Flower Week 6 – Ripening Phase Begins The girls are now in week 6 of flowering, and the ripening phase has officially begun! The buds are noticeably denser, and resin production has kicked into overdrive — the trichomes are mostly cloudy, with a few early amber heads starting to appear. This week’s macro shots show the frost levels going insane, with every surface covered in sticky crystals. 24K Gold is showing classic ripening behavior: Her pistils are beginning to darken and curl inwards, while the calyxes start to swell. The aroma is becoming very pronounced — a sweet citrus funk mixed with a deep earthy undertone. Gelato 33 continues to build resin like crazy. The buds are slightly smaller but completely coated in trichomes. She’s developing that creamy-sweet scent typical of the strain, filling the tent with a dessert-like smell. Both plants still look perfectly healthy — the feeding routine and semi-hydro setup are keeping everything stable. Light intensity and airflow remain ideal, ensuring no mold or stress signs during this dense phase. Nutrients & Conditions: • 💧 Canna Coco A + B → 8 ml/L • 📈 EC 1.8 | pH 5.8 • 🌡️ Temperature: 25 °C day / 20 °C night • 💧 Humidity: 40–45 % • 💨 Airflow: High circulation to support trichome development The buds are swelling, trichomes are maturing fast, and the smell is becoming seriously intense. We’re now entering the final stretch — the next two weeks will focus on trichome color and terpene expression before the flush begins.

Another strong week, opted to do some last minute defoliation just to help afew bud sites get light. Shes frosting beautifully ;)

The smell on this one is next-level for real! I got 2–3 different phenos, but they all carry that same loud scent I’d describe it as sweet and fruity I honestly can’t wait to smoke it, and judging by the insane layer of trichomes she’s rocking, I already know she’s gonna hit hard.😝😝

Día 15. Las plantas ya alcanzaron un altura muy buena. Ya empiezan a aparecer los primeros pelos blancos. Por el momento me ha sorprendido la reacción de las plantas al bud blood. Si puedo voy a comprar bud candy para ayudar un poco a la mezcla. Por el momento decidí mantener el bud blood a media dosis durante una semana más con el big bud. Veremos que tal resulta. Día 17. El estirón siguió y las plantas alcanzaron 51 cm. Las pequeñas directamente quedaron tapadas. En este experimento se puede ver la diferencia entre tierra e hidroponia. La verdad que estoy sorprendido. Creo que los productos usados son los que han marcado la diferencia. Las plantas quintuplicaron la altura total que tenían al momento de pasarlas a floración. Y sospecho que van a seguir estirándose una semana más. Espero no tener problemas de altura porque no lo planeaba. Creo que voy a cortar algunas ramas bajas más, dado que se están generando muchas sombras nuevas. Seguiré actualizando. Día 19. El estiramiento continua, pero levemente. Ya alcanzaron 55cm. Estuve cortando algunas ramas y hasta supongo que podría cortar más. Pero a esta altura ya todo lo que hay recibe buena luz. La diferencia entre la madre que está en tierra y los esquejes en hidroponia, es cada vez más notoria. Si bien ya la he visto, tener una planta al lado de la otra bajo la misma luz, hace la parte alevosa de todo esto. De todos modos, he comprobado que el sabor obtenido en tierra, es más fiel al de la hidroponia. En hidroponia en principio, las plantas son mas fuertes en todo, pero el sabor de alguna forma, es demasiado afectado por los nutrientes. Incluso habiendo lavado dos o tres semanas, la planta sostiene un sabor constante en todas las variedades, que parece estar atado a la nutrición. Siendo que en tierra, cada variedad tiene su sabor distintivo, siendo una distinta de otra. La próxima actualización será en la nueva semana, ya que al quedar poca solución, la voy a cambiar antes y voy a poner 12 litros en lugar de los 10 que vengo usando. Las plantas vienen comiendo mucho.

Plants seemed close to finish so i defoliated on day 52. The plants went through shock. I will not be doing this again Attempting Generative steering, i dropped humidity and allow the pots to dry out more. Watering every 2 days by hand

- She stretched so much this week, i'm worried shell get too tall for the bucket. - Drinking a lot more as well. - No signs of pre-flowers yet, if heard this could be a trait of this strain. - Cant take any photos because my phone camera broke, enjoy the sick time-lapse tho!

