into the 5-gallon bucket with them. looks like they were ready the roots were poking out the bottom holes. let's hope the soil is not too hot for them and they can start eating up all the goodness in the soil. i turned on the other TSL 2000 as well to get the back row. let's see how they respond. this week.

7/8/26 this poor baby was another caterpillar victim. Besides the stunting damage she shook it off ok. Not the biggest and probably not gonna produce a ton but shes doing her thing and looking pretty healthy. Happy growing friends โœŒ๏ธ

Plant is 8 weeks from seed today, stretching has now stopped and she is starting to fill out now. It looks like the feed will sit at 2ml A +B to a litre as she hasn't shown signs of wanting anything more although pk 13/14 will be added in roughly 3 weeks time. She's been drinking a lot more last few days

23.08 The Drainmaster moved into the tent to control the drain. Defoliated and lollipopped them. 25.08 First run with the drain system. Nutrient Solution (Tank): Volume: 8.5 L EC: 3.05 pH: 5.5 Nutrients: Advanced Nutrients Micro/Grow/Bloom + CalMag Irrigation Run: Pump time: 30 minutes Total Drain: 5.0 L (โ‰ˆ 60%) Drain EC: 2.6 Drain pH: 6.0 ๐Ÿ”Ž Observations Drain volume was far too high (target is ~20%). Drain EC lower than input EC โ†’ medium was relatively โ€œemptyโ€, plants absorbed nutrients quickly. pH drift from 5.5 โ†’ 6.0 shows some buffering effect left in the reused substrate, but limited. Substrate behaves more like coco than soil now (low buffer, fast response). ๐Ÿ’ก Insight / Lesson Learned 30 minutes pump time is way too long โ†’ resulted in 60% runoff instead of 20%. For 8 ร— 1 L pots, a single irrigation event should be ~1.0โ€“1.2 L total, with ~200โ€“250 ml runoff. Solution: shorten pump time to ~5 minutes and re-test runoff. Better approach: run shorter, more frequent irrigations (daily) with a lower EC (2.0โ€“2.2), instead of heavy feedings (EC 3.0) only 3ร— per week. This will keep EC more stable in the root zone and prevent salt buildup in the tiny 1 L pots. 27.08 Adjusted the pump timer to 5 minutes, gave the first dose of PK13/14.

Apolo F1 Mission Diary - Week 3: The Ballet of Bend, Blossom, and Root Rhapsody Greetings, fellow cultivators and guardians of the green frontier! Week 3 of our Apolo F1's botanical saga has unfurled with a kaleidoscope of growth and a symphony of roots that dance beneath the surface. Join me as we explore the verdant ballet of bending, the flourishing foliage, and the hidden root rhapsody. This week has been a crescendo of controlled chaos, with the delicate art of bending taking center stage. Each branch gracefully sways and contorts, responding to the gentle nudges like a botanical ballerina in an intricate dance. Our Apolo F1 is not just growing; she's performing a choreography of resilience and elegance. And here's the thrilling revelation - roots! Yes, beneath the soil surface, a clandestine world is unfurling. Root tendrils are popping up like eager spectators in the front row, reaching out to absorb the nutrients and anchor our green virtuoso. It's a root rhapsody, a silent applause to the nutrient-rich symphony we've orchestrated. As I continue to guide the botanical ballet, the TDS in the watering regimen maintains a harmonious 390 ppm, providing our plant with a nutrient-rich libretto. The pH, the conductor of this aqueous symphony, remains a steady 6.0, ensuring optimal nutrient absorption and a thriving performance. Temperature-wise, our Apolo F1 revels in the cozy embrace of a 26-degree Celsius environment. It's like providing the ideal backstage conditions for our botanical star, ensuring she performs at her peak. Now, let's talk about the behind-the-scenes technique โ€“ the bottom feeding spectacle. Water is tossed into the plate, and our green companion sips from this botanical wellspring. It's a refined and controlled drinking session, a sophisticated soirรฉe for our growing virtuoso. And as always, a tip of the hat to Aptus Holland, the maestros of our nutrient symphony. Their meticulous regimen ensures our Apolo F1 gets the VIP treatment from the roots to the tips of her flourishing foliage. As we marvel at the ongoing dance of growth and the flourishing of our green virtuoso, I extend my gratitude to the digital coliseum, Grow Diaries, for being the stage where our horticultural epic unfolds. And to Royal Queen Seeds, whose Apolo F1 has become the star of this green opera. In the next enthralling chapter of our Apolo F1 Mission Diary, we'll witness the continued ballet of growth and the root rhapsody beneath the surface. Until then, may your gardens flourish and your green endeavors be ever bountiful! As always thank you all for stopping by and for supporting me on this journey, i am super passion about growing and fell blessed to have you all with me on this new journey

