This grow was so amazing!! The purple punch’s came out super sticky dense nugs, super frosty , an a huge smell of blueberry muffins! Well week 5 of bloom is complete, and this week brought a few challenges. Humidity in my area has been through the roof, close to 100%. My heavy-duty equipment was struggling to bring my tent to acceptable late flowering levels, sometimes reaching over 60% RH, especially at night when the plant was respirating more. Additionally, her pale yellow color, and leathery leaves didn't excite me too much. If you remember, we had a severe heat wave a couple of weeks ago, which contributed to that. But also, since I messed up the ScrOG training, and regrettably decided not to super-crop her, a fair share of the leaf problems were due to light stress as well, as I didn't want to sacrifice lower colas, so I let it go. My biggest mistake this grow, was not paying attention to her the one day she decided to stretch nearly a foot, and was unable to be weaved into the net the next day without being snapped in half. My second biggest mistake is NOT snapping it in half, and letting it repair itself. I wouldn't have had nearly as much bleaching of leaves I think. This week, and I'm assuming because nearly all chlorophyll was depleted from her fan leaves, I didn't notice much of any change from last week. Her buds seemed to be about the same mass, and the stigmas still had the same ratio of red to white coloration. I suspected she was dead, or dying, or just...done. Not all genetics will transform all of their stigmas from white, and not all genetics will have their trichomes turn amber. So, I did a few things to confirm that suspicion. First, I looked at her trichomes on various buds closely with a microscope. They were almost all cloudy, with very very few amber. That told me that she was at an acceptable level of ripeness, even if she could have went longer, assuming she was still alive. Next, I removed the pea gravel mulch I was using in the raised bed, so I could get a closer look at the soil she was growing in, and more specifically, her roots. The soil, although moist a few inches deep, was not at the level I expected, and I think I have not been watering her enough. I don't think I'll be using a gravel mulch again. On the plus side, it did help prevent fungus gnats, as there was zero the whole grow, apart from an early week when I placed some solo cups to germinate on top of the bed, but after removing them, the fungus gnats disappeared with them. Also while inspecting the soil, I carefully dug down to inspect some of her primary roots. They were actually dry, despite the surrounding soil being moist. This could explain why she wasn't drinking much if any for the better part of the week. So, given her dry foliage, dry roots, and ripe-enough trichomes, I decided it was time to harvest her, earlier than expected. Let's also not forget that I was frightened this week with some high humidity scares, so growing longer, and possibly for no reason if she was dead or barely alive, was not in the cards. I've dealt with my fair share of bud rot before, and I would rather try what I have of her now, than to wait the extra week or so for her to be fully ripe. So, that is what I did, on the last day of the week -- I chopped her down, cut off some larger fan leaves, and hung her upside down. This, of course, was after removing the raised bed. It took me a while to empty about 45 gallons of soil so I could move it, but in doing so, I noticed a lot of beneficial critters, and nothing bad. Such critters included small centipedes, which feed on other insects, and soil mites which eat dead organic matter. I set the tent to dry at around 72F and 55 RH. And now we wait for about a week before trimming. One thing is for sure -- I am very proud of this grow, despite all these flaws. She smells incredible -- like pure citrus emanating throughout my house. This is a very strong-smelling plant. Welcome growers And also the week n°3 of veg. is finished for this young AYAHUASCA PURPLE 😈 She is the little girl of the garden, but in terms of health and growing vigor she is no less than the other girls 🌿 About five days ago I have transplanted into a 3l plastic pot.. Usually my choice of pot is the smartpot or the airpot 💯 Since the aeration of the substrate will be less than in my usual growing style, due to the choice of the pot, I have chosen to use a greater quantity of coco coir in the substrate.. I have mixed around 50% of light-mix soil (Canna professional and Biobizz), a 30% of coco coir (Atami), 10% worm-cast or humus (Atami) and around a 5% perlite wich it's already present in the light -mix.. I have also put a few micorizzae (Micosat F), like 10 grams, in direct contact with the roots and around 4 grams of Microlife (Bionova) in pellet form I will use this last one also for making an areated Tea, but during flowering.. About nutrients 👇 In this week i have giving their always organic/veganic nutrients.. Root-Juice (Biobizz) and Rizostimo (Biomagno) for the last time, plus a little bit of silicium (Bionova) and then Activator (Biomagno) / Crescita (Biomagno) / The Missing Link (Bionova) / X-Cell (Bionova) {This last two i have used in a foliar spray solution} Simply a little bit of everything at any watering 💧 About the lights 💡 I currently using for the first time, two Mars-Hydro SP3000, running at 25% of the power for now.. All is well here in week 10 although I'm starting to notice some possible nutrient burn or deficiency. Some of the foliage on plant 2 and 4 are looking a little rusty speckled. It's probably too late to correct the issue but if anyone has any advice on that I'd much appreciate it! Plant 1 is starting to do her thing, she's definitely stunted and may take an extra week or two to finish out guess we'll see! I've started late bloom feeding schedule which consists of 1.5 grams per gallon of B1&B2 as well as 3 grams per gallon of FullTilt from FloraFlex.

Another great week for this gal, growing nice and healthy shooting out some long green lush leaves thickening the branches, over all she is doing great no issues so far. Although I did find a tiny lil fly hanging around the plants, hopefully this fly didn't lay any eggs... but to stay on the safe side I ended up doing a deep clean inside the tent plus made some natural homemade pesticide and sprayed all plants 2h before lights out. Natural Pesticide Recipe consists in: 1 whole garlic bulb 1 small onion 1 teaspoon of cayenne pepper powder 1 tablespoon of liquid soap Directions: Puree garlic, onion and cayenne pepper powder Let mixture sit for at least one hour Strain Add 1 tablespoon of liquid soap Put mixture in a spray bottle Apply on the top and underside of cannabis leaves

Transplanted the ladies this week! Moved them into a 4 gallon pot, I plan on letting them get settled and flipping to flower soon. Temps were good this week, RH was steady at about 60%. No big surprises with the transplant, however it did take them a day or two longer than my typical recovery time.

I feel like the overall cycle length of this is a lot longer than stated. They have been growing for nearly 15 weeks. I believe they could have done with an extra week but we needed the space to add other clones that were ready.

Still taking about 3-4 days to dry out. Most likely due to my lack of adding extra perlite when starting. I think this is causing some pretty big fluctuations in humidity. Going to get a dehumidifier this week with a controller to try and stabilize the grow tent and possibly dry the smart pots faster. Im watering 2 times between each feeding, trying to take it slow with nutes to ensure no issues during flower. All in all I'm feeling pretty good about the progress, as I'm really starting to see the buds coming in and growing in size.

So this week the little gelatocake is on week 8 and is really starting to eat herself now, full of trichomes and smells like tutti fruity chewie sweets. Last week of nutes for her then mollases only. Week 7 for the othere gelatocake and shes starting to fatten up now as well as fade also. Babys have got big since re potting I will.bend them over later. Sherbert mimosa are still taking there time I think they are starting to get bigger 🤔🤣 I Will keep you updated lol. Happy growing guys 👌💪💚

We successfully completed week 8 and things are starting to get interesting. The buds have grown significantly in size over the last days and the smell has gotten much stronger. I think I also need a new air filter… The leaves did some coloring in the past week which makes this beauty look even more handsome. I optimized the air intake of my tent this week by replacing my one 100mm tube with two 130mm 3d printed light traps so breathing is much easier now and the vent can run a bit less fast.
