🌿 Amnesia Skunk Auto — Week 9 From Seed (Week 5 Flower) We’re back with the Amnesia Skunk auto, and before we dive into this week, let’s take a second to understand how we got here. This run has been a bit different from the traditional approach. Even though we’re working with autoflowers, the environment has been set under a 12/12 light cycle from seed — what we’ve been calling a “no veg” approach. Now, to clarify — it’s not that the plant doesn’t vegetate. It does. But it does so on its own internal clock, not because we extended light hours to push vegetative growth. So what happens? The plant never gets the signal to fully stretch and build structure like in a classic veg phase, which results in: • more compact plants • tighter node spacing • earlier transition into flower • and a much faster lifecycle overall And that’s exactly what we’re seeing here. ⸻ 🌱 This Week — The Story of the White Hairs (Pistils) This week, the stars of the show are the white hairs — the pistils. Those fine white strands you’re seeing shooting out of the buds are the female reproductive organs of the plant. Their role is simple, but powerful: They are designed to catch pollen. Each pistil is connected to an ovule inside the calyx. If pollinated, that’s where seeds would form. But in our case — no pollen, no seeds — so the plant continues to push energy into: 👉 resin production 👉 bud swelling 👉 terpene expression That’s why you’ll notice: • fresh, bright white pistils = active growth phase • constant new pistil production = plant still building mass And right now? She’s in full production mode. ⸻ 🌿 Structure & Development What’s really interesting here is the morphology. These are currently the most compact plants in the room, sitting around ~90 cm, but: • dense structure • tight internodes • bud sites stacked closely The buds themselves are already: • forming tight • showing early frost • pushing aroma earlier than expected For a plant that never had a traditional veg window, this is honestly impressive. ⸻ 🌡️ Environment & Feeding We’ve kept things stable and consistent: • Temperature: ~28°C • Humidity: ~65% RH • pH: ~6.5 • EC: ~2.0 Water intake is sitting at around 1.5L per plant per day, which tells us: 👉 metabolism is active 👉 root zone is functioning well 👉 demand is increasing as flowers build ⸻ ⚡ On the “No Veg” Approach This run continues to reinforce something interesting: You don’t always need a long veg phase to get quality results. What you get instead is: • speed • control over height • uniform canopy • faster turnover But also: • smaller overall plant size • less room for recovery from stress • everything happens quicker, so mistakes show faster It’s a different rhythm — not better, not worse — just a different way to grow. ⸻ 🔮 What to Expect Next Week Looking ahead: You should expect: • pistils continuing to multiply • buds starting to stack and swell more aggressively • resin production increasing noticeably • aromas becoming stronger and more defined What not to expect (yet): • no major calyx swelling peak yet • no heavy pistil browning yet • no final density — we’re still building We’re still in that “construction phase”, not the finishing stage. ⸻ 🤝 Gratitude As always — thank you. To everyone following: • the day ones • the new eyes • the silent watchers • the supporters • even the critics To the community, to GrowDiaries, to the sponsors, to the genetics behind this run — and to everyone growing alongside us. Photography is part of the story — it’s how we share the fine textures, the glow, and the quiet details that words can’t always capture. I’ve also started experimenting with photo stacking — a technique where multiple images, each taken at a slightly different focus point, are layered together to create one perfectly sharp image from front to back. It’s not digital enhancement or AI; it’s pure photography — a way to reveal the plant’s beauty in microscopic depth, from trichome to petal. You’ll even see a few shots of "ghost me" capturing the shots — camera, lens, setup — because every grow deserves not just to be cultivated, but documented like art. Half way through the flowering now. Oreoz from the super sativa seed club is looking great. she loves food and supports HST very well, we did several toppings, and is very suitable for a scrog, she stretch more like a sativa plant, with longer branches but the buds have the typical indica snowball structure, a well balanced hybrid i must say. The smell has some nice hints of chocolate with some gassy creamy background. Very rich in THC and in general a very easy to grow plant. some support is required due to the longer branches