Day 55 - 18/11/19 i still think another 1-2 weeks for this one, getting a jewelers loupe for the beginning of week 9 so i can tell exactly where were at in terms of harvest :) anyone got any thoughts on this little plant? have a look at the photos and videos and let me know in the comments below :) oh and i finally nailed what this strains smell is - tropical hubba bubba gum with cheese :'D Day 59 - 22/11/19 Got my jewelers loupe 2 days ago and ive been having a look at them. its pretty hard to see for a newbie grower. ive looked at harvest guides online and seen pictures of clear, cloudy and amber trichomes. mine look mostly cloudy (60%) and slightly glassy (40%) with barely any ambers. i may be wrong but the reason i think its cloudy is that it looks white against the leaves instead of see through or like glass. so going on this for my first trichome inspection im gonna harvest in the middle of next week. Smell is getting strong enough to stink out a room, still that tropical cheese smell, although its just so pungent it lingers in the rooms after bringing it out of the tent to inspect it. smell isnt a problem if you put it back in the tent and spray some air freshener stuff in the next room. the carbon filter is doing its job exactly as described along with the fan. The fan leaves started to get yellow patches and sugar leaves starting to curl. and a friend thinks its nearing the end of its life. I flushed yesterday and will flush again today to drain out any excess salts and nutes. Thanks for following along. im excited for week 9! Happy Growing!

16.2.25: I decided to check out the lower canopies of all plants to see if I need to get rid of any foliage. I did get rid of a few small branches and leaves. However, whilst I was doing this, I saw more garden pegs from my LST remaining. There were about 6 or more in Pink Mist alone. Additionally, on Watermelon, there were some left in, too. I'm so annoyed to see that because the plants are really stretching, and I could've potentially disrupted this by leaving the pegs in for all this time without realising it. ๐Ÿคž that I haven't compromised things too much. We'll see. I watered today with 2ltrs of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.3 containing the following nutrients; โ™ก .8g Green Leaf Nutrients PK booster โ™ก .5g Ecothrive Biosys I ordered quite a few things for the garden. I got Greenleaf Nutrients Sea K(elp) and Mega Crop Parts A+B. To go with their PK Booster I got last month. I'm excited to try it all together. Next run, maybe just using these. We'll see how it goes. 18.2.25: The plants are going crazy for water! Everything is getting used right up so fast! Today, I decided to add some more Black Strap Molasses to add some carbs and other micronutrients. I'll add the jar with the label in the photos section above. I watered a very small amount to each plant. What I put in: โ™ก Black strap molasses 150g โ™ก 2g Sea K(elp) Greenleaf nutrients. I dissolved everything in 4ltrs of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.4. 19.2.25: I received the majority of the garden purchases that I made. I'm still waiting for the Ecothrive Life Cycle. I wanted to top dress, but it's been delayed unfortunately. I am using my Greenleaf nutrients products which I bought on Amazon. I got the Mega Crop 2 part system Part A and Part B. I have the Sea K(elp), and the bud explosion PK booster. I really wanted to get some of their sweet candy asking read many positive reviews. Unfortunately, for me, this is unavailable to buy currently. So that's a little disappointing. I needed to do a good watering so when my nutes were delivered today, I got excited ๐Ÿค— I watered 2ltrs of dechlorinated water per plant, PH'd to 6.4, containing the following nutrients: โ™ก 1g Mega Crop Part A โ™ก 1g Mega Crop Part B โ™ก .5g Sea K(elp). The plants drank this up within a few hours. I'm going to try and hold off on watering in hopes that my Ecothrive Life Cycle will arrive so I can top dress and water it in then. 20.2.25: My Ecothrive Life Cycle arrived yesterday, and the plants are ready for their top dress and a good watering in. I have some Biobizz Light Mix, Canna Coco, and perlite. I'm going to use this as a base to mix my amendments in. I'm going to fill my 5 gallon bucket with about 4.5 gallons of my top dress mix. I will distribute this across 6, 4-5 gallon pots. Then I will water in well with Greenleaf nutrients Mega Crop Parts A+B and Sea K(elp). I've made a crude attempt to video mixing my top dress. Don't listen to the audio. lol, my YouTube didn't stop playing whilst I recorded this ๐Ÿ˜‚ So anyway, I added the following amendments to the above base mix of 4.5 gallons; โ™ก 3 TBSP Ecothrive Life Cycle โ™ก 3 TBSP Vitalink Bat Guano โ™ก 3 TBSP Ecothrive Charge โ™ก 1 TBSP RHS Mycorrhizal Fungi granules โ™ก 6 TBSP Ground Cinnamon.

