also an easy plant to harvest whit her long colas which had very little foliage, I do trim in excess as I like my buds extra clean but the buds are not excessively bushy. The trims were use to make some bubble hash, around 100g of wet trims yielded around 1.5-2g of bubble hash. I did add a negative effect but only because it wouldn't give me a smile otherwise, but to be honnest it barely dries your mouth. The soil is going to be recycled and reused in a next grow. I can't think of anything else at the moment but if you have any question don't hesitate.

The first official week of flowering is complete. During this phase, the plant showed a noticeable stretch and transitioned from a very compact structure into a more open, light-efficient canopy. At the beginning of the week, only a few tops were clearly defined, while most bud sites were still in early pre-flower stages. Over the course of the week, this changed significantly: multiple bud sites became active and started to develop visibly. The distribution of tops across the canopy is very even, which is a direct result of early training (topping + LST). Stretch averaged around ~1 cm per day, with a slight acceleration toward the end of the week. Current plant height is approximately 32 cm. Despite the relatively short overall height, the vertical growth of individual branches improved light penetration and overall efficiency. The structure remains compact but no longer overly dense. Internodal spacing is moderate, indicating a more indica-leaning phenotype. At the same time, the branches appear strong enough to support future bud development. The plant is responding well overall. After a brief adjustment phase (water/light changes), it has returned to active growth with healthy leaf structure. Leaf color is a consistent, healthy green with no visible deficiencies or signs of overfeeding. Actions & Setup: • Increased light intensity (prime position in the tent) • Light defoliation to expose bud sites • Nutrients still in transition phase (2-2-2 to 2-2-3.5 ratio) • Bud Candy introduced • Big Bud planned for next feeding Week Summary: A very solid first week of flowering. The stretch started slightly delayed but is now progressing well. With the number of bud sites and the even canopy structure, the plant shows strong yield potential despite its compact size. Focus for FW2: Maximize light utilization, introduce PK boost (Big Bud), and stabilize bud development.

This week things have stabilised a bit, my bigger humidifier came on D26, so hopefully that will help slow transpiration a little! Not really much to report, plants are growing okay, one of them is still struggling a bit, they’ve all been topped for the second time. As I have one plant per 4ft sq, I think I might only mainline to 4 mains, haven’t decided yet! Have bought a Torus Hydro PH balancer, will see if that helps with the PH swings going forward 🧐 Happy growing guys!

Ab ca Mitte der Blüte hebe ich den PH leicht an um die Nährstoffaufnahme von z.B. Mag zu fördern. Der Geruch ist extrem Süßlich! Vor allem beim Entfernen größerer Blätter haut einen der Geruch förmlich um. Sonst läuft der Grow recht Ereignislos weiter - es wird begonnen sich auf die Ernte vorzubereiten. Der Nachwuchs ist bereits im Anzuchtzelt. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Day 91 – Grow Day 36 – Flowering Phase: Today, another 25 liters were applied, with less than 1 liter of runoff — they are thirsty. As usual, the water contained only about 1.5 ml/L of Cal-Mag at a pH of 6.5. From around mid-flowering onward, the pH is slightly increased to support nutrient uptake, for example magnesium. The smell is extremely sweet — especially when removing larger leaves, the aroma is very intense. Otherwise, the grow is progressing without major events. Preparations for harvest have begun, and the next generation is already in the propagation tent.
