Week 8 Flower The last week of flush for these two. They were taken down on Day 56, after a 16 Day flush. I think Twin2 could have finished at 7 weeks, but of course I hadn't planned for this, or I would have flushed sooner. So she was taken to the originally planned 8 weeks. Twin2 has also foxtailed quite a bit, from only slightly higher temps and also because she's having a last attempt at catching any pollen in order to reproduce. Although the pots were slightly damp still when I harvested, it is best to take them down when they're dry. The only reason I didn't, was because I knew I'd be too busy the next day, and there were plants in veg that were desperate to be thrown into the flower tent! The pics do make them look wetter than they were though. Their fan leaves were taken off and they were each hung in seperate boxes, where they'll dry as slowly as possible for between 6-10 days. I dont suffer with very high humidity, so I'm able to do this without any issues. When I feel it is too humid, I simply burp the box for the first day or 2 once a day. The slower the dry the better the buds will taste/smell. Once she's dry enough she'll be trimmed and jarred for curing. It's going to be a pretty tough one for keeper pheno! They both have similar but very different smells. By that I mean, they both smell very floral and sweet, but T2 smells extra sweet (although definitely not as dense). That doesn't mean T1 doesn't smell just as nice. Hers buds are thicker and more dense, so even though I've favourited T2 in the pics, I think I'm leaning towards T1 still. But in all honesty it's still down to dry weight and the taste test! This can all be looked forward to in the harvest update! It's been a seriously fun diary with these two twins. As I did the flushing in day 68 I was watching the trichomes and on day 87 I could see 25-35% amber so I decided to cut it. I cut the whole plant on the base and hang them all to dry. For this reason I will update my findings later when it gets dry and trimmed. So far really happy with the results. It won’t yield much but the quality is impressive

She drinks a lot and drives all her energy to the buds, they are getting really huge 😎 I noticed some slight foxtailing on the upper colas but this is probably due to my QB being too close so I'll dim the driver down to 75% to end the flowering cycle of this GoldBarKush because I have no more vertical space left. The orange smell is delicious! Can't wait!

So week 6 is Live now and it looks like she’s ready for blooming

Finally able to water again this week. Got the humidity down to 55%. They responded very well to the feed, noticed a big change within 24hrs. They're all looking very strong.

Absolutely loved growing this Blueberry Pie F1 Fast from Seedsman. Always big and fast right from the start. Buds were huge and nicely dense. First round of 1340 g wet yielded 372 g dried buds and second round of 1190 g was surprisingly large and also high quality. Final dry weight of 632 g which is pretty damn good for northern Canada (53 N latitude at Edmonton) by the end of September using just a 5 gallon grow bag. Most of this will be used as flower, but some of this will be made into hash. Will update further with hash making in a few weeks. Very impressed with this F1 strain and looking forward to trying another one next year, like maybe Gorilla Gas F1 Fast. Blueberry Pie F1 Fast is a great strain. Congrats to Seedsman on these big, fast and tasty genetics, and thanks for letting me try it.

Week 7/10. I will be starting 14day flush next week with Vitalkink Finale in the first 7 days and plain water the next 7 days then 72 hours before harvest i will leave them in the dark at 15°C. I am doing 5x Blackberry by fast buds after these are finished which will be my first time doing autos.

The temperatures in my city finally dropped so my plants are responding way better to the lower temps. I began with a little LST at the end off the week because this Strawberry Pie Auto grows compact with little node spacing, so I did some LST to open her up and get more light onto the little baby budsites :)

