Our sweet lady survived a week of raind and intense wind, the golden rope you see was helping the buds to stay still and to help save branches from breaking. The lady is super sugary and sticky right now, but the buds seem like they are not gonna thicken more than that. This plant has been stressed multiple times during her lifetime, from broken branches to light overdose, she has been kept away from direct sunlight since than, so this is the cause we attribute to this slower growth. Our biggest doubt is about harvest time. The buds do not seem big at all, but they look very orange and the breed's harvest is said to be in mid October, so we should start flushing! While I think we should wait untill the last week of the month, F. says i's almost time for drying. 😵😲 Looking at some pics of last year's harvest I am afraid this lady is not going to produce as much as we tought, maybe because this is our first experience with so many nutrients. Hope someone can help about harvest and buds overall look 😬😬

Bang on the start of week 5. Snow flurry are not looking too bad, there structure on I think 4 or 5 are decent. There’s 1 mutant that I’m just gonna let do it’s thing. There short, stout and bushy, quite tricky to Train, as the branches are thick and rock hard, definitely slow in veg as they will be in flower, hopefully it will be worth the wait!!! ✌️🏼

I was too lazy to photograph and record each plant separately, so I took a picture and recorded everything together... this grass has grown too much, in some places it is half way up the plant and you can't see how big the plants actually are, these days I will mow it under them and around them and in the next update I will post individual pictures where everything will look nice...day before yesterday I watered them with clean water, the next watering also with clean water and then I will most likely switch to food for the flower, I will see from the situation. Used less than recommended manufacturers ML/EC/PPM on all products. My goal for now is to get the beneficial microbes and bacteria flowing and stable with minimal nutrients. This is a new setup and nutrient to me, trying to take it easy on the seedlings until I see their reaction. Placed small domes over seedlings to help shade the lights a bit until I see how they react. 48 hours later there is minor growth, will give them another 24-36 hours of monitoring and then remove the domes, LEDS are dimmed to 40% and 40” high currently. Installed Bluelab PH controller to maintain 5.8 PH, trying to work smarter, not harder. So far it’s a breeze and PH has been stable ever since. Interested to see how it performs once the plants are much larger. See you in a week 😀

Oh it was a special week. Day 21 of flower marks the Silver Back Guerilla defoliation day!!!! I left one be. For him. To prove me wrong. BUT!!! That one had some dead leaves at the bottom that needed removal, not the defoliated plants!! Time will tell as to if what Im doing is right. I stick to my guns that this works for my room. Even though I read differently, removal of foliage has lowered my rh. Could very well be outside environment, however. By day 21F the room was a bush again. In my opinion, it needed the heavy defo to breathe. As for light penetration, I am extremely happy with the amount of heads receiving direct light. Noticed some leaves have been flipping over. I recalibrated my ph pen and flushed with water. In fact this begins the final week of flower. Flush is happening as we speak. Started off with draining the res, then top flushed with straight h2o. Drained water again and refilled. Added h2o2 to cleanup any bad bacteria, as i will be reusing all the rocks for the next grow.

Week 4 transplanting 2 today

Wow well she does look sorry for herself. A couple of days ago I sprayed her with pesticide. This has damaged her leaves. I hope she can bounce back from this as it's a critical time in her growth.

Ayyy, look at her growing! i was away for a weekend and look at this jump. The first broken off stem attached itself after taping it. the Second branch i broke off, i tried to attach a cutting from another branch, fixated it with tape and a metal clamp. Which did not work but i think it's because i let too much green on it, so i dried up before it could fix itself. MAYBE. It's just my observation but i want to try every method i can think of, trying to attach a broken off stem again, and I will be successful finding the best technique for me. And i will share it, if i found it! Next time i will remove almost any green so it's just a little stump, i think the shorter the cutting the better. What do you say about the Training so far? (:

Hello Growers and Tokers! 👋 👩‍🌾 🧑‍🌾.🔥💨 Sorry for the delay on the weekly updates, had some things I had to attend but I'm back and at it! 21-day defoliation has come.. These pictures were taken on day 20 of flower As you can see in the pictures I did a little defoliation of the bigger fan leaves. She's pretty advanced compared to the other ladies. Buds sites are formed, strong aroma going. Her structure looks like a straight up garden bush. Took the LST great ended up with a nice open, spread canopy. With the defoliation done, buds will be getting much more light exposure and grow a bit more before gaining weight. Really happy with the results so far with this strain.
