Bud wet weight : 168,1g of trimmed medium to big sized buds 25,4g of tiny tiny buds/larfs = 193.5 grams of trimmed wet buds. Details on genetics and smoke report above. This, as my first grow, is way more than I ever expected it to be. I haven´t had that much fun and enthusiasm in a very very long time. I can´t even explain the feeling it is to harvest your own cannabis, but I know most of you know what I´m talking about haha. It was really nice to practice LST, even tho it was SO HARD, ´cause I didn´t had barely any space to work since I used a hard pot and did not fill nearly half the size of it and the walls of the pot were really high. It was even difficult to water without dropping water on the lower buds. I haven´t learnt much about defoliation tho, I feel I need to study a little more about the phases you should or should not do it. Also, I discovered thrips are a pain in the ass. I had 2 tough weeks dealing with thrips, but in the end it was alright. I don´t have any humidity control device, which I intend to buy for the next grows. Growdiaries was really helpful for me, it kept me motivated everyday (not that I wouldn´t have had it anyways), the Grow Questions are REALLY useful and all the community is awesome. Thanks to all people that helped me here on GD during this first grow! To conclude it: I am really happy and satisfied with how the grow turned out. They look incredible, it almost feels like I can´t believe it still. Peace. UPDATES: 07/10 : The buds are now dry and already in curing jars, one of them with a Boveda 58% humidity pack. The total grams of the dry buds are: 41.4g (medium to big sized buds) 4.1g (tiny buds) = 45.5 grams! I´m really happy with the results, I thought it would be around 30g so yeah, that´s a really good surprise! In 2 weeks I´ll be back to update the smoke report. Thanks so much for reading! Peace. 09/10 : I managed to fit everything in the same container with some space between them, so now every bud is with the Boveda pack. 14/10: It´s been a week and the smell improved, it still smells a little like hay/plant ( even tho it´s not too dry neither too wet ). 21/10: Now it´s been two weeks and even tho the smell isn´t anymore hay, it´s a lot herbal. I really think the aroma can get better, but the taste is already good enough for me. The smoke report has been done and in case I have something to add, I´ll report here. Week 8 Flower The last week of flush for these two. They were taken down on Day 56, after a 16 Day flush. I think Twin2 could have finished at 7 weeks, but of course I hadn't planned for this, or I would have flushed sooner. So she was taken to the originally planned 8 weeks. Twin2 has also foxtailed quite a bit, from only slightly higher temps and also because she's having a last attempt at catching any pollen in order to reproduce. Although the pots were slightly damp still when I harvested, it is best to take them down when they're dry. The only reason I didn't, was because I knew I'd be too busy the next day, and there were plants in veg that were desperate to be thrown into the flower tent! The pics do make them look wetter than they were though. Their fan leaves were taken off and they were each hung in seperate boxes, where they'll dry as slowly as possible for between 6-10 days. I dont suffer with very high humidity, so I'm able to do this without any issues. When I feel it is too humid, I simply burp the box for the first day or 2 once a day. The slower the dry the better the buds will taste/smell. Once she's dry enough she'll be trimmed and jarred for curing. It's going to be a pretty tough one for keeper pheno! They both have similar but very different smells. By that I mean, they both smell very floral and sweet, but T2 smells extra sweet (although definitely not as dense). That doesn't mean T1 doesn't smell just as nice. Hers buds are thicker and more dense, so even though I've favourited T2 in the pics, I think I'm leaning towards T1 still. But in all honesty it's still down to dry weight and the taste test! This can all be looked forward to in the harvest update! It's been a seriously fun diary with these two twins. Le temperature elevate delle ultime settimane, sono state molto stressanti per le ragazze ma nonostante questo la genetica Barney'S farm si è fatta predominante ed insieme alla sorella Fastbuds Apricot auto hanno praticamente fagocitato l intero spazio della grow box, destinato come progetto iniziale di 4 piante, purtroppo sappiamo bene come sono andate le altre due ragazze, ma diciamocelo, di sicuro non staremo a piangerci addosso perché questa cookie KUSH auto mi sta veramente sorprendedno, altezza di 98cm e un sacco di sviluppo delle cime laterali che sono stra colme di gemme a forma di biscotto che si stanno sviluppando in modo davvero grandioso sia in numero di fiori che di nuovi fiori, che di compattezza delle cime, nonostante il caldo abbia portato a formare delle cime un po foxtail, ma spero che questo problema rientri nelle ultime due settimane che mancano alla raccolta, la temperatura sarà dai 26 ma x 30 gradi, quindi clima controllato ideale per questa ragazza che sprizza di resina da ogni nuovo fiore! Spero che la situazione continui così, anche se ho notato una carenza (spero) di calcio e magnesio che mi è capitato spesso anche in altre coltivazioni organiche, a cui avevo somministrato c02, si vede che aumentando il metabolismo andavano in carenza di cal/mag... ma purtroppo io non sono ancora così esperto da capirlo da me stesso ed essere pienamente sicuro della soluzione migliore da adottare.. Si iniziano a sentire odori speziati di legno stile KUSH!! Cali crasher is growing really well. She like the Hortibloom Solux 350 is for sure. I changed her air stone a few days ago. I did a solution change today that is more geared to flowering. I also added a tablespoon of blackstrap molasses to the solution. Everything is looking really good at the moment. She is developing a good frost which is a excellent sign. shortest plant is 50cm tallest being 95cm. They are all doing wonderfully, most of autos are budding nicely and all of the photoperiods are ready to flower. looking very promising. i am changing my light schedule to 14-10 to kick these girls into flower.. this will give the plants an extra 17% (or so) a day under the lights.rather than 12-12. i cant be fussy as i only have one grow space but if my research is correct these should grow beautifully! the autos are well ahead so shouldnt affect my harvest weight too much. like i say i cant be fussy! thanks for looking
