Started with some bent which really made side branching take off. I'm just doing leaf tucking, all branches get plenty of light, so no need for bending IMO. One is quite a bit bigger than the other, if this is a fenotype thing or something I did we will never know since the sample is too small to make conclusions... So its the one in the slightly smaller pot that is bigger. Also, I switched positions between both to see if this makes difference... but I never noticed hotspots or such in my earlier grows.... One of my annoyances of small-scale operations is that there is never enough data to be able to make conclusions based in facts. It could always be nature or nurture, because I lack control groups. Maybe my government will someday finally see the backwater retardedness of our way of dealing with cannabis. For now no other option than staying within the law. I like weed and growing but I like my freedom more. The XL Runtz are remarkably resistant and vigorous, with extreme growth in just under three weeks after germination. Beautiful plants and they handle a high light / high organic nute situation from very early on. Coming week I'll just be leaf tucking, no further LST since they are already going into flower. Ill be adding BAC Organic Flower coming days along with my solution of wood ash and perma tea. Also Ill be starting the three 56 ltr growbags to start the three regulars that will run in the same 18 hr lightschedule. And that light, trusty SP-3000, what a machine, what results so far and how reliable so far. She doesn't get too warm at all, just contributes to a nice greenhouse atmosphere without any climate management other than me checking temps and RH. Usually, I need no adjusting, no ventilation, no heating or airco, my system is pretty self-containing and autonomous in the stabile attack where it is. And lets be real, I get results as in grams per watt and per plant that only the 600 watt / Hydroponic guys get. With organic growing, in such small scale with 300 watt. Blueberry Muffin – Pheno A | Week 3 The Awkward Start Is Officially Behind Her Welcome back to another week of the 8×8 Adventure, where twelve cultivars are being documented individually from seed to harvest under a strict 12/12-from-seed schedule. Each phenotype receives its own diary so development can be followed independently, allowing subtle differences in structure, vigor, and expression to reveal themselves over time. This week marked one of the most significant environmental changes since the project began. The lighting intensity was increased from approximately 370 µmol/m²/s PPFD to 700 µmol/m²/s PPFD at canopy level. Rather than easing into the increase slowly, the decision was made to provide the plants with a much stronger light source and observe their response carefully. The result? They loved it. Alongside the increase in light intensity, feeding volumes and nutrient strength were also adjusted to support the accelerating growth rate. If you’ve been following this diary since germination, you’ll remember that this phenotype showed a few odd characteristics during its earliest days. The first leaves arrived with a slightly unusual appearance and briefly raised some questions about how she would develop. Fast forward to Week 3 and those concerns feel very distant. The new growth is absolutely beautiful. Leaf structure has normalized completely, color is rich and healthy, and the overall plant has developed into a compact, vigorous young specimen with excellent symmetry throughout the canopy. One of the first things that stands out is the internodal spacing. Despite the substantial increase in PPFD, the plant continues to stack nodes tightly, creating a dense structure that suggests strong genetic vigor and efficient use of the available light. Rather than stretching upward, she is focusing her energy on building a solid framework. Looking closely at the canopy, the branching is already beginning to establish itself naturally. Side shoots are emerging confidently and there is a clear sense that this plant is preparing for the next stage of development rather than simply adding height. At this point she is already pushing into the seventh to eighth node range, which is impressive considering the timeline and the 12/12-from-seed approach being used throughout the project. The foliage itself is another highlight. Large, healthy fan leaves radiate outward from the center of the plant, creating a broad solar panel that is capturing every available photon. Color remains a lush, vibrant green from top to bottom, with no signs of stress despite the environmental changes introduced this week. The newest growth is particularly exciting. The central growth tip is expanding rapidly and showing the kind of vigor that makes a grower eager to check on the plant every day. There is a feeling that this phenotype is only beginning to reveal what it has planned. For now, she sits comfortably among the stronger performers in the room, combining healthy structure, excellent color, strong branching, and compact growth habits into a very promising package. Most importantly, she simply looks happy. And happy plants tend to tell the best stories. ⸻ Looking Ahead The coming week should be very revealing. With the root zone continuing to expand, nutrient levels increased, and lighting now operating at a much higher intensity, the pace of development is expected to accelerate noticeably. My oldest girl had her flush this week and its about time for her to finish up. I will continue the journal for my 2nd oldest so stay tuned!