Sigue creciendo bien, súper frondosa, semana a semana se le van quitando las hojitas que tapan los brotes y se amarran las ramas mas grandes al contenedor.

Week 2 7/26- All the girl's are doing great. I had to use some horticulture wire to prop up a couple of the girls that got a little 'top heavy'. Giving 12oz water ph'd to 6.3-6.5 as needed 2 hours after 'lights on' around each plant, and every other day in the saucers (1/4g/ea) to allow the medium to wick it up and stay moist. Temp's running 72-81deg with an average RH of 55-60%. I'd like to have the RH a bit higher but the girl's seem to be doing fine at the present. 😎Ordered another HLG 650R with the supplemental UV Bar to replace the two SunSystems 315 CMH's....should be a game changer! 💪 Also have an AC Infinity 6" exhaust system w/controller on the way to replace the Hurricane 400cfm fan I'm currently running along with another TerraBloom 6'x24" carbon filter as my current filter is losing efficiency. 7/27- Watered today ph'd to 6.4 with 2 tbsp/gallon unsulfured molasses added. I split 2 1/2g between the eight girls by pouring 12oz around each plant and then dividing the rest in their saucers to be wicked up. Temp's, RH and CO2 all on point! 7/28- Light watering today with straight non-chlorinated water ph'd to 6.5. Growth is looking great across the board. Even the late starters, Seedsman Zkittles #1 & #2, are coming along nicely! All the ladies are averaging in height between 2 1/2' - 3 1/2" and should be getting ready to explode as their root systems become more established and are able to start taking in more nutrients. Fans are running 24/7 to strengthen the stalks....they're gonna need it to support the buds these ladies will be sporting in a couple months! 7-29- Watered all through the bottom today with straight .5g non-chlorinated water ph'd to 6.3. Temp's, RH, CO2 and VPD all on point. Unhooked carbon filter from hose as it's losing efficiency restricting exhaust air flow. Girl's all growing STRONG especially the #1 Seedsman Gelato OG in Fox Farm/Nature's Living Soil mix and the FastBuds Purple Lemonade #2 also in the Fox Farms/Nature's Living Soil mix with the Seedsman Gelato OG #2 in SOHUM soil is getting close. I appears the two girl's in SOHUM soil are not quite as tall as the others but are leafing out well and are stocky with close node spacing.....hmmm? 7/30- Lift checked all the pots and gave 2 1/2g straight non-chlorinated water ph'd to 6.4 with 2 tbsp of unsulfured molasses added. I split the 2 1/2g evenly between all eight giving 20oz through the top and the remainder in the pans to be wicked up. I turned up the HLG 650R to 400w at the wall and kept the height the same. My AC Infinity Cloudline T6 exhaust and new Terrabloom 6x24" carbon filter came today, as did the UV bar from HLG for the HLG 650R that'll be here on the 3rd.....CAN'T WAIT!!! All the girl's are really doing well and starting to begin 'gettin it on'! All are healthy and running between 3-4" tall. Side note: While installing the new exhaust fan setup on of my pooches sneaked in the room and munched off a half of a shade leaf on the #1 Purple Lemonade....she's definitely got good taste!😆 In the process of installing the AC Infinity fan I relocated it and the filter to the left side of the tent and re-routed the cold air intake hoses so that both enter the tent at the bottom and are positioned at either side of the tent. I setup the AC Infinity which is a breeze, set all my high/low limits and alarms and let here run! Temperatures now are running 72-81 deg. and RH is remaining stable @ 55%, CO2@800ppm. All in all a good day!😎👍 7/31- Water looks good on all the girls. I'll just top water lightly today with straight de-chlorinated water ph'd to 6.5. The AC Infinity is really a 'game changer' as temp's are now staying in a stable range without having to adjust the settings on my Ideal Air 14k BTU AC unit...niceee! All my ladies are finishing up their second week like champs and I'm looking forward to the next few weeks as when their root systems reach the 'super-soil' they are going to hopefully have some explosive growth. I'll also be evaluating all of them in the coming week to determine candidates for topping and LST to begin. 8/1- The second HLG 650R came today! I tidied up the tent before installing the 650R: moved EXHALE CO2 bags-one on each side, vacuumed, took care of any loose hanger cords and re-positioned the three thermometers/hygrometers. I installed the second HLG 650R w/UV bar in the tent and set both lights to 400w @ the wall and have both boards centered, level and hung @ 36" from the soil. These lights are AWESOME! I checked temp's on the boards & drivers after they were running for 4 hours: 98deg on the drivers and 94deg on the board...pretty freakin sweeet! Gave the girl's a day off from water as they all looked GTG and are all getting ready to really turn on! I plan on hitting them early tomorrow morning with a good watering. Temp's-RH-VPD all on point for this week. I've been continuing to run the humidifier set @ 60% RH and I'm going so far as to ph the water going into it to see if it makes a difference as my well water runs 7.8ph @225ppm dissolved solids and I hypothesized that as the plants were absorbing the moisture from the air it might be beneficial to have that moisture at the correct ph.....we'll see I guess!

