Vegetation Phase - Week 4 The Donutz ladies are cruising through Week 4 in style, with no major changes to their routine. Simplicity is the key: just consistent care, reverse osmosis water, and keeping the vibes steady in the tent. Growth is strong and steady, with no signs of stress or issues. Updates & Maintenance: Watering: Still exclusively using RO water. No overwatering, just light and consistent hydration as needed. Lollipopping: The plants got a little cleanup this week. Lower growth was trimmed back again, keeping the stems neat and focusing energy on the upper canopy. This helps maintain that signature Sea of Green look and primes the plants for fat main colas later. Observations: The plants are uniform, healthy, and stacking nicely. Each one is starting to show its individual character, but they’re all working toward that tight SOG canopy. Marienkäfer buddy is still around, keeping the ecosystem in balance. No pest issues, no drama. Next Steps: It’s all about staying steady and letting the Donutz do their thing. The lollipopping ensures the plants are focused on upward growth, and the stable environment in the tent is creating the perfect conditions for success. Week 5 is around the corner, and everything’s looking set for these plants to keep stacking up!

5/8 Watered both with plain PH'd water yesterday. Both of the plants are sucking up leaves. Trichomes are only really looking amber on the brown leaves, but otherwise milky. 5/10 Decided that these brown-leaved buds on Trainwreck were ready, so I tried a little bro-science and watered an hour before harvesting. Noticed there were some really nice green young buds intertwined, so I did my best to trim around to leave them for another week or so. No weight measurements yet, will wait till after trimming and before curing.

Also found 4 of 5 fan leaves with Calcium deficiency over the last couple of days. Runoff is PH 5.8 and EC is 0.78. EC in runoff has been very low. I'm pretty confident it's not a PH issue at this point. Seems plants are rapidily soaking up the nutrients in the water. I also found 8 or 9 fan leaves with slight nutrient burn a few days ago. Nutrient burn seems to have tapered off and haven't noticed any spreading. Going to try adding an additional watering to the schedule to see what happens. I'm hesitant to mix stronger nutrients due to nutrient burn I started to see earlier this week. At the same time, need to figure out the cause of the nutrient deficiencies. I'm currently using the Light Feeding Schedule from Mills Nutrients (says "light", but is still 2.06 EC including 0.54 EC for water + CalMag) Need to switch to flower soon but need to figure out deficiency issues before the switch. This is one happy plant, she takes any of the training I give her, she’s eating twice a week now, around a gallon a day, just eating to be a real beauty, so so excited to see her at harvest.

7/11 - Top dressed all with Foundation Grow, Foundation Uprising, Oregonism XL, and Nitro Bat Guano. Watered w/ RO water & Extreme Serene. They are looking great. 7/12 - Fed with liquid nutrients today followed by some selective defoliation. Also adjusted the LST and added a little coco mulch. 7/14 - Watered with plain RO water and added Mosquito bits for pest prevention. Also did a foliar spray of Ancient Amber. They look very happy and healthy.

Was feeding 2.5 2.5 1.2 per gal flora series with 2.5 calmag ph quickly dropped in run off to 4.7. Im guessing the florakleen had something to do with messing with the buffer. I thought the king tut looked droppy a few days after flush of couse i thought issue was maybe overwater. I skipped one water and over night all plants were much worse. Half the leaves on tut dried out and some on the alien tech. Read up and finally found someone mention to feed 1.3 to 1.5 gal per 5 gal in coco coir per event. I was feeding 1 gallon of water twice a day so went to 1.5 to 2 gal per event twice a day. Underwatering was the issue, cal mag in some, nutrient burn and ph. Ph going in at 6.0 coming out 4.7. I chopped the chem de la creme and the acid as they were not doing well or just stunted badly. Squanch Queen had a lot of calmag issues so added more. Eventually i ended up doing a 1/4 nute 2.5 calmag ro flush to get the ph of run off out of 4.7 range and eventually it has risen to 5.2 to 5.4 in time with .2 ec adjustments. Lots of problems. Have an ro buddy but am going to get a better system. Working on installing diy drain system.
