Day 92 for this girl. Sorrie for the late update, had a little vacation. One thing about this girl is the heat is too much for he. A hps light with 30 degrees outside everyday gets tuff to bring it down. But she is going on well strong, wil be cutting her sycle short because no one wil be home this december. Next wil start the flush then hope she does well till then🔥 sofar, looking good by surviving the conditions

It's been really easy with her so far....what can I say she just took off

The harvest was a bit improvised. I pre-dried them outside under a sun screen (not choped yet) for 3 days at 30°C and 45% humidity. Then chopped only the buds and dried indoors for another 4d at 25°C and 62% humidity. Not ideal, they probably lost some terpenes. But no other way to do it at the time. Now they are curing at a stable 62% humidity. The grassy smell slowly disappears. Still, the aroma is not great. When I press the buds a mix of lime and pine is released but the ouside smells just like old, overdried herbs. It's my first time curing. So I dont know what to expect or if it will get better? Let's see. Dry bud weight was 75g. We are only legally allowed 50g dry so I had to destroy a bit. Buds are medium sticky and slightly airy but good overall. The strain was low maintenance and grew quite large. Only had to cut a couple spots (1x mildew, 1x bud rot). However, it was not purple as advertised. Checking back with Dutch Pasion, they are not aware of a non-purple pheno. I compared with pictures from its parents and it looks a lot like the Forbidden Fruit. I assume it got most of their genetics.

8/7 Plants were still heavy this morning. Temperatures have been much milder. 70's is much better than 90's. I had to water twice a day for a while. I defoliated ahind found some heat stress ob the gmo canary on the end with some twisted leaves. Some leaves are turning purple on an event horizon and gmo. Night Temps are much cooler plus its probably a pheno thing. I defoliated everything dead yesterday. Found lacewind eggs. Saw an adult green lace wing this morning in the garden along with a couple more lady bugs. There were also some lady bug larvae so I hope the go right to town. It's getting cooler so if I'm going to poorly I need to do it. Sherb pie plant seems to he the pillars favorite. I've killed a few of them. Still need to fix supports and do a little more defoliation. I have a video too but it's too slow to upload now. EVERYTHING GOT A QT EXCEPT THE 10 GOT HALF A QT. THE 50 GOT SLIGHTLY MORE. A fucking chipmunk ran in my garden when the door was open. He was going fast and I couldn't find him. I looked under the pallets the entire length. Hopfully he just ran out of a hole or up the fence. I'm going to get an air horn and blow it inside the cage. I need to get some zip ties and do a little rearranging before I setup the other supports for flower. Suprisingly the plantvin the 50 went from the furthest from flower to having little budlets on it. Can't be an auto or I think it would've flowered already. 8/12 Ending of the lions gate portal. Everything looked good this morning. The one in the 5gal was removed until I figure out its issue or trash it. The yield would be less than a branch anyway. Probably chronic underwatering. The 10 was bone dry despite the 3in of rain. Some bags seemed light. Looked at last years diary and went with my intuition. WATERED TODAY. Gave everything a gallon. I moved the event horizon to where the 5gal bucket wad and STARTED reorganizing to use the most of my space. I gotta pick up some zip ties and finish the supports but I'm happy. Plants look happy. Not as tall as last year but they are SUPER bushy. I'm going to have to open some up and spread the branches. I'll keep this updated. WENT OVER AROUND THREE. I CHECKED OUT THE LITTLE PLANT AND NOTICED MULTIPLE BUDSUTES DIEING. I ALSO SAW WHAT "COULD'VE" BEEN A MALE PREFLOWER. MY INTUITION TOLD ME TO GET RID OF IT. ITS LESS THAN A BRANCH OFF THE CROP IT COULD HARM. LUCKILY I HAD BAGGED IT UP BEFORE IT BEIBG REMOVED AND IT WAS FAIRLY WELL SEPERATED. AFTER CUTTING AND DISPOSING OF IT I BROUGHT THE BUCKET TO EMPTY. IT WAS EXTREMELY ROOTBOUND. THE ROOTS WERE WHITE EXCEPT THE ONES ON THE OUTSIDE WHICH WERE A NEON GREEN. THE INSIDE OF THE BUCKET HAD WHAT LOOKED LIJE GREEN ALGAE ON IT. I IMAGINE THAYS PROBABLY WHERE MY PROBLEMS CAME FROM. I'VE USED THIS BUCKET SECERAL TIMES AND IVE SEEN TJIS TYPE OF ALGAE BUT USUALLY ONCE I SANITIZE ITS GOOD TO GO. IM NOT SURE IF IT WAS BEING ROOTBOUND OR THE ALGAE THAT DID IT IN BUT I HAVE MUCH BETTER SPACING NOW. THIS WAS THE RIGHT DECISION. I COULDNT BEAR THE RHOUGHT OF MY GIRLS GETTING POLLINATED. I DID A VIDEO TOO BUT ILL HAVE TO UPLOAD TOMORROW. ALSO CAUGHT THE TINIEST EVER MOUTH LARVAE. I SEE TINY GOLD FINCHES AND OTHER BIRDS DARTING IN MY CAGE AND AWAY WHEN I APPROACH. I THINK THEY ARE GIVING ME A HAND. 8/13 Thought thos was a new week so I took a ton of pictures and did a video. Who knows what will upload. Plants look hetter with the increased room spacing. I have the materials to finish final supports. I've just got to do it. Same with the BT spray. I'm thinking I should've upped the water to a gallon and a half or two but I'll do that next time I guess. Only problem I can see is some septoria looking spits on the toasted toffy and one gmo looks like itscrunning through nutrients quicker than others. Dad said he thinks this is my best year. He said they're more full and healthier looking. I looked at my diary last year and I had plants over the top of the cage. The weren't as bushy but I'm not complaining. These are far more indica dominant than last year so that's probably part of it. Leaves on the event horizons are starting to turn purple. I'll update what I do. I defoliated what needed it and combed through the plants hunting pillars. I GUESS I FORGOT TO UPDATE THIS OR IT DIDNT SAVE. I BOUGHT A WATERING CAN THAT HOLDS A GALLON AND A HALF AND EMPRIED VERY QUICKLY IN SMALL STREAMS SO IT DOESNT HURT THE ROOTS. GREAT INVESTMENT. COULDNT GET OVER UNTIL 2 AND I GAVE EVERYTHING A GALLON AND A HALF. EXCEPT FOR THE ONE IN THE 10 TJAT GOT A GALLON AND THE TWO PLANTS IN THE MIDDLE THAT GOT A GALLON. ONE EVENT HORIZON AND THE TOASTED TOFFY.

