Week 5 of vegging has come to an end. The girls are drinking daily and the new tops are developing nicely. I've been stressing the tops a bit, bending them down to let light hit the next set of nodes. The light is now at 24" and at 60 %. I'll be adjusting the intensity and height to keep dli relative. I've also been gradually decreasing light time over the course of 6 days and are currently at 14 hours. The next week will be transition to flower, giving me approximately 9 weeks to finish. Stay tuned.

8/21/24 gave her some cal mag from the uprising foundation. 5 ml total for the 5 gal pot. 3 tsp of grow and 2 tsp of bloom. slowly transitioning from grow to bloom over the course of 4 weeks. did some light defoliation and some lollipopping. shes not too bushy in the sense of leafy. her fan leaves have super long petioles. 8/26 she's grown four inches so far this week. about an inch a day. wild.

Update July 15th I was wrong about the smell. It’s actually very diesel like and I’m excited about the result. Bud swell still massively going on. But also the first leaves are becoming colorful so it’s fall time. 🔜 it’ll be ready. Update July 12th Approaching the finish line. Bud swell has started on all sites. Samy is pushing pistils and calyxes everywhere. Some of them calyxes are extraordinarily fat. What’s also interesting is the thick sugar coating. Trichomes look like super big. Seems to be an interesting strain also for bubble hash. Smell is also kicking in. Not yet the diesel intensity I’m expecting but what am I expecting anyway 😝….

Rest assured, our Epic Buzz has been far from neglected during this time. This week's entry is a celebration of resilience and flourishing growth. Let’s delve into the details: Despite the reservoir not being changed in the last 14 days, our Epic Buzz has shown remarkable resilience. A modest addition of Orca and a bit of boost to feed the fungi has been more than sufficient. The plant has become a spectacle of health within the reservoir, developing an intricate root ball and sporting sizable fan leaves. This vigorous growth is a clear indicator of the strain's robust genetics and its compatibility with the hydroponic environment. All side branches have been intentionally removed to direct the plant’s energy towards vertical growth, a technique that's paying off with the plant’s current stature. The light intensity remains at a conservative 25% to encourage stretching. This cautious approach is shaping the plant into a true beauty, with an ideal structure that should transition well into the flowering stage. As we edge closer to the flowering phase, anticipation builds. The plant’s current vigor gives me high hopes for its performance during blooming. The sight of the Epic Buzz in its vegetative glory is a promising prelude to the potential explosion of flowers. The ladies are thriving, flipped to 12/12 today, put in week 1 of flower nuts and after 1 week of that.. I will put in my flower spectrum light for maximum results.

Gear Updates: All Systems Go 🚀 This week, everything’s dialed in perfectly with the TrolMaster system. Shout out to the incredible DSH-2U Humidity Station! 🌬️ This tool is giving me precision control over the RH (relative humidity) ranges in the room, keeping the environment just right for my babies. Having that accurate readout and control allows me to maintain optimal levels for each stage of growth. It’s like magic—you plug it in, set the desired ranges, and let it do its thing! 🌡️ By monitoring and adjusting humidity levels on-the-fly through the TrolMaster app, I can ensure the environment remains stable, and that means happier plants and healthier growth! No more guessing games. From anywhere—whether I’m working in the garden or chilling out—I can track and tweak it all. Heck, I could be on the toilet and still have complete control over my room! 😂 The AMP-3 Precision Meter has been running 24/7 in my water solution, giving me real-time updates so I can make any corrections when needed, right from my phone. This tech has taken my grow to another level. ✨ Nutrition Update: Keeping It Balanced 🍃 As for feeding, we’re sticking with the basics to give the plants what they need, without overloading. Right now, I’m running: • Regulator: 0.15ml/l • Startbooster: 0.25ml/l For now, I feel like this is the sweet spot—just enough to encourage root development and early growth without overloading them. on day 21 of flower the 2 lady have got a new Haircut. Also some composttea on day 22 of flower. Light hits the plants with around 850 PPFD. Both plants look very similar (same leaf shape and structure), but one is about 15% larger than her sister. They both look healthy and vigorous.

Not much to say about this week. I still have not taken over ORGA Bloom which is my base and I will not do it until the end of the culture. We see that the resin is present and that the heads grow. I’m not going to leave it at that, so I’ll tell you what I’m going to do for week seven of flowering. So I do not take back my base but I keep my additives and I add two products to make my heads swell, Nirvana and Overdrive from Advanced Nutrients to the recommended dosages. I will also increase my watering volume to 6L of nutrient solution for 14L of substrate.
