Nicely growing along. Working toward 16 colas on the more established plant. The small was topped and then this weekend started to train its 4 off shoots. Decided to trim after the second node as the others seems to stretch further than I would have liked, however the older IX plant is really not stretchy at all - so well see how it turns out. The smaller one needs alternative training in order to move the second node from an up/down growth to a side to side. Lots of training - noticing that the ground cover is a bit too aggressive and getting in the way of light distribution so having to trim that back quite a bit. Also its making it hard for the training ties to stay in the ground. Weekly nutes continue with same mix above.

For this week, since its second week of bloom, will give it a P boost to the 1st gen mother to make sure she knows it's time to switch gears and flower. So taking out Flora Bloom and added dry Koolbloom which is 1-42-22 450PPM and also added 100 PPM of Flora Grow and 100 of CaMg for my main macro/supplement. Will be doing silica every other week and Hydro guard every week (since I found brown slime) Will resume with Flora Bloom next week. Been only doing Hydro for cloning and vegging so its my first time encountering brown Slime. Anyone know how I can get rid of it? What I know... - Need to lower PH to closer to 5-5.5 from 6.0 - Added Hydro Guard to fight slim - Minimize Air Stone duration - Been having it on pretty long because I have one large pump and I use it to brew Compost tea for my organic grow. - Need to minimize light penetration to resi - I have a perforated plastic cover laying around the house and I have been using that to cover the resi and sometime I even forget to put it on. Anything else? I run totally chemical nutes from GH Flora Series. And I have been sharing the PH and PPM meter with my organic nuets which I brew for 36 hours before use. Maybe some of that got contaminated thru that? Cause I have been using the same bucket system (without res) to raise my mothers for almost 7 months already and never encounter any slim before. I think I finally understand what tops are LOL: So please correct me if I am wrong... What I understand: - All tops large or small will "stretch" at the first weeks of flowering - Most of the "stretch" only occurs at the tops - The "stretch" will determine the length of that bud - The "stretch" should be as high as possible BUT with short distances between the NEW internodes that develop during that period. for a large and dense bud. - Don't get confused with stretch that cannabis experience under low light. This week, the plants were defoliated, selectively topped, and lollipopped to prepare them for the flip to flower next week. So far, I'm very happy with the AC Infinity wick watering system. It's been working great and has made watering much more convenient.

Not sure if i will get high if i harvest yet.. any thoughts? 1°c night coming with high of 12°c and then back up to 18-17°c with lows of 8-7 °c i have cut out some bud rot.. otherwise all is will i shake the morning dew off plants and use leaf blower try and make it to week 10 wich is on saturday next week. Greetings friends Allow me to introduce you to my first ever brand spanking new homemade self contained DWC hydroponic system. So for this small experimental cycle, I will be testing various nutritional additives and plant training techniques. I will be sure to record a daily log in order to optimize my progress. Please note I will not be including germination and drying time. Day 1 Mon, 16 July So after a few days germination and nurturing, the plants have been moved to their permanent home. I filled the reservoir with nutrients following the can a websites specific instructions. Day 2 Tue, 17 July I've noticed a small growth in height however, I had a small humidity dome which upon moving slightly damaged the leaves but I noticed some strange spots which may have been from the fertiliser. But I did follow the dosages exactly?? Day 4 Thurs, 18 July Note to self, maybe stick with clones seeing as you get straight into the vegging stage saving maybe a week or two. That and the fact they're free. Ok, so I had to completely empty all my reservoirs because I misinterpreted the CANNA websites feeding schedule. It said 0-3 weeks which I foolishly did not realise was post-germination/sapling. And also one of the smaller plants #3, actually fell over because it's roots still had not dug deep enough to feed on the reservoirs moisture. However, I almost literally saw it pop back up with a tad of rehydration. Note to self a good trick for future reference will be to fill the reservoir right up until it pretty much touches the net pot and then shrinks back down to that even 35L once I begin adding nutrients. Day 5 Fri, 18 July Ok, so I gathered a bit of Intel from my friendly neighbourhood hydroman. First off I can hold off buying the EC meter until next they enter the actual vegetative stage which apparently is between 3 to 5 internodes ( the space between nodes) until then I will be feeding them a fraction amount of veggie fertilizer and rhizotonic. Now, this swamp cooler thing has piqued my curiosity if I'm not mistaken dry ice converts to carbon dioxide which we all know plants love so, that means a swamp cooler can cool, raise humidity and increase co2? In the mean time, I was given a bag of homegrown co2 which I will photograph. This will also counter the high-temperature problems I have been having. Apparently, plants can withstand an additional 10 degrees with the addition of co2 that complemented by silica would prove to be invaluable in the summer. I will be purchasing a humidifier for my saplings soon and have decided to stick with weekly reservoirs, Peace out. Day 7 Sun, 21 July Note to self I think for my cycle if I used a short square shaped reservoirs and perhaps less litres next time with multiple net pots per reservoir and with clones I think that would greatly accelerate vegge time and thus shorter cycles in general Got myself a very good humidifier and added small amounts of vegge fertilizer to the none CANNA plants.

How are we!!? This diary starts off with 4 seeds germinated using the paper towel and ziplock bag method. Placed on a heat mat and covered so they’re in the dark. Successfully all four seeds popped although the White RuntZ took a while longer. Once popped they’re were placed in one inch rockwool cubes and put inside plastic seedling tray with clear cover. After they started getting leggy I planted into clay pebbles in my mushroomtech 4 pot RDWC system. Few times a day they are top fed until roots touch the water.

Day 9 :These 3 ladies have been behaving well and settling in nicely to their new homes. I have initially only given them all a tea of boosts until yesterday when I started adding a little silicon and calmag and a few drops of superthrive. Today I further fed a half strength feed to the coco twins as well. The Los girl is showing a paler growth going on and I am hoping this sorts itself out now they have been fed a little. The charge and ecosystem take a couple of weeks to hit production from fresh potting so the teas will give them a kick start. Once she gets feeding on that scrummy Los grub below , I think she will fly. All in all they have not faltered for their 1st week and considering their surgery done well. I can certainly see a few front runners already among these Fast Bud beauties so let's watch the race hot up now rhet are on both Mars lights.The sp250 will be going on at the 1st signs of flowering so they have 600w full spectrum draw of led to veg with.

Officially day 7 of this adventure! Added a couple more cfl 3 of 1,500 lumen 500k and 2 of 800 lumen 500k Plants are looking si happy and amazing had a little strech problem with a couole but j just added more soil for support and they all look pretty good now! Still have the stragler Chocolate Marshmallow but she looks great!