This week has been one of them weeks so basically they got big and I had to make them shorter so I did this hopefully they recover 🤞🏻

This week was mostly about maintenance, balancing the canopy, and keeping the rhythm steady. The lighter green pheno keeps drinking well and is building buds consistently. Growth in biomass seems to have slowed, which is fine — she’s clearly channeling her energy into flower production now. No new leaf mass, but steady bud development. The darker green pheno, on the other hand, required real work this week. She had become very dense and bushy, so I carefully defoliated her, opening the canopy and removing shaded bud sites that would never reach proper light. I was mindful not to overdo it, giving her just enough space and air without stressing her further. The result is a much more open structure with better airflow and a cleaner look. The PPFD increase to 1000–1050 µmol/m²/s from the week before shows no negative effects — both plants are handling the light intensity well. They’re responding steady and healthy, which gives me confidence to keep them at this level. Overall, the tent is vibing steady right now. The darker pheno got a fresh haircut and is breathing again, while the lighter one keeps cruising, stacking buds even if she’s not pumping out more leaves. Light levels are up, the girls are chill, and I’m just letting the ride flow. It feels like the darker pheno might even catch up and outshine her bright sister. For now, I’m keeping my hands off as much as possible, letting them finish strong so I can roll into the next project. 🚀

So things are getting serious! The smell gets stronger and was amazing when I defoliated the plants. The G-13 is forming very nice buds, but the reason it is a bit later than the Strawberry Banana is I accidentally used Strawberry Banana auto, so as soon as the first pistils appeared and I realized what was going on I switched the light schedule to flowering to have it on a similar time. This is also the reason why I started flowering them so small. Looking forward for next week!

Well this is actually where i started. I had already germinated the Green Tea (Forbidden Fruit x Gelato) seed. Now i think i am caught up. I will try to post as many videos as possible. I suck at typing and with the dictation it takes longer to fix the f_ck ups than to just type what I wanted. I can just explain what I'm doing or what I've done for the week. This is my first ever grow journal so it may be all over the place....we will see..... I have multiple grows happening at the same time....sometimes I get carried away...lol....and might have a few more than I expected to have. I will do my best to keep things up to date and current. I definitely want to start running right out of the gate and make a pretty decent journal.

First day under led lights after receiving the fresh cuttings. All of them are healthy but unfortunately is the night temperature at the moment a bit to low. All lights are dimmed; the sunlight leds on the lowest setting and the Cree cobs around 20%. Output watts for all leds is at the moment 280W. PAR readings coming up in the next days 💡 Now the PAR readings: 3x3 measurements at plant tip. Front row to the back. Measurements in mmol/m2s with the quantumsensor from apogee. 400,570,400,550,620,610,410,470,410. Around 500 in average.

The girls are doing amazing, buds are getting bigger 😍I realized it wasn't the best move to run two plants in one res. Since they have different harvest windows, I'll have to do a partial harvest on the mature one and try to stall the rest until the second girl catches up. Since the early chop won't be flushed, I'm just gonna run it for bubble hash and press it into some sweet live rosin! 🍯🔥