Week 7

10. week. Hopefully less than 4 to go. Grow continues to run smoothly as before. The only point that is stressful is the humidity some times but mostly only after watering and since I’m watching them plants every 2 hours anyway the build isn’t that large. I just needed to understand that these plants will increase their transpiration towards midday and then decline again. So when I see 60% at lunch I don’t have to panic as much. Ryu started to smell strongly when touching him but the smell when opening the tent is still moderate. However I’m looking forward to a very nice and efficient harvest.

Smaller outcome then expected and the smoke test went well, clean smoke and tastes insanely well and turpy even before the cure, cannot wait to see it in a few weeks

*=UPDATED=* looking about the same again, nothing much is changing other then the new flower growth has slowed and some of the trichomes are turning amber. the one plant has thick buds and the rest are average. Harvest maybe next week or the one after if I get the time I need, I want to first take off all the extra fan leaves "half ass'd defoliation?" and let it sit in darkness for two-three days, help it breakdown some of the chlorophyll and should make the cure much nicer. first time trying this, may leave one plant in normal light and hang dry it to see if it makes a big difference. Had a bit of powdery mildew on some of the lower bud sites and baby leaves on one plant, I believe this was because the fan in the case was broken and not replaced. Corrected it by spraying the area with a peroxide mix and increasing airflow. *=UPDATE=* the one video I uploaded for this week was not working. So retrying it again today.

Jetzt soll sie erstmal trocknen und dann sehe ich weiter. Beim Trimmen habe ich schon zahllose Samen entfernt. Ein harter Schlag und ich habe es erst so spät bemerkt. 😔

The start of the week and she getting 4 big tops and the rest is lower but al at the same height, Starting with pk13-14. 46 days and i think she stop with stretching

So after consideration of the density of the buds and my night humidity levels— decided to chop a week early. Buds are super dense. Concern for mold. Very leafy lady- with massive fans She’s 10% amber but still some white pistols on the lowers. Very easy to grow. Stayed on the shorter side with minimal stretch—which is appreciated. I love how the Plagron Green Sensation is nitrogen free! I used it from weeks 3-6. Super helpful as the leaves were getting a little curl— even with minimal nutes. Will have harvest report soon. As terps can change after dry/cure. Happy with the results of the Runtz and Plagron! 🏻💚

Another week of scorching heat has made this lady grow like crazy. I had to do some defoliation as she was so bushy!! I also topped her again. I will be moving her outside this weekend and I will start to lst her to get that nice even canopy that we all love 🔥. I have started watering with Fish Shit and will be doing it weekly now. Humboldt genetics are always a sight to behold!! Onward!!! 😎🍿🍻

Plants are growing nicely, I think I overwatered a bit on day 20 and on day 21 they were a bit down, but at the end of the day they were looking much better though,I just introduce some nutrients on day 20( 1ml/l top auto) and calmag like always,the ph of the water was around 6,4.LIGHTS are at 50% power right now

Day 45 - Found the GC's main branch broken this morning. My error was tying it down too much. Never had plants so big so I'm still learning the best way to LST them in order to fit them in my closet. Takin the broke with philosophy: I never topped a plant, so I'm curious to see how she will develop from now and how much she will yield.
