Let's call it Fuego RSO.. 😎 you will need: 30g / 1 ounce trim or flowers, ground coarsely or blitzed 1 litre alcohol (better the expensive one which is food safe, butthen it would be nice to have a distiller to catch it.. so i take rubbing alcohol 99,9%) a cheap rice cooker, you need to be able to operate it with an open lid, and it needs to switch to keep warm function by itself! a USB cup heater a container for mixing the weed with the alcohol, made from ceramic or glass or something a stick for stirring a container to catch the green liquid (alcohol is magically dissolving many colors and other things so make sure you use the right materials here) a straining cloth, sieve, coffee filter etc to seperate the plant material from the green alcohol trichomes solution a scraper or spatula a heat proof glass to put on the USB heater for last finish a glass container or cyringe to store the finished oil some coconut oil and some small glass jars ° first you pour half of your alcohol over the flowers or trim and then stir for several minutes ° sieve the material, catch the green liquid ° put the material back into the bowl and mix with the other half of the alcohol, repeat ° put the minimum demanded amount of liquid in the rice cooker and switch on, stay there!!! keep the lid a bit open, this is really prone to catch fire now. i do it in the garden when it's windy.. Der KISS ist das Licht wohl etwas zu stark. Die obersten Blätter waren leicht nach oben gerollt und mir zu hell. Auch bei Lemon Orange konnte ich das beobachten, sobald der Abstand zur Lampe weniger als 40cm war. Ansonsten sehen die Ladies gut aus. Sonntag geht es dann wahrscheinlich in die Blüte.

🌿 Week 10 Update: Entering the "Bulking" Phase (Flower Week 5) We’ve hit a major milestone! The plants have officially finished their "stretch," and we are moving into the most exciting part of the cycle: The Fattening. 🛠️ The "Improvise & Overcome" Moment Sometimes in a grow, things don't go exactly as planned, and you have to know how to handle it yourself. I saw the colas getting too close to the LEDs and didn't waited for a disaster—and I took action and raised the whole tent. That’s the sign of a real grower: being able to adapt your environment to the plant's needs on the fly. By creating that extra headspace, i’ve protected the harvest from light bleaching and heat stress. 💎 What’s Happening Now: • Resin Explosion: This is the week where the "frost" really takes over. Trichome production is ramping up, and the scent is likely getting much more intensely i needed to add some silica. • Bud Architecture: The flowers are no longer getting taller; they are growing "out." They are filling in the gaps and becoming dense. • The PK Hunger: The plants are craving Phosphorus (P) and Potassium (K). ⚠️ Critical Checklist for Week 5: 1. Humidity Drop: RH between 40% – 50%. Dense buds trap moisture, and we want to keep mold (Bud Rot) far away. 2. Airflow: Since i raised the tent, i needed to make sure fans are repositioned to move air across the top of the canopy and through the middle. 3. Watering: They are thirsty! Keeping the moisture consistent, as even a short drought now can stress the production of essential oils. Hello growmies! Welcome to week four of An Epsilon Adventure! The girls are already transitioning into flower, I will get some photos of that later in the week. Daily Updates: ### Week 4 Day 1 11:00 16/7 Removed some lower growth. ### Week 4 Day 2 23:00 17/7 Tallest plants were showing signs of heat stress so I have raised the light about 30cm more. Unfortunately this now means the lower plants aren't getting as much light as they could, so I have put the cycle back to 20h (I may even increase it). ### Week 4 Day 3 14:00 18/7 Photographed. ### Week 4 Day 3 19:00 18/7 Fertigated 2l. Okay these girls are now starting to concern me a little on the basis that they are supposed to grow to "50-70cm". At just over 3 weeks old the shortest of these girls is 53cm, the tallest (plant 3) is now 76cm tall. The worrying thing is they do not at all look like they are slowing down and as they are just pre-flowering now, the flowering stretch hasn't even started. So I need some genuine advice here now: Do I keep the faith and hope that they don't exceed the space I have? Do I top or super crop them now? These ladies are beastly, at the end of the week I am going to take some individual videos and more photos to really try and capture how magnificently well these girls are doing. I think I may be in the process of growing the biggest Epsilon F1's so far? Exciting to find out! ### Week 4 Day 4 21:00 19/7 James has assured me they wont go much more than 85 so I am not going to mess with them. They are due a defoliation at the end of this week though. Measured each plant as follows: Plant 1: 81cm Plant 2: 75cm Plant 3: 80cm Plant 4: 67cm Plant 5: 59cm Plant 6: 58cm Might photograph later or leave until tomorrow. ### Week 4 Day 5 10:00 20/7 Photographed and measured. Plant 1: 85cm Plant 2: 79cm Plant 3: 81cm Plant 4: 71cm Plant 5: 63cm Plant 6: 63cm So they've all grown about 4cm in about 13 hours, except plant 3 - which seems to have slowed down a lot. The top of plant 3 is also the most advanced looking in terms of pistils. I forgot to take close ups of the preflowers I will do that tomorrow. I have had to raise the light again today and it is now much further away than the younger plants than I would like. So I am thinking about adding a 300w LED into my 4x4. I have another 3 inches I can raise the light on the hangers, after that I can removed the adjustable handers and tie it to the top of the tent... that'll gain me another 4 or 5 inches. If I need to go higher my only option would be to set them up without the tent which is not an option right now. Hopefully they all just stop getting taller now and focus on flowering... but my gut tells me there's more growth to come. Watch this space! ### Week 4 Day 6 15:00 21/7 Measured. Es war eine sehr gute Woche langsam kommen die zwei ersten Blätter ich habe das Gefühl sie streckt sich ein wenig vielleicht ist das weil die Lampe 76 cm von der Pflanze entfernt ist ich hoffe das ist nicht schlimm ich werde es einfach ausprobieren ich habe diese Woche gedüngt und zwar mit 0,5 g Bio Grow als Oberflächendünnung & mit in die Erde einmassiert Außerdem habe ich bio enhancer benutzt 0,5 Gramm auf 1 Liter Wasser zum Gießen