- WEEK 8 - ----- Day 50 ----- Woo hoo. End is in sight and the plants are still PACKING the pounds on. Big Bertha is 11 inches long, 2 inches wide. The hidden massive Gertha is 8 inches in circumference in the middle in just bud alone and isn't even the largest part of this 8 inch long nug... Fed 1150ppm 13L 6.4pH 5-15+ days left. 2-4 days till I start looking into trichome finish period. Forgot to take a regular full shot and shots of tropicanna glookies. oh well. Later tonight if I remember. I stopped bud candy cause I'm using a lot more molasses and its literally a sugar in itself so why put in bud candy which is just sugars... seems redundant. ----- Day 51 ----- Easy day of watching. Some nice bud shots today. The whole basement smells of weed candy. Back right Tropicanna is pineapple gummy bear, front right is just gummy bear. Wedding Cake is like sweet weed, you get the regular smell of pot but instead of skunky its sweet but that Tropicanna is just alllll candy no weed smell at all. I did the first 60x shot today. 5% cloudy 95% clear on the Tropicanna. Long ways to go. I'll be doing the Wedding Cake later tonight, got side tracked. ----- Day 52 ----- Fed 1200ppm 6.4ph 12 Liters Tropicanna Glookies is going full blown purple. Should be covered in dark purple coloration within the week. Wedding Cake is just fat. Super fat large nugs. Easy day. Forgot to take trichome pics of Wedding Cake will do that later today probably. Well, the largest bud is 1 foot in circumference now... rofl ----- Day 53 ----- Easy day. Fed some water, they're getting thirsty again. I'm going to do a 13L feeding , then next day 5L water. So that's what I did today. I'll be dropping the Kool Bloom Powder & CaliMagic by day 56 and only feed 1/2 strength molasses only. Will pick the buds off as they finish, not gonna do 1 big chop unless it manages to turn out that way. Colors are going wild. Will check Wedding Cake & Tropicanna trichomes before lights out will update pics then. ----- Day 54 ----- 1300ppm 13L 6.4ph fed Here's some pics. Wedding Cake is nowhere near ready by the trichomes. Barely any cloudy, no amber. ----- Day 55 ----- Tropicanna really turning purple now starting to infect the leaves at top of canopy. Can't wait for what Day 63 holds for all these ladies. Not going to check trichomes till probably day 58 Easy day, last fert feed with chemical nutrients tomorrow, after that its just molasses. ----- Day 56 ----- Didnt even bother with ppm/pH. Molasses. roughly 30-50ml in 13-15 Liters. Smoked a tester of the Tropicana Glookies (Sativa) God daaaamn. Shits fire. Extremely strong. Very Cerebral and its not even at its peak yet... I've chosen Tuesday as Harvest day for both Tropicana Glookies plants (they're clones of each other) A single Wedding Cake testing nug is drying right now, I'll judge when it gets harvested based on the high, and if not sufficiently near my level i'll give it 2 days before drying another nug and trying again. I want heavy ass couch-lock. 6 days for Tropicana. Probably 8 for Wedding Cake. Will send samples off to Canvas Labs for testing like I've done in the past and will be making both edibles and bubble hash and will post those here as they happen. Once thats done I will see if I can restart veg mode in this grow, and if so I will keep this going until the plants die (and just make side diaries for each individual plant variety grow). Should be interesting. *** update *** Where'd the 1.5 Liter water bottle go? rofl

The humidity is still a concern as these girls continue to stack. I increased water today to about a gallon every three days, which I'm sure will drive the humidity numbers up. I really need to invest in an auto-watering system, lol. So far, I'm happy with these testers. They have been a non-demanding grow with zero problems, so far.

Slowly but surely she is fattening up and is turning yellow with splashes of red/pink, leds were a little too low or hps at the beginning of flowering damaged her fan leafs... Next time I will know better which is the cause. Smallish buds but those are coated with trichomes, sugar leafs too. Going to make some cannabutter! I think 1 or 2 more weeks before harvest depending how she looks, I want her Calyxes to mature fully before chopping her!

So I am halfway through my first harvest and I'm starting to feel like I may have been impatient! Would appreciate any advice or constructive criticism from any experienced growers out there! Do you think I harvest the rest of my plant now or leave it a while? Any tips/hints on the best way to maximize bud density? Thanks in advance

HEY GANG UPDATE BEFORE THE FLIP!!!!! So guys I had the WPM (white powdery mildew) issue with the gelato auto haven't really seen it coming up elsewhere I'm already using a OMRI 3-in-1 spray for it will update on that as well, hopefully that'll cure it, otherwise these other girls are doing great! I have almost finished setting up the tent system and will update that also, see video, thanks for everyone's help, I cant imagine what I would do without the whole forum here and the wisdom I'm definitely a lot more knowledgeable about the process and systems that I have for it so again, THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sour wiz came out amazing. Not many problems during her grow. Each pheno came out really different but that’s from my doing. I trained each plant differently to see what the difference would be. Responds really well to stress and training. I can’t tell you in words how great the flowers are. They’re literally coated in trichomes and smell and taste so damn good. Fruity sweet gasoline.
