She's still going! I have no idea what's going to happen, but I'll continue feeding her. She's nothing special to look at but that's fine. I was removing a withered fan leaf and I ripped off one of the flowers with it so I feel horrible. I put her under the roof in the Cure's place since that got chopped. I don't know what else to report. I'm still nursing her along, and I'll continue to do so until she says she's done.

Hey now, I hope everyone is having a great weekend, it was a good week for the ladies in the 5X5, they are all starting to stack flowers and really starting to distinguish their own smells. The Bubble Runtz has the most indica dominant looking colas and smells absolutely amazing. The Sundae Driver is looking like she is gonna have the fattest colas and be the biggest producer. I am really hoping I get the red phenotype of the Red Hot Cookies, and both the Green Crack and Durban Nights are showing the most Sativa characteristics and looking great. I now have the Medic Grow Light cranked up to 100% in F1 mode and am also using the UV/IR for 30 minutes per day prior to lights out. I am running a 12/12 cycle and feeding the same mix of GH nutrients which include Silica, CalMag, MaxiBloom, and Bloom Booster, with additional food grade Hydrogen Peroxide in the reservoir to keep algea growth to a minimum. I mix one 5 gallon bucket of nutes per day and clean my reservoir once per week. My pump is set to auto feed the plants every 5 hours after lights on, and I have a gravity self draining runoff setup I built. Not much to do from here on out, just keep the reservoir clean and full, a little defoliation, and 5 minutes per day to mix a bucket of nutes.I hope they get fat in the next few weeks and then I have about 7 people lined up to help me trim, I will throw everyone two zips for the help. hoping to do the wet trim in a day. Great week. Plants growing nicely. Healthy leaves nice color. Main stem is quite thick, LST was a bit more difficult with main stem. So far so good.

All the side shoots have now been directed and I hope that she will now grow nicely upwards 😅 Sherbet is my queen in this grow so far 🌞 It's just fun to watch the beauty grow. To start the fourth week, I removed some leaves today and directed the shoots in the right direction, otherwise Brucie will soon be completely overgrown 😂 but hopefully it will also have the effect that the good energy of growth will now go in the right direction.... I'll be surprised. Now she looks like a beautiful chandelier 😎

