Week 5 check-in 🌱🔥 We keep rollin’, growmies! 💪 Last week’s heavy training sesh is paying off, the stretch has finally stopped and those side branches are poppin’ off! The girls are starting to bush out nicely 🌿✨ Had a slight cal deficiency, so I switched over to my trusty Green House Feeding Calcium. Not too happy with the Terra Aquatica CalMag, tbh Aside from that, they’re looking healthy and vibing strong 💚 Did the first major defoliation — mainly opened up the center to let those secondaries soak up more light ☀️ Two waterings this week: one with plain water + cal, and one full-on nutrient mix 💧💪 Seems like the girls are lovin’ the light levels, so we kept it at 60% intensity, 45 cm above the canopy ☀️💡 They’re soaking it up real nice! 🌿

Mandarin XL auto is growing great. She is progressing more into a flower stage. Everything is looking really promising at the moment. Nothing new to report this week. ******Week 5 Veg - Jan 6 to 12, 2020 This was a week of growth. She grew up and did very well with a couple of her side branches thickening up. She is a very healthy girl but she is not flipping. I wrestled with this weeks journal because I wanted to get it started to show her great growth but all along I was not sure if I call this week a flower week or not. In the end I waited and I am calling it a Veg week😥😥 She is not flipping......freaking wants to though by all signs.......I got a suspicion but I hope I am wrong......I don’t want to run two flower cycles! IPM spray with Lost Coast Plant Therapy.......recent thrips experience and staying with a preventative cycle💀👻 Some branches are stiffening since the introduction for silica but others are still very pliable. The main stem is still very “bendy” and perfect for LST right now. Too soft for entering flower given the silica. Why? She has handled the light intensity fine.....she has not been going to sleep early. She has handled the nutrients well given the amount being put in anticipating her switching and wanting the flower dosages. She is beautiful little girl at first glance but she has some oddities in her growth......keeping the grow interesting she is young Skywalker😎 👍 More detail: Jan 6/20 - Day 29 - 2L RO water pH 5.7. - Run-off: 1150ppm, 6.1pH in try from last. After feed 800ppm, 6.0pH - Pot light today. Wanted plain water but she is feeding Jan 7/20 - Day 30 = life was busy........nothing done today for watering. - Pot was the heaviest of the bunch......enough to wait. - She was more droopy today.......cold in the tent though....75 degrees????? Jan 8/20 - Day 31 - Feel she is hungry so fed in AM today. - AM: full feed except no CalMag - AM run-off 900ppm, 6.2pH - PM: full feed with CalMag. - PM run-off 430ppm, 6.1pH - No time tomorrow morning and pots were not heavy so decided to feed again in evening. - She is green and happy.......no bud sites though? Jan 9/20 - Day 32 - Life busy......noting done......heavy feed yesterday. Jan 10/20 - Day 33 - Water only. 1L pH to 6.0 = IPM tonight so keeping it light today. Hit her tomorrow with full feed. = She is looking AWESOME today. Up and happy and still no buds😨😕 - Spray with Plant Therapy from Lost Coast for bug prevention. Fortunately no signs of any issues.......and this will keep it that way😁👊 Jan 11/20 - Day 34 - 2L feed. Upped the base nutrients, Dual Fuel, today to 2ml/L. Wanted to break 1,000ppm and see what happens. - With Advanced Nutrients I am usually over 1100ppm at a similar stage. - Played with light intensity in the tent today by giving them all more. - Pulled 2 fan leaves today. - Limbs are growing funny. Soft and narrow and not typical symmetrical pattern of growth. Jan 12/20 - Day 35 - huge growth night....side branches bushed out and got taller!! - Supplemental focus on this feeding.......help root zone again. - Voodoo and Piranha for two weeks again at the start of flower and promote growth. Sensyzime to help clean up the roots for better uptake. - she is 13" tall and 18" wide now. - 4 large leaves removed and two smaller nodes. Greetings everyone! Week 7 of these two ladies is here aaaand they are finally in flower! 😀 It took them a little more than what I wanted but hey, it's done! 🙌 My only big issue this week was that it was hot compared to last one, which might have affected my girls somehow but besides that? Not much. Besides that this is what I did and I noticed: - The baby on the back has a weird growth rate! She's very, VERY bushy and tons of her leaves have long stems. Dunno why! - I reinforced the LST. Some stems were a bit too close to each other and that could be potentially dangerous! - Tucked and trimmed a lot this week. Too much foliage! Specially on the baby that's on the back. Hopefully she'll respond well to it! - The "healthy" girl has some weird looking leaves. Her leaves have tons of "points" 😱 Anyway, that's all for now. There have been no trips for 2 weeks, but prevention is better 😀. Because of the neem oil, the plants look very dark and shiny, which I really like when they shimmer like that 😝. I didn't do any training these days, that will be done again the next few days 👌. it was watered twice this week with around 0.6 l per plant. The Ph / Ec measuring device was also recalibrated. I completely changed the water and nutrients this week and added some Canna PK13/14. I have also added another MARS Hydro TW2000 light to the tent to try and get more light to the lower buds. Gave both plants a trim also for the same reason. I was concerned they were still not ready to harvest, but expert advice from FastBuds420 told me they probably needed a further 4 weeks. And I will give them an update and the information they requested. I think it's probably because I had the lights turned down to 25% during the veg stage and only at 50% for the early flowering stage; it was not till recently, about 3 weeks, I think the lights got turned up to 100%.