Blue Cheese is officially in beast mode. Sheโ€™s spread wide like a bonsai and with over 30+ bud sites across a flat canopy. Every top is reaching for the lightโ€”sheโ€™s stacking up nicely and loving the MPK boost. The smell is starting to whisper cheesy promises, and the stretch is just about done. Leaves are praying, growth is explosive, and airflow is steady. To do list Light defoliation to open up lower sites. Feeding bloom nutrients + MPK for stacking.

Welcome growers And also the tirth week of life is finished for this three ladyes, three phenos of SORBET#4 ๐ŸŒฟ๐ŸŒฟ๐ŸŒฟ๐Ÿง I have decided to show you the all family, so , in this way we can see if they show some differences ๐Ÿ˜‰ For now I have two pretty similar, with a large leafs and internodes very close to each one.. And another one a little different , more Sativa in aspect, with a large structure that increase the lights penetration, which means more growing for the lower branches ๐Ÿ’ฏ Anyway.. In the begining of the week I transplanted into a 3l plastic pot.. Usually my choice of pot is the smartpot or the airpot ๐Ÿ’ฏ And therefore, considering that the soil will obviously remain less aerated than usual, I have chosen to use a greater quantity of coco coir in the substrate I roughly prepared a mix of 50% light-mix (Canna professional and Biobizz), a 30% of coco coir (Atami), 10% worm-cast or humus (Atami) and around a 5% perlite wich it's already present in the light -mix.. I have also put a few micorizzae (Micosat F), like 10 grams, in direct contact with the roots and around 4 grams of Microlife (Bionova) in pellet form I will use this last one also for making an areated Tea, but during flowering.. About nutrients ๐Ÿ‘‡ In this week i have giving their always organic/veganic nutrients.. Root-Juice (Biobizz) and Rizostimo (Biomagno) for the last time, plus a little bit of silicium (Bionova) and then Activator (Biomagno) / Crescita (Biomagno) / The Missing Link (Bionova) / X-Cell (Bionova) {This last two i have used in a foliar spray solution} Simply a little bit of everything at any watering ๐Ÿ’ง About the lights ๐Ÿ’ก I currently using for the first time, two Mars-Hydro SP3000, running at 25% of the power for now.. Next week im going to increase at least to 50% โฌ†๏ธ Onestly this lights looks pretty solid, definetly intense, with a spectrum really close ro the sun light One of the cool things about it it's that you can connected each one toghter with a cable and so you can controll the intensity of the lights very easy, in a precis way ๐Ÿ‘Œ We will see in this months how they works And that's all.. See you in week nยฐ4 ๐Ÿ“† Thanks a lot for stopping by ๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿ‘ FC โœŒ๏ธ ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡น

I busted myself up so havent been able to get into the grow much for a couple weeks. They are definitely thirsty and not getting enough water so will water more deeply next time around a gallon per tote a day.