This lady had some beautiful colors throughout the grow, she wasnt quite as sticky as I expected giving the name but all around great smoke! Will be growing this again with a different feeding schedule to see if I can get a little more out of her but still happy with the results! Thanks for following & happy growing friends!

Day 14 Veg: A great start to the week once they settled into their new pots. hopefully i havent stunted their progress. The mutant Banana Mash is now trying to normalise a little more with new growth. Still fairly twisted but on the mend. The other 3 are more typical of new plants with their growth . I have topped one and fimmed another with one being left natural at this point. They are on their 5th node mainly ( except mutant!) and I am hoping to open their frames right up to get light to all new growth equally. I don't think they will grow too tall by design and I don't want to limit their growth in any way so i will gently manage them as they grow. The Purple Monkey are doing brilliantly so far with plenty of vigorous growth among them. I am holding the 5th nodes down on two of them and have fimmed one. These are in bigger 60L pots so should use the space to its best I think. I also have 2 plants that came from the recent harvest. One of the ladies must have had a pollen sack hid away that managed to seed a few of the exotic girls amd visited some possible viable hybrids. 2 of these are now in the grow alongside. I will be watching them like a hawk and any sign of a testicle will result in a slaughtering of the LGBGTQ sympathiser instantly . lol We do male or female only unlike the human race !!. heehee ( bit of a political hot potato!). I gave them an actual megacrop feed today to boost the available elements for the speedy growth coming. The L.o.s is still active and providing enough nutrition but I am trying to avoid the drop once the stretch period gets busy and saps the available food from it. This seems to have been happening most crops since beginning using it to avoid the leaves losing their solent green colour too fast like starvation can cause. I also added a touch of calmag to counter the L.e.d leeching that often occurs in flowering. So there we have it Growmies. A good week with the beginning of l.s.t and some promising growth. Another issue that I have managed to resolve is the R.h. We are getting warm dry air now so the room is getting silly hot and very dry at around 40% . This is great for the flowering times but has been an issue for veg in the past. not wanting to invest in a humidifier that is costly and expensive to run , I had resulted to using towels in buckets to attempt to raise it this does work in a totally sealed tent , in my leaky d.i.y "tailored " one , this has been hard to maintain. The solution came in the form of a vicks vaporiser that I bought from fleabay. It works perfectly to bring up the rh to around 70% on its lowest setting. The tank is enough to hold a days supply of water and shuts off with the lights. simple but effective fix to a common problem we face indoors. Be safe and well. Until next time. So far so good plants seem happy gonna start slowly bringing the humidity down start of next week it hovers between 60 an 65 at the moment will bring it down slowly 5% each week 🤙🤙

Quarter Pounder and Skywalker are probably over due for final flushing. Squanch Queen is doing very well and looking to go 9 to 10 weeks. King tut and Alien Technology doing well. However, i did a spray of insecticidal soap due to seeing a couple small holes in a few king tut leaves. Next day plant was shocked and lost tons of leaves to burn. This plant did this once before with the same spray, the others no problem and didnt connect the two til now. Will let her veg back to health and flip to flower once shes healthy again and the autos are done.