So the grow cycle was pretty easy. I work away from home and I sometimes have to leave for 4 days in a row. Before I'd leave for the four days I'd just add 4-6 cups of RO water with some Cal-Mag. When I can back she was always bigger and didn't have any problems. I was lazy this time and never checked the PH of the water. This strain is pretty resilient so props to sweet seeds. I decided not to LST this plant, it was a little taller than I wanted but grew in a nice shape. I still cant believe how purple this strain is. I started to get foxtailing on the top bud not sure what would cause that. Once again sorry for the lack of pictures. I'll let you know the smoke report later.

The week looked as such: Nothing until Wednesday: 1 gal each pot water with gnarley barley ground and bubbled for 24 hours. Topped each pot w ground gnarly barley, build a soil special blend, kashi and neem meal.

Day 24 F under MARSHYDRO TSW-2000 And things are getting to that point were theres not much to do besides giving them love and attention, i like what i see , for the majority of the canopy, i believe the corners are losing the run wen compared with the center , but still the flower development is going great, lets keep monitoring and see how it goes , for now at center canopy i have 1400 Ppfd the edges at 700 and the corners at 450 , this will eventually result in denser and bigger flowers were the number are higher, but lets time dictate what is what and how it goes, for now I’m loving everything, but starting. To think this TSW2000 wold feet better on a 3x3 or a 3,5x3,5 than a 4x4. Don’t miss judged me, its great light and my girls are loving it , im just use to bigger light on a 4x4 space. 9/27 here we go week 6! I’ve been bending all my ladies under the screen as they grow. Today I potted up posh and baby. Baby is in a 3.5 gallon plastic pot. The other two are in 5 gallon fabric pots. I added fresh pro mix soil, perlite, worm castings, and half all Purpose and half flower of the Gaia nutrients. Mykos around roots and added some blood meal too I hope to help a little quicker with what I was thinking was nitrogen issues. But now I’m not sure! Seeing brown spots on the leaves in addition to the fade of color makes me think I’m missing something else. New growth looks relatively good though, but do notice some slightly lighter ends on some of the leaves. Will keep an eye on things and see how everyone bounces back over the next few days. Gave a good watering ph 6.8 good luck girls!

9L Pot was harvest 6 days before 12L pot with 66g dry bud plus 3.1g bubble hash. Total 69g 12L Pot was left for 6 more days and the harvest weight was 123g plus 7.3g bubble hash. Total 130g The buds is rock hard and cover in crystals. The smoke is balanced great hybrid.
