My permanent marker plants are looking really interesting! The short and stocky one with the purple leaves is super vibrant. I love that pop of color against the green of the other plants. It's a little different from the taller plant, which has this really cool stacked-up look to it. I'm curious to see if those stacked-up leaves will change color too. The past few weeks have been so beautiful, watching the plants grow and change. It's amazing how something so small and fragile can turn into something so strong and vibrant. Now that they're getting ready to bloom, it feels a little bittersweet. I'm so excited to see the finished product, but I'll definitely miss having them around while they're growing.

Applied 1/3 gal Nutrients by hand on day 1 of week 5. I defoliated leaves and shoots on the second node to build my manifold. I will be keeping the 1st and 3rd nodes on each main creating 8 colas with less topping then traditional Main-Lining. I preformed the 2nd topping on day 2 of week 5( the plants now have 8 shoots each and I will eventually be applying LST to the new 8 shoots).I haven't had any more issues with the Blumats but I am still dialing them in...I'm starting to see the pros of having a digital irrigation system vs my analog, but this is what I have available at the moment plus it's nice not having another wire to plug in 😉 Applied 1/3 gal Nutrients by hand on day 3 of week 5. On day 4 of week 5 I defoliated large fan leaves on well developed shoots on node 1 of mains(will do the same to node 3 of mains when those shoots grow out from the last topping). Applied 1/3 gal Nutrients by hand on day 5 of week 5. It's day 6 week 5 and I'm starting to see some possible issues with over watering and over fertilizing. One of my plants leaves started to claw slightly no burnt tips but I can tell she is slightly unhappy. I will lower the nutrients while making sure when I fertilize I get more runoff. I also dialed back my Blumats so that they water less(I'm starting to see a little green algae forming on the surface of the Coco this tells me it is staying too moist).

Growth has slowed after the House sitter issue but I’m just gonna let her take her time. I Think that she’s about a week behind. She was also getting too close to the lights which I believe started to stress her. I rigged them up higher and i'm sure it we will coast right into harvest from here. This strain is awesome, I've seen that it's not considered easy to grow and I can tell shes fussy but she definitely tells me what she needs and what's wrong. She reeks of very pungent lemon with a hint of skunk.

I put the plants into an NFT system couple weeks ago. I could have waited a bit longer for the plants to develop a stronger root system before placing the rockwool cubes into NFT but I was being impatient because of the slow start and wanted to get the plants under proper light. Now two weeks later they are growing well with good root development. I switched the lights to flowering cycle about a week ago so they should start stretching soon. No preflowers yet.

Day 7 & 2 of the NHLs still havnt popped, transplanting the one NHL that did pop today! Day 12 think 1 of the orange sherbet have nute burn so flushing it out and dropping the dose a little hopefully that helps!

Looking absolutely gorgeous this week. Incredibly stinky! Incredibly sticky! Really fat buds. And she's done. Will be chopped in 24h.

Day 29 - 8/12 - I took the day off! Didn't water and didn't measure. LOL I did peek at her once or twice though... Day 30 8/13 - 8.5" today! - 5.8 ph water as usual. - Cut off a couple of fan leaves that were annoying me. Thinking about finally flipping her tonight, getting a bit bored LOL need a change up. Day 31 - 8/14 - LOL Never mind on flipping her I guess, I ended up topping her! I wasn't going to, the furthest thing on my mind when it came to training her! But, I just did! I topped her! What can I say...I am very impulsive. I get an idea in my head and it's done before the next thought. I will change things up on a dime! - Well, she is doing good after that sudden head chop though. Wish I would have decided to do this a few days ago...but whatever! I think I will let her veg out for a few more weeks and get tall before I flip now LOL I may change my mind before then though. - 7" tall today now that she is topless. - No water today, but bringing her new feed up to full strength on her next...It's coming! She wants it bad lol Day 32 - 8/15 - Finally a full feed! Upped her Cal mag to 4ml/gal now too. May end up needing to go higher on that soon. - 7" tall still - She's already growing new pretty leaves and looking more bushy lol. I'm glad I topped her. - Hoping her full strength will help her paleness now lol, and her big dose of cal mag of course. Day 33 - 8/16 - 7.5" tall Day 34 - 8/17 - 7.5" tall - Still on every other day water with full strength Terra Grow from Plagron and 4ml of Cal Mag. Sometimes I feel like adding a ml or 2 of silica. Giving 2000ml per water. Day 35 - 8/18 - 8" tall **Still going on about how much I love my low effort nutrient feed! Simplicity is the way ! LOL at least for me. She didn't seem to mind the switch up to Plagron at all, but she was really young though. She did yell a bit at me for starting her so low...but this was my first time using Plagron, and my first time not going off of someone else's chart so I was fine taking my time. And, as you can see, she survived LOL She also didn't mind me suddenly cutting her head off. LOL When will I flip.....now that will be a mystery. I'm sure it will just hit my head one day that "today is the day"....and I'm sure there will be no actual reason for that specific day either, just an "I felt like it". Lana has not managed to nibble any this week, but she has stood guard to make sure no one else could either. She thinks if anyone is getting a nibble it's gonna be her! My little guardian. Everything seems to be going alright, one of my plants has extremely shiny leaves almost like oily, and some odd shaped leafs but I’m very curious to see how things go when I switch to flowering considering these are all random bag seeds! Have been trying to look for signs of sex but still can’t see anything yet!

Both are doing great! Finally got the temperature and humidity corrected enough that the plants are stressing less, and i also increased the lights back to 200W after 5 days. I think they're large enough now to handle more light - going to increase the light slowly over the next few weeks as well. No other issues - haven't had to add much nutrient solution or anything really... ph is super stable in both reservoirs as well. All that being said, I know the reality is that i'm going to run into a bunch of issues now that i've said i haven't yet.

5 out of 6 ended up female, pretty happy with that ratio, last week of 12 hour light 12 hour dark week 3 I change to 11/13 to mimic season ending sooner or island (hawaiin) sun cycle that is supposedly known to help express phenos more and make plant finish quicker. a tip i heard from dj short

My husband and I defoliated again the other day, we did this to expose every bud to direct light and to remove any light damaged leaf so we can track how the new growth looks.. but despite this hiccup her buds are fattening up super fast, she looks a little beyond the 5th week of flower imo but iv'e noticed this is usually the case whenever we flower super old plants (anyone else notice this?) .. There's really not too much else to report, it's been an effortless week.. I'm so excited to see the final outcome of this plant, we may actually put in the effort of weighing buds this time lmoa..
