This week was fun, trimming my final product from my last grow was a pleasure, not a pain 🤓. It was very satisfying. Received my seeds early in the week and had to wait a few days to get everything cleaned and ready to go, again, didn’t seem like chores… I think I’m hooked! Started germinating Nov 13/am, tap roots poking out 24 hours later! I’ll wait till they are a bit larger to plant. I’ll be planting directly into 5 gallon fabric pots, no transplanting. **update** Germination- seeds were planted after 48 hours. 2 sprouted, 36 hours later, so Day 1 would technically be Wednesday,November 16th…One went down because of the fiend pictured…He’s been hanging out with me more and more in the grow spot, I’ve also been giving him leaves while I trim, when the plants are vegging… I had the tent open, and he came in a little hard to sniff and pulled one sprout right out, and before I realized what was happening, he swallowed it up with a quick lick of his nose… 🤦 Started two more Wednesday PM, both seeds popped, they were planted Friday PM, no sprouts yet… 😌 sigh…. in the meantime, I received my 5 gallon fabric pots, so we’re now running 3 AK-47 from Crop King Seeds, withe the upgraded pots 😊👍

Hey now, hope everyone is having a great weekend and staying safe. It was a great week for the 5 mainlines, they are all close to 20 inches tall, with 8 mains, and I decided to flip them all to flower today on day 49. If the ladies double in height by the end of the stretch, they should be around 40 inches tall and my lights are at 52 inches so that would give me about a foot between the canopy and the lights. I am still feeding GH nutrients, silica, cal mag, and maxi grow. I will transition to flower nutrients in about a week. I have found that it is important to continue feeding plenty of Nitrogen through the stretch. The only way I would transition sooner is if I was running out of vertical space. Still very happy with the Spectrum X from Medic Grow. I am running her at 69% and the plants seem very happy and healthy. The heat and humidity are finally letting up in my region so it is nice to be able to open some windows and drop the temp outside the grow tent. Die Blütenstände sind zwar groß, die einzelnen Blüten jedoch sind sehr luftig, was die weitere Trocknung sicher noch verstärkt. Ich hätte mir ein kurzes Statement von FastBuds in der Wachstumszeit gewünscht. Schließlich sieht die große nicht aus, wie im Katalog. Bloom week 1: I don’t really have too many pictures of this plant in veg. I didn’t plan to bloom her, but after some training she just looked pretty good. This plant is huge compared to my other 2. She’s about 6 months old. I’ve only fed this plant about 3 times. I fed her yesterday for the first time in probably about 2 months. The plant looks good considering I’ve give her such little love. Hopefully with regular feeding she will blow up… but not too big for my tent I hope.

On day 1 I changed out my reservoir. I lowered my nutes to 650 ppm(25% reduction). I adjusted the PH down to 6.1. My left plant has some burnt tips from either PH shift or over fertilization. My hope is that the lower ppm will help to resolve the issue before it spreads. On day 2 I adjusted the reservoirs PH from 6.3 to 5.9. On day 3 the reservoirs PH is 6.0. I installed my new 200 watt HLG Rspec. I adjusted PPFD readings to 700-1300 PPFD on all tops. On day 4 I adjusted the reservoirs PH from 5.8 to 6.2. On day 5 I adjusted the reservoirs PH from 6.4 to 6.0. I diluted my nutrients in my reservoir by removing one gallon of nutrients from the rez and and adding 2 gallons of straight tap water to the rez. This brought the nute concentration from 770 ppm to 540 ppm as the plants will be entering the ripening stage in a few days and they have too much nitrogen judging by the extremely dark green leaves and burnt leaf tips on some branches of the left side plant. The buds seem slightly smaller then my last run which may be due to an excess of nitrogen and maybe not enough light as some of my tops are taller then the others making proper PPFD challenging. All in all the girls are coming along nice and I look forward to the final weeks of flowering 😀 On day 6 I adjusted the reservoirs PH from 5.9 to 6.2. I think I have halted the nute burn as I haven't seen it progressing any more on the leaves. I will continue to monitor closely during these final weeks. The trichome production is increasing with some trichs on top of colas starting to go cloudy. The pistils are turning brown with roughly 40-50% are turning brown all signs I'm getting closer to the harvest window 😆. I dimmed my light to give 600-1000 PPFD to tops. On day 7 I reduced my temps to 75 during the day and 68 at night. I adjusted the PH of the reservoir from 6.6 to 6.1. My reservoirs ppm was too high so I diluted the rez with 2 gal of tap water. This brought it down to 480ppm. The average ppfd to all 14 tops is 604 with no top receiving more than 1000 ppfd

So far first week of flower been great, watching as the days goes by. I defoliated and top dressed a week before flip and they are super bushy already. Looking forward to stripping them again sometime end of next week. Feed them every other water with little run of, soil and water ph tested every other day. No complaints so far. Got a new light this week, it's basically a HLG 260 R-Spec except locally manufactured using the same Samsung LEDs. Big Mumma got her 60x60cm tent today and will go in there under one Viparspectra 300W blurple (130w from the wall). I trimmed her, super cropped her main stem and added a scrog net in preparation of flowering her in the next couple of days. Because my other plants were getting up past 75cm after 7 days of flower (100cm is my absolute max) , I decided to supercrop the canopy back down to about 60-65cm - it was pretty scary and I definitely broke the outer stem on some of them. Also gave them a good trim. Fortunately most bounced back strong the next day which are the most up-to-date photos you see (17/4/20).

Start of week 4 of flowering. Week 3 went well, even with temps reaching 35°c in the closet. I've since added another fan to circulate more air, temps have dropped down to 31°c. Despite the heat stress, the plants are growing rather well and bud sites are developing nicely. Light defoliation again this feeding. Based on the heat issues, I need to upgrade my exhaust fan, 100 CFM isn't enough to get ride of the heat.