Welcome to the start of week 5!! These ladies are really taking me by surprise with the growth they are getting !! I'm getting really excited to start training these ladies to make myself a kick ass canopy ! I will be topping shortly after they finish the node they are working on now and from there the training will begin. They got slightly over watered when I transplanted them an so the base leaves got minor discolouration but that's ok they are happy , strong and thriving ! A big thank you to the people who take the time to come check out the diary , keep on keeping on !! Happy Growing! -V.G Day#26V Ladies responding well to watering! Growing along going to top at next node ! Day#1 Since watering 1 cup at 520PPM Day#27V Pictures N/A. Growing , growing and growing! Almost time to top !!!! Day#2 Since watering 1 cup at 520PPM Day#28V Pictures N/A. Topped both ladies , time to get them trained !!!! Day#3 Since watering 1 cup at 520PPM Day#29V Pictures N/A. Watered ladies 1 cup each at 150PPM ( B52 only PH 6.3 ) Seem to be healing nice from topping. Day#30V Ladies are responding nicely from being topped Ivy is gonna grow out 4 mains instead of 2 ! Im so pumped !!! Day#1 Since watering 1 cup at 150PPM Day#31V Pictures N/A. I'd like to think the ladies are recovering well from the topping . One will come out with 2 branches and the other with 4. There is definitely some deficiencies present. I had planned on doing a flip to flower however this will put me off for another week or two while I correct any nutritional problem. Other than that they look good, very bushy. What do you guys think? Am I going to have a good 1212?

I am not happy with this strain, but I blame myself, I dried it to quick, allowed a lot of airflow in the dry closet when I should of kept the airflow as minimal as possible, slower you dry the bud, the better the result when it it comes to bud size, aesthetics, aroma, smoothness and when smoking it, the taste on your pallet will be fantastic. However I am hopeful when I bake this strain, I will be amazed 😇

Great week. Girls finishing up and taking longer to drink. Checked trichomes and this plant is ready with mostly cloudy and a spattering of amber. Will harvest tomorrow morning and will provide weights and measures after harvest. Will dry in tent without light and offset circulation. Will keep tent naturally at 67 degrees. I will need to assist with humidifier to get humidity to around 60 RH. Perhaps a wicking cloth in a bucket? Just thinking out options. Update: Cut down the girls and hang them up to dry. Great thick hard buds. Can't wait to see what they smoke like, but it is going to take time to dry. Thanks to everyone that helped to make this a successful harvest. I will weigh the harvest before starting cure after a closer trim.

She's cruising. I'm letting her drink everything and just adding remixed nutes every third day. Calibrated the pH pen after I saw a little sign she was showing signs of a mild deficiency. She's blown up the last couple days and it seems like she started stretching again. I added the Plagron Green Sensation and I'm definitely loving the results it brings, doubling down the PK boost with some Bud Explosion as well so we should see these flowers swell up to match that beautiful frost, which definitely pops on those purple flowers. Let's see where this week takes us!

Hello This is the end of week 6 and the beginning of week 7 of veg. Turned the dehumidifier on this week. The rh was up to 65% in here and I don't need any WPM to show up. Everything else is going good here. I got out another large tray out to spread the plant out some more. I wanted to get the plants out to the greenhouse at the end of March, but the weather is still cold here, so, we'll see. Got lots of branch tips poking out from the lower fanleaves. They should spread out good when I get them on the SCRoG table. 5 or 6 females showed their sex last week and I saw 3 males that have little balls forming, So I've got a few more plants to show their sex. I'll look again next watering. I'll take off some more bottom leaves off this week. It will make it easier to water and that will promote more upwards growth. OK. Be Cool. Chuck.

*Week 4 Flower 09/24* Both Mimosa girls appear to be running fine with Mimosa (1) running a little behind but is catching up accordingly. Small oversight in early growth resulted in a minor stunt but she is improving dramatically. Water Feed has increased by half a gallon ( 1gallon clean - .5 gallon nute feed) *Week 4 Flower 09/28 - Mid week update* Both plants are flowering accordingly - Mimosa (1) is a bit taller then Mimosa (2) Buds are becoming dense and covered in trichomes. No deficiencies - No areas of concern - Potassium and Phosphate feeds continue *Week 5 Flower end of week recap - 09/30* Both Mimosa's are flowering nicely - Budsites covered in frosty trichomes. Mimosa (2) looks shorter but that is because her COLA was tied down to expose bottom budsites.

The plant is thriving as it enters its 11th week of flowering. The buds have developed beautifully, and they’re giving off a sweet, lemony aroma that fills the grow space. It’s a scent that’s both refreshing and promising, making me excited for the final product. At this stage, everything looks great, and I’ve decided to start flushing the plant with clear water only. This should help remove any residual nutrients and ensure a smoother, cleaner smoke. I’m planning to continue flushing for the next one to two weeks before harvesting. I’m really looking forward to seeing how this plant turns out. The buds are dense and sticky, and if the smell is any indication, the end result should be amazing. Can’t wait to see how she finishes!