Re-potted into ceramic pots today and, indeed, the bottom 3/4 of the soil was quite damp. The root system was larger than I expected but quite grey in color, not vibrant white. I'm going away for 10 days so I'll just leave these babies alone and hopefully they lively up themselves.

The girls are looking very good. Starting to put on some weight now that the stretch has finally finished. The ladies are very tall but they look like they will yield well. Buds are developing quickly and are starting to look frosty as well. Have been using the Plagron Green Sensation to help bud development in the later stages of flower. Will be happy to see how these ladies turn out. They are starting to smell a bit stronger every week. Since I am using the Blumat drip system these ladies are pretty much on autopilot from here. Barneys Farm Pineapple Chunk Take 3 10th February 2022 Another Great week of flowering weather , even tho the daytime temps reach 40c the plants seem to be thriving 😀 with this one in particular 👌 I have not needed to add anything to this soil I made which goes to show that I made it almost perfectly this time around. One major difference to this lot is that I grew a crop of sweet corn in it last summer , followed by a full bed of leafy green vegetables such as Spinach , Kale , Silverbeet , Lettuce and Chard. I am now seeing the first signs that the girls need more but I am still waiting for the Guano to arrive 😏 Despite this She is cruising along really well and I predict a harvest in about 7 weeks . Just been transplanted into s bigger pot for another 1-2 weeks until mu autos are ready snd into rheir final one

I realized there may have been a bit of a light leak in the late morning. I taped everything up more. In the future I want to maintain better reflective integrity on the inside of the tent. Everything looks good. The buds are still growing a little taller and filling out. The CBD Blue Shark is super frosty. It's actually absurd. Orange hairs are coming out in all plants. I was hoping to be able to keep the exhaust window open overnight to let the overnight temps drop 10 degrees to encourage the purples in the WC genetics, but it's too humid now to have the window open without the grow light on. Otherwise the rh goes up to 70% overnight and it's not worth the risk. Next year I'll flip earlier when it's still colder and drier out for the harvest window. This flowering period has been really cool. I've really been noticing the process of flowering. The calyxes open up and turn into pistils and sugar leaves, and more keep appearing and popping every day. It's awesome.

17.09.18 | was 4 weeks away, traveling, but my plant (regilar seed) grow well and started to flower. 190cm tall and with flowers. Took my lady ro another spot with more sun and i will start to add blooming fertilizer too

Chai Tea with Snoop Dogg and Hei-di 😆 So far just giving a little bit of water twice per week. She should have enough nutrients packed into that little can until flower starts!

