TUESDAY 8/13: I fed her about a half-gallon with big bloom, kelp me kelp you, bembe, beastie bloomz, and terpinator. Hopefully that will kickstart the bud swelling. WEDNESDAY: We had a little rain last night. It's sunny today, but the temperature is a little cooler and the humidity is very high. I had my glasses on while inspecting her this morning..seeing some signs of spider mites here and there. I'll spray them with trifecta crop control this evening or tomorrow morning depending on if the humidity drops quick enough. THURSDAY: No time for gardening at all today...😕 FRIDAY: I missed a day only to return and find that she's SICK!!! Damnit!😖 She and two of my other plants suddenly have what looks like a bad calcium and/or phosphorous deficiency. I sprinkled some bat guano and silicium flash onto her soil and watered it in with about a half gallon of water including calimagic, beastie bloomz, terpinator, and bembe. I also thoroughly sprayed her with boom boom spray. I started brewing another batch of the PK booster compost tea including extra bat guano, earthworm castings, bembe, big bloom, and kelp me kelp you. It should be ready on Sunday...hang in there baby!🙏 SATURDAY: I went boating and had no time for gardening.. SUNDAY: I fed her a little bit of compost tea, but I fear her pot is too wet down at the bottom and that this is really a root problem. Gonna transplant her tomorrow for sure. MONDAY: I transplanted her into a 5 gallon pot with a much lighter mix..her roots were subpar to say the least. Kinda stinky...I think maybe too much biochar and not enough perlite in that pot.

End of the third week of the stretch and they certain out did stretch indeed😳. Had to crop over the tallest female - she just stretched wayyy too much and that’s gonna go against her in the rankings when we draw out our seed on each plant. The first male has dropped fully and the others are another 1-2 days out from harvest. We’ll collect all that pollen and store it for future use if it’s needed. The plants are all showing both similarities and differences - there’s an even distribution of sativa and indica leaning phenos which suggests that there is def. Some variability in terms of traits for this F1 generation. Exactly what we were looking for as we pare this down to the second filial generation. On the overall growth - absolutely no issues at all with nutritional deficiencies which is a welcome change of pace. The last while we’ve been growing some strains that have shown very odd reactions to nute changes and I suspect this is a result of certain strains simply being bred out too far. Hard to say but the radar is definitely up with the well known breeders right now. We have some real winner pheno clones that we’ve rooted and will be flowering out once we get this tent cleaned up and free of pollen. All told, the run is progressing much better than anticipated and with the rate of turnover through transition, I’m happy to say that there isn’t any one plant I won’t consider test running on the next cycle. We did have some og auto genetics in the tent for pollination as well but that plant is looking like a bit of a mutant. Not sure if we’ll even bother with testing it at this point but you never know. Expect a harvest update on the males as we move in to the flowering side of the grow and then it’s just waiting around for seed👍. Alls well for now. Background This project has been a year in strain selection (and another year in the actual making) to get to this point with a viable potential cross. It’ll be a true polyhybrid with a mix of sativa and indica leaning properties for each. We’ve combined an especially powerful hybrid sativa strain of Strawberry with an equally manageable and hard hitting strain of indica dominant Skywalker OG. The hope has always been to combine them and boil out the best characteristics of each. The strawberry is phenomenal in terms of terp profile and a mix of strong head and body effects while the Skywalker is a mind bending, body butter kind of indica with that earthy Kush profile and flowery undertones. The strawberry is prone to botrytis and fasciation but features excellent terps and yields if grown correctly. She’s Also stretchy and somewhat unruly when she gets going. The Skywalker is a contrast in growth characteristics with a squat structure, medium sized buds and excellent resilience and resistance. The plan is to seed out the available females and take cuts of what we can post-stretch to get a closer look at any differing phenos. Still very much early stages for a stabilized new strain but we’ve got the right foundation of solid genetics. Now we just gotta get it off the ground to the next generation👍. We’re predominantly focused on the plants that demonstrate that hybrid vigour and wasting no time with any problem plants or runts. Topped today and getting ready for transplant to 5 gallon pots. Two weeks under new Mars Hydro 3000 and new AC infinity fan. The four plants are listed above, enjoy the video, my first!

She's big! That's all i can say!

New reservoir on the 2nd with Flowering nutrients, still at 50% of recommended dosage - and I'll probably stick with it, even at this strength I've seen a few burnt tips. Used dechlorinated tap water this time, something I'll probably stick with as well. Also added some bud trainers that I got from amazon, they're quite cheap and I've been liking it so far, although not the best canopy, it's something I'm learning a lot and enjoying. And a side note: Using autopots feels like cheating. These two are topped and still are producing some enormous branches! Glad I did top them in the end, else I'd be stressing a lot over space right now. -- update Decided to give them a heavier defoliation/lollipopping to improve light penetration and to help them focus on the bigger branches instead of larf. We'll see how well they'll respond to that.

No problems yet, growing good. Transplanted other 2. I ran out of soil so I topped off the gelato with pellets. Starting low stress training on purple kush 1 and 2, will be topping pk 3, and maybe try and fim gelato after I read more about it. Maybe I should top it first.

9/11 Week 22 Looking better seem to have closed the Phos hole in my nuets, in the future pots will be amended with it from the start. 9/13 Weather degrading (heh relative term) plan to harvest Poly on next spat of "good" weather, Zona couple of weeks tops. Poly water only but there is plenty of nuets in that pot. 9/14 No decent sun today at all, high humidity forecast is saying it just gets worse from here (heh like those guys know) but if true I need to harvest poly ahead of it which may mean tomorrow. Decide then see if forecasts change. Next year things will be different damit 9/15 Day 146 of the grow and Poly's last day Weather is entirely the reason for taking her a bit early, wanted to prep her a bit more but thats life in the outdoors. She has a beautiful day for her last, she was never any trouble and grew well, I am glad to have grown her, she is a good girl. 02/23/2021 Gonna get more clones off bottom growth she seems to clone easily enough. So maybe mid-week topping, after cuttings. She is growing fast!

Scary mutations - yes, but I was once again allowed to learn and suffer so much... ;-)) But patience and love pay off. I can tell you that much. 😁 At the end of the third week, I decided to prune the two bulkier phenotypes. Finally, I wanted to make sure that the plant canopy of all 4 would end up as homogeneous as possible in the flowering.

Ginger Nut Cookies & Aussie Music Videos 4 weeks of flowering completed 26th March 2020 Hi Everyone I hope you are well , This Plant is starting to get some frosting happening and the smell has elvolved a little once again 😏 It's still got the tropical fruit like aroma but has got an underlying smell almost like honey. I had to get up Early this morning as an impending thunderstorm threatened to drench my plants which I wasn't going to let happen 😡 bloody rain 😆 It's all good now they are under cover and protected from any more showers we may have . She had a good feed yesterday of some Liquid potasium, Seaweed solution , Epsom salts and Mollasses so she should be content until the sun returns . 58 days of flowering: I started cutting the most mature apicals 42/57. I will wait for the remaining 7-14 days. first 42: 370.5g

It's week 9 of flower and she's been fed her last bit of nutrients. I'll start flushing with BushDoctor's SledgeHammer 2 tsp a gallon. Then just straight water until the chop :)

Pictures are the day before harvesting. They were flushed for 2 weeks. Plants are dark purple in color and a very fruity unique smell. Ill harvest and have numbers shortly.