SUNDAY 6/23: I had to suspend my indoor operation for a couple months and within a week I'm so bored that I don't know what to do with myself....so... I'm gonna grow 5 total plants in a secluded, mostly shady area on a nearby property and see what results. 1 * CC4 (Candy Cane #5 x C4 #3 - the purple pheno) 1 * Early Candy (Candy Cane #1 x Early Miss #2) 1 * Candesia (Candy Cane #5 x Auto Amnesia #2) ...plus a couple others which will be in other diaries. I'm using the complete Biotabs line of products for this stealth grow..hopefully a few less sneaky midnight trips required to keep them happy. I floated the beans today, They are under a dome, on a heat mat now. Once sprouted, I'll plant the seedlings in rockwool cubes with Great White and Mycrotrex. They will be planted in 3 gallon pots when ready. I'll probably let them get to about the 3rd internode before I move them outdoors. TUESDAY: I floated a second CC x EM seed today. The first one sunk and cracked open but still hasn't sprouted. Both the CC4 and Candesia beans sunk and also cracked open. I should be able to dip their tap roots into the Great White tomorrow and plant them in cubes. For stealth purposes, simplicity in transfer to the grow site, and to give the seedlings an advantage, I've decided to transfer the rockwool-cubed seedlings from the dome to some 6" pots (1/2 gallon) that I've prepared with startrex and silicium flash. I'll grow the seedlings under my 2000w blurple light for a couple of weeks before taking them outside. I should be able to carry all of them in a big box out to the site without injuring them. This will give me time to start sneaking the big pots out to the site. I'll pre-mix the startrex and silicium flash on-site and add the mycrotrex when I transplant them to the 3 gallon pots and give them a good douching with bactrex and orgatrex to get them started well. My soil has been recharging for several months with tons of good stuff added (earthworm castings, bat guano, azomite, biochar, bokashi, nectar for the godz one-shot and myco), plus I'll be growing them with the biotabs line of products, so they will have a good chance. I figure that I'll probably fix up their first batch of PK booster compost tea right away and douche them with it in their first week outdoors. Every little thing I can do to help them strengthen for the oncoming heat they'll experience...probably some extra kelp too... THURSDAY: They are all planted in cubes now. FRIDAY: Still waiting on them to emerge. SATURDAY: Still nothing...so...I floated the following: 10 x Candy Cane x Amnesia Auto (Seedsman) (F1) seeds 1 x Candy Cane x Early Miss (F1) seed 1 x Candy Cane x White Widow(CKS) (F1) seed 1 x Candy Cane (S1) seed If my luck changes and a bunch of them sprout, not sure what I'll do. I also floated a Fastbuds C4 and a mystery breeder Sour Diesel bean, but they probably won't be included in this diary if they do grow...or maybe I'll change the name of the diary.. TUESDAY: Maybe the "distilled" water I used before had chlorine in it, so I bought another gallon of distilled water and even left the lid off for a night so as to ensure any chlorine dissipated. I planted half of them in rockwool cubes and half in rapid rooters. WEDNESDAY: I see several sprouts breaking through.. I decided to go ahead and float 2 x Candy Cane x White Widow Auto (Seedsman) seeds produced in February as backups. I also floated another 2 x Candy Cane x C4 (purple pheno) beans. My Cal Mag just arrived and I don't know guys, I need your advice. I am not sure if this is a calcium deficiency that I can fix. Or it is due to the fact that I am growing up in the bathroom it is constantly damp? I read about this fungus infection. What is your opinion about watering in Coco + Perlie? As I understand, due to the perlite, you should not water as often as without it. I used to grow on only coco and I think now it is different and I should not water every day. One day later, one day of rest. Community, I want to grow as a grower really, so any information, criticism, or advice that will help me get better not from practice, but from theory is greatly appreciated. Please also consider that I am basically growing on a budget if you can say so... My grow tent is coming soon and I will transfer them.

Les chiffres dépassent toutes mes espérances : ​Poids sec total : 231 grammes de têtes dures, lourdes et parfaitement maniables. Un ratio de séchage excellent par rapport aux 694g humides du cut ! ​Branches monstres : La structure de Spirit était tellement dingue qu'une seule branche pèse à elle seule 40 grammes secs, et deux autres branches secondaires ne sont vraiment pas loin derrière sur la balance. ​Contrôle de qualité : Le séchage s'est déroulé sans encombre grâce au combiné de mon ancien secteur et du test sur le DryRocket. Aucune trace de moisissure malgré la densité extrême des buds. ​👃 PROFIL AROMATIQUE & QUALITÉ DES BUDS ​Odeur / Terpènes : C'est une explosion aromatique. Ça sent très fort le citron vif et acidulé, accompagné de ce profil mythique à l'ancienne type Amnesia Haze très reconnaissable. ​Aspect & Résine : Les têtes sont denses, ultra-lourdes, bien compactes et littéralement blindées de trichomes. Sous la loupe, c'est une vraie mer de cristaux. ​Graines de sauvegarde : 3 graines ont été trouvées isolées sur la structure (pas directement enfouies dans le cœur des buds, donc la récolte reste impeccable). Elles sont précieusement gardées en réserve pour une prochaine session en espérant retrouver ce phénotype d'alien. ​💬 MON MOT DE LA FIN & REMERCIEMENTS ​Pour une simple autofloraison, sortir 231 grammes secs sur une seule plante sous tente avec des têtes de cette qualité, c'est une performance complètement hallucinante pour moi.
