Well we finally reached the end. The last week was more cruise control. Just trying to remove the big fan leaves that's blocking any flowers. The trichomes looking kinda ready but still acceptable. During the last few days I maintained a daytime Humidity of around 60 and nighttime of 55. Temperatures are between 73 degrees and 67 degrees. Two days before chop they got 48 hrs of dark and 3 days of no water to add to the stress. After the 48hrs darkness all the ladies Came out extra frosty. Loving the change of hues on the blue gelato. The vanilla Kush is very oily and very very strong smell. Not a strong smell coming off the OrangeGelato though. The green gelato has a creamy smell.

Heeey guys! Me again! This week was full of surprises and one major mistake! Hahaha. First of all, the 4th baby is now at a decent size! This was a huge surprise! She's all grown up and looks gorgeous! I'm probably going to move her to a proper pot size so she won't feel trapped! I also need to trim her again! The other 3 are advancing at a proper speed. Max is the one who has responded the best to the main-lining and LST as she seems to have barely gone thru any kind of physical damage With Roko I made a huge mistake when I tried to bend her branches 😰 I broke her stem in the middle but managed to fix it on time I hope (first with tape and then with some soft wire). It seems one of her parts are getting more nutrients compared to the other one... but there's not a lot I can do if that's the case. The 3rd baby is the one who had not suffered any kind of mayor "nutritional" problem if you compare her to her sisters (leaf colors, and some browning at the tips. The other tho has gone thru those issues but her? Nothing!) So I'm expecting a lot from this one! I also made 4 timelapses! Right now I'm also debating if I want to mainline for 8 colas or just stay at 4. My tent isn't big (80x80cm or 2.6~x2.6~) so I need to choose quickly if I want to risk it with so many plants in such small space! Anyway, that's all for now! I hope you enjoy the photos and videos! We’ve made it to the beginning of the week four of veg with this baby. She’s just growing stronger by the day watering her twice a day once in the morning and once in the night .

While buds are well-developed and aromatic, pest pressure from thrips and aphids reached a level that would likely destroy the plant if left for another 2–3 weeks. To preserve quality and prevent further spread, the decision was made to harvest early and clear the space for the next run. ⸻ Harvest Condition: • Buds dense and covered in cloudy trichomes with ~15–20% amber • Aroma at peak—intense citrus-haze with earthy undertones • Sugar leaves showing late-stage fade, fan leaves largely yellowed • No visible bud rot despite pest presence • Damage from pests mostly on foliage, minimal on buds themselves ⸻ Reason for Early Harvest: • Rapid increase in thrips and aphid populations • Risk of pest spread to other plants in the grow space • Plant already in late senescence; continued flowering would add minimal weight but increase risk significantly ⸻ Post-Harvest Plan: 1. Drying in a controlled 18–20 °C, 50% RH environment with steady airflow 2. Cleaning & sanitizing grow space to remove pests before introducing new plants 3. Inspection & culling of any nearby plants showing early pest signs 4. Week 1 and the first round of testing for this recent new cross. The F1 generation of Northern Spice. Germination was a full 100% with varying degrees of development across 3 days in the towel. Oddly however, about half of the beans cracked the shell head first with their cotelydons. Stability is always suspect with F1s anyway, but this kind of sampling, this early is concerning somewhat. We’ll see where it goes. On another topic, we also made some big changes to the grow method this cycle. We’ve moved over to a grow system by the bucket company. Fairly similar to the Dutch bucket design, just without the small reservoir in each bucket that acts as an additional insurance policy. So far, she’s purr’n like a kitten👌. Strain details She’s a mix of a particularly strong Northern Lights, mixed with a Spicy Bitch sativa hybrid. The hope is that we’ll be able to combine the overtly narcotic effects in the NL and mellow it out somewhat with the quality daytime sativa effects found in the SB. Both strains feature numerous grower qualities. Both parents possessed vigour and resiliency, the SB particularly colourful in late flower.

Orion Organic. We are so close to being done. I was going to wait and see if the buds would bulk up in size a bit, but it doesn't look likely at this stage, so I am planning on harvesting this week. Hello growers, finally we have the harvest day. At the same time I have it after drying. Unfortunately I don't know exactly how many grams of dry matter I had because I did it for less than 3 days and I didn't have that much time and especially the conditions. Approximately what I weighed continuously, there were about 300-400 grams and I am satisfied with the first grow. During the entire growing process I had no problems and I am very happy about that. Day 10F-17F (Day 10F) Everything is looking on point. I’m going to soak in a gallon of lite compost tea diluted to 400ppms on each plant except for #5. I’m still a little worried I won’t make it through the stretch but at the same time I fear N toxicity just as much. I will give one more lite tea before the end of stretch, most likely at the end of this week. (Day 12F) Ladies responded nicely to the tea except for BBB#1. It just isn’t looking as vigorous as it was last week. It’s the only one without an air hose so I guess it couldn’t hurt to grab one. The air hose does without a doubt prevent overwatering in soil and I’m surprised I don’t see more people using it. It’s cheap, effective and gives me similar results to growing in pure coco. I’m going to give one more light foliar spray of 3ml of calmag, 3ml of kelp and 2.5ml of insect frass. (Day 14) Got the air hose hooked up to all 5 plants now. I hate that I’ve been forced to defoliate so much in early flower and it is definitely reducing bud size. Last round my bbb’s had pistil clumps twice the size at this time and they were dealing with severe deficiencies. I’m hoping it’s just genetics or the fact they are larger plants. (Day 15) I’m starting to see signs of N toxicity on the some of the new growth and overall growth on all plants except #1 has slowed. It was most likely caused by the foliar spray/tea combo. No more feeding anything for the next 12 days at least. Luckily it’s still pretty early in flower but I know that N tox can hit really hard after the stretch stops. I would be pretty upset if I vegged for 80 days only to get severe N tox in mid flower. Since it’s not breaking down in the soil, I should be fine. I’m going to defoliate some more of the large bottom fan leaves as they hold large reserves of extra nutes I don’t need. Hopefully these small defoliations aren’t stressing them at all. Next round I plan to do a big strip one week before flower, at transplant and a second big strip on day 21. (Day 17) I think I was over-worrying about the seriousness of the N tox. I’ve seen it hit very hard in mid flower and can’t be too careful. It’s almost always caused by water soluble nitrogen so I’ll try to stay away from that unless I absolutely need it. My case does not look to alarming just yet. I noticed the stunting on #3 right after that last tea so I am going to stop giving the last liter of compost tea because of how unbalanced and separated at the bottom it is. It sure helped out the other 4 plants that didn’t get the granulars from the bottom of the bucket. I‘m planning to give a bloom tea around day 26 and a final top dress a few days later. #1 has now out stretched everything else in the tent. I honestly was not expecting that. If #3 didn’t get stunted this whole week I think it would be the taller/heavier plant.
