Took them outside because it was a sunny week, looking good so far. I take them outside as much as I can because I'm still worried that the 10€ light bulb won't be enough powerful.

Been a smooth week. The Gelat.OG is looking happy. She is in the back corner. Gave them a flush and fresh nutrients. Been plucking a few leaves here and there to keep light to all of the branches. Just going to keep spreading her out as she grows. Will switch them to flower in a week.

day 15: flowers start to appear day 16-17: temps go 24 celcius, i throw ice bottles in the res day 25: insane stretch stops flowers fatten up, even crystals around the young budz.

Will be switching to late bloom protocol this week.

Chopped them today, great coloring so far, really excited to see how they turn out by the end. There weren't any issues this week as it was just a flush and a few days of darkness. I've got to get better at lollipoping and maintaining the skirt in the future. Definitely a lot of wasted energy and nutrients going into flowers that never budded out.

Day 50 - Added another dehumidifier to the closet and now the RH is 53/55% under the canopy and 60/62 above it. Wish it was good enough to prevent mold and pests. The ladies are growing a lot, think we'll have big chunky colas if everything goes well! 🙏😍 Day 52 - Today I defoliated the ladies a little bit to allow more light penetration 💪 Day 56 - End of week 8. The girls are doing good: the PL keep on getting weight and developping bigger flowers, the Gelato is 1 or 2 weeks behind her, she has been in vegetative stage for longer and she's still stretching! Now she is about 20/25cm to the light but she seems to handle it. Light at 85/90%.

3oz dry weight from 1 plant! The maximum I've managed before was 18g and 20g per plant so a huge improvement from my first grow. Only issue is the buds came out airy, the tent was a bit hot throughout so think I need to up the airflow to remove excess heat in future grows. :) I've sealed the bud into mason jars now for curing, hopefully should be smokable in the early new year!

The leaves have started shifting to a lighter shade of green, while some are showing beautiful pinkish-purple hues. The buds are still on the lean side, but I’m hoping for a bit more bulk and density over the next few days. 😀🤞 The flowering progresses smoothly and peacefully. Last week of veg, flipping today, let the flowering begin, started some LST on 68, unfortunately snapped LSD 1 but taped up, continued on more plants on 69.

The lighting intensity is at 833 PPFD, and the solution in the reservoir is fine-tuned to a pH of 6.22, EC of 475, with a temp of 21.8°C. Let’s talk pH in the reservoir: it’s a dynamic process, and I’m constantly adjusting it to keep everything at the right level. The pH tends to rise throughout the week, and each day, I work it back down, fine-tuning it to keep those plants happy and balanced. Managing pH is truly a hands-on job, and it’s worth every moment. I love staying on top of it for optimal nutrient uptake—it’s all about consistent effort and keeping that perfect range dialed in. Leaf Maintenance & Selective Defoliation These leaves are HUGE and gorgeous, creating a lush canopy that’s nearly too perfect! I’ve been taking a few leaves here and there, focusing on leaves that may be blocking light from reaching lower parts of the plant. Selective defoliation at this stage is key because it opens up airflow and allows light to penetrate deep, boosting energy distribution across the whole plant. Big, healthy leaves mean we’re getting excellent photosynthesis, but a gentle, strategic defoliation can guide that energy toward those developing buds. With great joy I will start my second season growing cannabis. I hope to learn from some small mistakes from the first season where I was surprised by my performance as a first-time sailor cultivating the BlueDream strain. This season I left the 4 seeds of GorillaGlue 36hrs in a pot of water to break the dormancy. After that I used the napkin technique for more 42 hrs. So I put each one in a 5-gallon airpot, as they are automatic and go to harvest in the same pot. After 24hrs in the vase the first 2 little leaves came out. I made a homemade dome with a 2-gallon water bottle, cutting it into strips and lining it with plastic with some holes to keep the humidity high during this initial phase. We entered the first week of cultivation and unfortunately due to an oversight I got confused in the fertilizer table and clearly the dreaded overfert happened. I did a watering only with water to try to remove the excess fertilizer let's hope it works.

Smooth sailing this week. I added the grow nutrients on the mid week water and yesterday and the girls loved it! Number one looks like it’s a little mutated or damaged by me accidentally but is just a tad smaller. Other than feeding every other day or so and filling the humidifier up every day that’s about all. Come vedete sono anche in buona compagnia in questa fase di sviluppo Per la bambina bruciata invece ho dimezzato il suo apporto di nutrienti giornaliero dopo averle dato solo acqua declorinata a ph 6.3 per alcuni giorni,i nuovi getti infatti sembrano non presentare quelle sgradevoli macchie arancioni per ora. Al giorno 19 le piantine sono abbastanza grandi per iniziare il loro training. Per questo giro ho voluto provare 2 topping, 2 LST e lascerò crescere normalmente quella più indietro tra loro che è sicuramente quella che ha avuto problemi nutrizionali.
