Hi guys, So week 4 now and all 5 should be in flower/preflower stage by next week, the gelatocake are doing brilliant im not so sure about the sherbert mimosa. 2 lights running now so bloomplus bp2500 for gelatocakes and marshydro tsl2000 for the mimosa 550watt actual in ghe room now I Will update the the week and add pics. I have popped 2 x dark phoenix inhouse genetics and 2 x blue cheese from big buddha all 4 photo fems and will be vegging them in the back of this little room lol. May 11: plant looks good and the bad colour in the pic is due to wildfire smoke. Seems happy in the final 5 gallon grow bag. Today was overcast and smoky after two beautiful sunny spring days. First smoke of the season arrived at about 7 am this morning. This smoke is likely due to fires in northeast BC about 1000 km (600 miles) from here. Hopefully it won’t be as bad as last year. May 13: air quality is better again. Plant is doing fine. Watered with Monster Maxx during afternoon. May 16: cool and rainy today. There was some sun in the late afternoon. She’s looking good and off to a better start than most of my previous starts. May 17: very cool and rainy again which is just as well for forest fires. Hey now, hope everyone is having a great weekend and staying safe. It was a great week for the 5 mainlines, they are all close to 20 inches tall, with 8 mains, and I decided to flip them all to flower today on day 49. If the ladies double in height by the end of the stretch, they should be around 40 inches tall and my lights are at 52 inches so that would give me about a foot between the canopy and the lights. I am still feeding GH nutrients, silica, cal mag, and maxi grow. I will transition to flower nutrients in about a week. I have found that it is important to continue feeding plenty of Nitrogen through the stretch. The only way I would transition sooner is if I was running out of vertical space. Still very happy with the Spectrum X from Medic Grow. I am running her at 69% and the plants seem very happy and healthy. The heat and humidity are finally letting up in my region so it is nice to be able to open some windows and drop the temp outside the grow tent. Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. Really impressed with dry harvest amount. 7.8 ounces of buds. I used my trim bowl to trim and came out with 3.5 ounces off trim which will be used for edibles. Really sweet smell coming off these buds. They are lovely.

Week4 D1 So starting this week plants still look strong but rainbow belts is drooping like she is thirsty but her pot is heavy so I am monitoring to see if she is just being dramatic or if she is getting a slight salt build up. Will water in 2 days and check the ph of run off. I am thinking it is slightly acidic. I also see slight tip burn on a couple leaves but they were just fed and it wasn't hot so I am leaning towards the acidic water. Week4 D4 All girls got 1.5G of dechlorinated tap water at 6.7 ph and thats it. Got nats so I've been using yellow sticky tape. They are stacking heavy so end of week 5 I plan on feeding them a final dose. You can see the light tilted to accommodate the different heights. Week4 D3 I said I would water today but I am going to let them go one more day before making a decision. Rainbow Belts roots may need to breathe a bit so before I make a rash decision I will monitor. Otherwise plants are stacking well and are getting hairy and frosty. Sugar leaves are getting more abundant. Week4 D4 Each girl got 1.5G 6.7 ph water dechlorinated and rotated and thats it. They all are growing well hoping we are on track for another feeding at the end of week5. Next watering will be compost tea to revitalize microbes. Week4 D5 The next day after the 6.7ph feeding they responded well so I think my guess of low soil ph for rainbow belts was correct as well as her drying out sooner. In 5 days or so I will water with compost tea. Everything is looking strong- smell is low but my average temp is about 73degrees. I am keeping vpd between 1.3-1.4 and will hold for a few weeks before bumping up to 1.5. Debating if I want to use UV B light- anyone with any experience let me know. Later growers!

01/31 - HST SOG completed - rebounding accordingly - increased feeds to every other day between clean water and nute feeds - Lights have been picked up to make soon for SOG - looking to pluck clones in about 2/3 weeks

📆 Semana 9 Las plantas avanzan en la fase de maduración avanzada, con los cogollos ya muy desarrollados, compactos y pesados, centrando toda su energía en el endurecimiento y afinado final. Los cálices terminan de hincharse y la resina alcanza niveles muy altos, cubriendo bien todas las flores. Los pistilos aparecen mayoritariamente oxidados, aunque aún se mantienen algunos blancos, indicando que la planta está cerca de su punto óptimo pero todavía en proceso de cierre. Se aprecia un leve foxtailing en algunas puntas, algo sutil propio de esta fase final, sin afectar a la calidad ni a la densidad general. La absorción continúa ralentizándose, mostrando claramente que la planta entra en su última etapa, enfocada en estabilizar su maduración y perfil aromático. Seguimos creciendo fuerte 💪!

1/25 Week 11 Ripley : Flushing begins with a five gallon flush to move the runoff to under 200ppm and defoliated by pulling almost every leaf on a stem, and god what a bunch there were. This opens the plant and removes those sources of nuets. Going to doing this as quickly as we may so will be monitoring runoff as we go. Tara: Slight Defoliation just trying to keep these leafy SOBs open. Back on Heavy dose of CocoTek and placed in best light I can we just watching the bud growth for how to help this big girl. Will not pick up Peak again until ready to withdraw the CT. Better pics when I can 1/26 Ripley : Second day of flush just keep running water through it till runoff gets low no longer PHing the water, nothing much left in there anyway.
