Day 1. Hope all goes well. This time I have my substrate ready, unlike strawberry pie. It took off so fast didn't expect it to break ground in 2 days. Which I just transplanted.

The end of week 9. This week was a bit of a struggle due to temperatures. Airco was missing and a replacement was found after a week. The increasing temperatures caused heat stress to all four plants and slowed growth. The buds are now starting to mature and ripen. The fade is starting now. The trichomes are still underdeveloped with 50% cloudy and 50% translucent. EC will be lower again this week. I'm hoping it will be ready before day 80. Check my other diaries for the progress with the other medusa plants.

day 15 (december 19) start of week 3 roots everywhere plant starts to take of now, the hydro is slightly bigger then the soil plant day 17: the hydro plant made a new set of leaves in just 2 days! day 19: i cut off the lowest leaves of both plants. i do this because on any autoflower these leaves produce a stem that wastes a lot of energy on small nugs. day 20: hydro plant got topped (3nodes) day 21: soil plant got topped (3nodes) same strategy with the topping, i do this early (i could pinch them off with my fingers) to reduce the time to recover. the plants bounce back like they didnt feel it and with the lowest leaf and small tiny stems cut off, these plants will produce 6 main stems with nice big and dense buds instead of a huge christmass tree with more leaves than bud.

Last week of flowering. I defoliated some more to let in more light to the lower buds so they can fatten up. Trics are all cloudy/milky with 1 or 2 yellowish trics.

Node spacing becoming very dense since I switched to feeding just pH water + aptus, ppms in coco still pretty high, they have had 1 week of just water so far and still growing very healthily, not showing any signs of deficiencies, all at growing beautifully. Right now my coco runoff ranges from 2000ppms to 8000ppms, im expecting that will have dropped more by the next feed (tomorrow). Im also thinking about transplanting them into 15ltr pots this week, will give them a lot of extra root space for flowering, right now they are drinking 6 litres every 2/3 days.

I went down with the Ec to 1.2 because I am on the road for two days and it rises well after one day with a slightly higher Ec value. By the time I get back we should be 1.4 - 1.6 Ec :-). PK 13/14 was added to the water which will be completely changed again next week. Otherwise it was cleaned and the health of the plant checked as always. Flowering is going amazing, this candy cane is growing some very fast weight and caking up with Trichome’s. The sweet and slightly minty berry smell is growing in power day by day, and I’m very happy with how the size of the buds are developing since adding the increase of 2-8-4 and fish bone meal, just a little bit, not too much at all and she’s reacting great, knowing that the candy cane is a larger auto in size makes me a bit sad with the total size of this plant, but in its young age as my very first auto I believe I probably stunted it, but after all this and how she looks now Im more than happy with the growth, yield and quality of it, just speaking now as I do not obviously know how much I Will revive from it, I’m guessing about a ounce. No small bud sites other than maybe one on a lower branch that already has a main top cola on it. The main cola is massive and packing on a lot of size. I’ve switched the light to a hour less now as I am growing 2 photo indica L.A grape and with the season change I am having to fix my temp and humidity more for the photos, so changing to a 17-7 schedule has actually helped quite a lot and also has helped my other autos veg slightly better. But all in all I’m very exited!

She now starting to packing these flowers and lol smells so sweet its amazing really nice steuctured plants ,not very thirsty on nutrients ,removed some yellow 🍁

* Week 3 Veg - 1/1/2024 - 4.5 Inches - Topped main cola - Running Raw NPK only nute feed - 1 TSP a day with Myco* Since using mainly all RAW NPK nutrients I have seen a huge difference in size, growing and healthiness.

The heat stress is always a problem in my grows but now I have a new climatization system that can really help me !
