Howdy folks 👋 8 weeks (well 9 technically) finished. Flush begins today. I will try to give her more darkness than usual towards the chop time to force the trichs more. I have already tried a small sample from a lower area with 5 day of quick dry and no cure. trichs were mostly cloudy I just had to....😳 It was outstanding and cannot wait for end product. This week marked the start of the flowering phase as the light cycle was switched to 12/12, officially initiating bloom 🌸 For the first few days the plant continued normal vegetative growth, with the stretch becoming noticeable after about 3 days. By the end of the week the plant had already gained noticeable height and the early stretch phase was clearly underway. • Stretch beginning after ~3 days • Canopy mostly even with only one branch slightly leading • First few white pistils visible toward the end of the week Light intensity was increased to ~750 PPFD ☀️ and the fixture was raised slightly to maintain proper distance as the plant began stretching. Watering increased slightly as the plant entered the flowering transition: • ~3L every 2–3 days based on pot weight 💧 Feeding this week: • 1x BioTabs Bio PK • Otherwise water + BioBizz CalMag Environment remained stable: • ~25°C temperature • ~55% RH 🌡️ The plant remained healthy with balanced structure and deep green foliage. The topping from earlier veg clearly paid off, as the canopy remained fairly even going into the stretch phase. Overall this week marks a smooth transition into bloom with the first signs of stretch and flower initiation 🍩🔥

The plants are looking really healthy, I've been defoliating here and there to get the light to penetrate to the lower leaves and branches. They have started to bush out from topping them last week. I started using Mammoth P Microbes halfway through last week. They seem to have grown a little quicker since adding them. The plants are still being fed 4 times a day at 1 minute each feeding. No signs yet of which is female and male, I am planning on pulling all the males once they show signs.

My second growroom is built and the girls have moved in. This new strain combines two well-received parents, Juanita la Lagrimosa (Spanish for "Juanita the Tearful") and Royal Highness, which are themselves genetic hybrids of other precursor strains: Juanita the Tearful from Queen Mother and a Mexican-Afghan blend; Royal Highness from Dance Hall and Respect 13. On and on the strains date back in agricultural time, each new variety with its own unique smell, taste, color, high and medical benefit. However, in the past decade, a goal of all this tinkering has been what some producers are starting to call “Royal Respect” with the soul of marijuana's benefits going toward both body and mind. The new pH-meter showed 8.1 in my regular tapwater, way too high. So now the buds has started to grow again, they were purple earlier and now since she got water and nutes with right pH-level, the buds are turning back to green. And I also added some more nutes to her menu, 2018-02-03 Added some pics of the grow room after I cleaned the floor and putting the girls back in, and also added a video of the reality of a grower having some problems with too high pH-level. Since I'm still a novice growing cannabis I learn new things everyday, and hopefully the next round will be more or less perfect - perfection needs practice.

Have had some challenges this week. In my lack of experience, I have struggle to discern whether my plant is deficient in nutrients, suffering lockout or approaching harvest. Symptoms were yellowing leaves... The cause of which can be, of course, many different things. I decided to flush last week, thinking that a nutrient lockout was most likely. Leaves less yellow this week so think it may have done the trick. I have spent some time researching and considering flushing as a technique to improve final bud quality. I have decided that there simply isn't enough evidence to deny my girl of nutrients at a critical phase of her growth. I am therefore continuing a reduced feeding schedule of - 1mls topmax - 2mls BioBloom - 1 scoop biosys ecothrive - 2.5mls Cannazym. And, unless indicated otherwise, will continue with this schedule up until harvest. Today I have tested PPM of the run off and measure it to be approx 1050ppm. I will measure again in 24 hours to monitor change after a feed. Purchased a 60x microscope and am able to see that 90% of trichomes are still clear. I am therefore anticipating at least another couple of weeks before harvest. Buds look fluffier than I'd like, but resin and trichome production haven't disappointed. I'm hoping that over the next few weeks the buds will continue to fatten. 19/11/2021 - Day 79. Have a few days off so have managed to catch some photos in day light. Have also uploaded a video. Feel that she isn't particularly happy... But on the other hand, she is showing the resistance and ability to adapt to less than ideal growing conditions; as promised by the strain genetics. Plenty of trichs, plenty of resin, plenty of buds. Just need them to fatten and fill out for maximum yield and quality. 23/11/21 - Day 83 - Still some deficiencies but she doesn't seem to be using much water so reluctant to feed at risk of overwatering. Noticing lots of new pistil formation. Looking frosty, but all trichomes still clear. Temperatures dropping to around 2°c overnight here. Managing to maintain temperatures around 10°c in the shed. Appreciate that this is too cold for growth but she seems to be coping with it well. I think that a gradual reduction in temperature has been tolerated better than fluctuant or sudden drops would be. Fingers crossed that her hardy nature keeps her strong. Fed today: 1mls BioBloom 2mls Topmax Half scoop Biosys Ecothrive Filtered water - pH 6.5, TDS 320 Run off 953 TDS 29/11/21 - Day 90 - no sign of any amber yet. Still mostly clear with a splattering of cloudy. Really worrying about the night time temps now and holding out hope that it doesn't die off before the trichomes mature.

Clone #1 has rooted and started getting a thinker base to her. My ph dropped pretty low from feed boungvtoo heavy. She has been flushed, and fed again. Will likely repeat again tomorrow to ensure her ph doesn't rebound. She should start showing revegging signs soon. It was kinda a craopy time to take a clone. Looks like it will work out though, just gonna take time.