Great week! Explosive growth was the theme, and over the past 3 days they've gained 4 inches. I was inspired by a few growers on here to do more lst this round, we will see if it pays off or not. Finicky is still doing very well, I would say she's outpacing the other plant at this point. Started my bloom nutrients, and began to wean them off the veg nutes. There are plenty of nodes for buds, but a lot of them haven't shot up yet like some of the main stalks. The right plant was looking a little droopy this morning, realized they were probably an inch too close to the light. Hoping to get another week of stretch out of them, but I could see them shifting into bud production mode soon. Excited to see what's coming up over the next few weeks, stay tuned ladies and gentlemen!

Day 64 🌤️🌥️☁️☁️ 11-19 degrees and the humidity is around 65%. I started into the tenth week with an intense check of the main buds. Some of the trichomes are milky but the most are still clear. Maybe I‘m wrong. Some days ago I could spot some amber trichomes but the flowers expanded and it‘s not possible to find anymore amber ones. Watered 500ml pure rainwater. Day 65 🌤️☁️🌥️☁️ Today Tropicana needs a rest. She just want to sit and do nothing except waiting for sunshine warming her heart. In the evening she asked for water, potting soil lost enough weight. 600ml with 60ml light fermented flower and herb tee. ~100 ml drainage with PH 6,2. In the main flower it was possible to find a small amount of amber trichomes. Day 66 🌤️⛅️🌤️🌤️ 10-21 degrees, humidity 45-65%. This morning I understood, that Tropicana was not thirsty yesterday, she need to breath oxygen with her roots to feel happy. The beautiful smell is way not so intense since last night. I missed the strong smell when I opened the door to our balcony in the early morning. So no watering yesterday would be better. And my banana peel tee is not free of nitrogen, same with the herb and flower tee. Less is more will be written in my diary in the next days (weeks). Watching Trichome TV: I see more amber and I see that she needs more time after all this stress which I made for her. She told me that she is not only sick of water, she told me, that she hate to be moved all the time, too. Every move from A to B she would loose tiny roots and this would stress her a lot. When I checked the moisture I spotted too many of this root fly castings. Their mamas and papas had their orgie about a week ago and now they are eating the mulch layer roots as if there will be no morning. This is not Tropicanas day. But the sun is shining and tomorrow will be another day. Hopefully with a nose full of this tasty fruity and woody citrus smell. Day 67 🌧️☁️☁️☁️ 13-19 degrees, humidity 42-80%. This morning the smell was more intensive like yesterday but still not like before. The leafs show the first signs of fading and I‘m very nervous. This night will fall a lot of rain for several hours. But a part of our balcony is canopied, so Tropicana will be a little bit protected by me this night. I don‘t want to make another mistake, so I use this possibility. Anyway the plants are always wet after a strong rain, it‘s just a little canopy, but not soaked with water. Day 68 🌧️☁️⛅️🌤️ 15-21 degrees and the humidity is 74-85%. Tropicana feels better. The smell this morning was much more intensive then the days before. Day 69 ⛅️🌤️🌥️☁️ 15-22 degrees, humidity 46-89%. Tropicanas flowers are swelling and while she is maturing her smell is getting more intense and complex. Right now mandarin and an earthy woody smell, sometimes even a bit sour like a mixture of pineapple and lime juice. It‘s possible to find new colors in the flowers. There’s purple and pink, orange and ocher brown appeared. Tropicanas main flower looks like the harvest time is near, but the trichomes are still clear and just started to get milky. Anyway she is incredible fast, especially if to remember the extrem conditions with minimal temperature around ten degrees in the early mornings. Day 70 🌧️☁️☁️🌧️ 17-23 degrees, humidity 63-94%. In the next days we will have humid thunderstorm weather. There is even a warning for huge hailstones for tomorrow. So there is a risk of damage and mold because of high humidity. I will have an eye on this. Tropicana looks healthy, so I‘m not worrying too much anymore.

This was the strongest growing highest producing plant in the tent produced 250g dried well trimmed flowers , the vapor is very dense with a smooth cake taste , the high is very relaxing , out off the indica tent this was the clear winner and one I'll grow again soon .

This is the start of week 4 of flower. Raised my light to the maximum height, have it on 100% full spectrum and 50% red and ir. Noticed some yellow tips with a little curling, thought it was light burn, but now think it may be over nutrients so I lowered nutrients to about 75% of what they recommended to see maybe it will help. Other than that not much else I did, besides letting these girls grow.