The two Tropicanna Poisons are truly beautiful for different reasons. One is a beautiful and perfectly normal plant with a 16 topping that has suffered a few deficiencies but is now rehabilitated and ready for flowering. The other is a beautiful mutant plant that at one point threw a polypeptide internode and I took the opportunity to make a very special and unique topping to see, there is an internode at 3 and it will look very strange. She was grown in a 24 oz. cup with NO ISSUES.. Which leads me to believe that "rootbound" is nothing but a myth.. I have grown 4 other girls in even smaller cups.. Same outcome.. No issues whatsoever.. I will be updating more as the harvest progresses.. Im going to dry and cure the same way I did the White Widow I recently harvested.. Which is.. In the box I will run the fan for 24 - 48 hours.. Once I notice the plant is beginning to shrivel up some I will stop using the fan and go with how the buds feel.. I would rather jar them up too early because if the hygrometer reads 70% humidity then I can just lay her out for another few hours and jar her back up.. Once she is able to sit in the jar and doesnt go over 68% than i will only burp once every 2 or 3 days for about a week.. It all depends how dry she gets before curing.. Not going to count my chickens before they hatch.. That is just the way I have been able to dry and cure without ruining any terpenes since my environment is not all that great for drying and curing cannabis.. Anyways.. Will be updating as I go!!! So happy and excited.. But when I wake up I already know that Im going to jump up to check on her in the tent like I have been for the past 106 days lol.. Anyways.. Will be updating!!! Day 108.. About 20 hours after harvesting.. She is still smelling lovely.. In the past it would start smelling like hay.. But I've figured out how to slow the drying process down with my awful environment.. I also cut the fan off for now.. I may cut it back on later today or tomo.. We shall see!!! Day 109.. About 48 hours of drying.. Not sure if its the box I'm smelling along with the skunk.. But it's kinda smelling a bit weird.. Almost hay like.. Ugh.. I will be PISSED if I ruined this one.. Stems are still super bendy.. Not even close to snapping.. I'm going to leave the fan off for now.. The warmth in the room the box is in is probably enough to help dry.. Hopefully not gonna dry too fast.. Leaves are still not crisp.. So that's another good sign.. We will see what happens!!! So excited to give this nasty bitch a taste!!! Day 4 of drying (after harvest)... Ok.. So I havent been noting anything down.. But this is what has happened so far.. The plant was pretty much dry on the 3rd morning.. Or so it felt.. Crispy.. Smaller stems were snapping.. So I put it in jars.. I havent weighed it yet tho.. Will do that later.. But after about 12 hours in the jars (3 Qt sized jars btw) the hygrometers were reading 72%, 74% and 78%.. So I left them out overnight for about 16 hours or so.. Maybe not even that long.. I put them in jars early this morning and left for work.. After about an hour or 2 in the jars, they were reading about 56% - 57%.. I hope I didnt over dry them overnight.. I went ahead and grabbed a nice sized nug to teat out for today.. Stoned asf.. Thats for sure.. But the smoke is still pretty harsh.. I can smell the skunk for sure still.. Its actually really stinky lol.. Like, not an attractive smell whatsoever lol.. But its for sure the terpenes.. Not any issues with them.. But when I get home.. I'll be able to get a better, longer reading on the huds today after last nights drying... ... Later.. Ok so one jar is reading at 62% second jar is reading 57% and the last jar is ready 54%... They all still smell great : 1: but I'm wondering if a nug from the 62% jar is not going to be as harsh as the jar at 54%.. Hmm.. May try that out later tonight.. ... Even later.. Lol So yeah the 62% jar is much smoother.. No harshness whatsoever.. Ok.. I see where I make my mistakes.. But can still save the smells and tastes.. Im sure the other jars will eventually lose the harshness.. I hope.. My Berry Ryder never lost any harshness.. That was harvested and a little overdried like over 6 months ago.. Still harsh.. But this strain doent smell like hay.. The worst smell you can smell when it comes to drying and curing.. For me atleast.. If it smells like hay.. The tepenes are long gone lol.. I have had my first 3 harvests come out like f'n hay.. But I think I got it figured out.. For the most part.. Just need to get better temps in drying.. Hmm.. Fuck it.. Maybe even use a evaporative cooling humidifier in the room with it.. Not in the box (obviously cuz the one I got would fill the drying box pretty much.. Its huge asf).. Load it up with ice daily.. Damn I forgot I had that thing.. I need it for my tent now actually.. Got a 20oz cup with a 4 week old ZkittleZ Glue (Photoperiod) from Expert Seeds.. Not even flowering yet that already smells dank asf.. Flippin it in the next few couple days actually.. Dont have a diary on her tho..anyhoo.. Will be updating and adding some updated pics in the AM... About 4 days of curing... Well each jar is a bit different.. I am noticing that jar #1 is at 63% humidity and smells dank as fuuuuck.. No need for any humidity pack.. At least not right now. Jar #2 is at 58% humidity with a humidity pack and it smells pretty danky as fucky too.. But not as strong as jar #1.. And jar #3 is at 55-56% humidity with a humidity pack and doesnt really smell much.. It does.. But for sure not as strong as jar #1 and #2.. Which brings me to my next issue.. I bought these Integra Boost 62% Humidity Packs... They worked well about 6 months ago.. I left these others sealed up and protected for ANYTHING.. and now they fucking suck.. Is there a time limit on these fuckers? Does Boveda 62 Packs do the same shit??? Ugh.. Wasted money like a mf'r.. If I took the packs out of jar #2 and #3 it would not change the humidity whatsoever.. I thought they would at least do SOMETHING.. a couple more digits up.. But hell no.. I even handled the fuck out of them hoping to stir em up and "active" em or some shit lol.. But nope.. Nothing.. These things suck.. Boveda 62 is my next purchase.. But I'll wait for my next harvest.. Smh.. Maybe if I double up they will work better? Such a fucking waste.. It was about 65 or 66 grams all together.. I already smoked about a gram to try it out.. So now ill just say its 64 grams. Not bad for a 24 oz cup grow in my opinion... By the way.. Integra Boost 62% Humidity Packs SUCK!!!. They did work the first time I used them. But about 30 - 60 days later I used 2 more gor these jars.. And it cant keep anything above what it naturally was in the jar.. Sometimes I feel like mixing them up in their package.. Like crumpling the whole thing up and moving all the gel, or whatever thats inside, around to help.. Activate it?? Lol it brought it up 1%.. Thats it.. I even put 4 of them in a jar of bud that was already 58%.. With all 4 Integra Boost packs.. 60% on a good day lol.. Boveda packs too a few days to start working.. But ai had to kinda "activate" them as well.. After 4 days of "activating" and NOW the jars are 62% - 63% from natually about 57% and 58%... The third jar is natually at 62% - 63% so I just burp that one once a week.. Smells so super skunky! Tastes amazing.. Nugs are pretty dense also.. Lots of red hairs (dead pistils) which kinda help for the bag appeal more than anything.. As a kid growing up.. I always thought it was the hairs that got you high.. I also thought that you could just plant them outside anytime of the year.. And that the thc was stored in the roots.. Thats why they hang plants upside down.. So my first couple harvests as a kid (2 grams max and only flowered for probably 5 weeks if not only 4) and hug the entire plant upside down including the dirty ass roots that I had in the mud ai was using to grow them in. Smh.. What was I thinking?!?! Haha... Anyways.. Boveda packs are working.. Integra Boost packs stop working if you dont use them up within a month.. Smh.. Trash.. Fucking trash

Day 35 - few pics and vids..... everything going along nicely 👍 This is a pretty big update, so i'll add to it over the next few days, as i finish building it all.... i'm building these 2 x SS haze, the full tent, just finishing up the setup..... trimming them, changing solutions to 12/12 and flower..... changed the exhaust fan and filter setup to the better outside the tent method.... and installed 12v CPU computer fan, lol ("alta9" fits in 4in ducting perfectly), drops wattage on extractor fan.... 10w tops... got a few kg of active carbon and making/replacing the carbon filter .... i'll add afew vids of the new setup in afew days... Day 36 - few pics/vid of new tent setup...... "alta 9" fan :) post tomorrow after i finish trimmin and settin up night mode etc...... and into tomorrow we go, lol ... Day 37.... slowly getting there..... little bit more to go... this should make things abit more interesting..... right tank (short babie) has : 19 lts of tap water @18oC + 150 ml -dutch master one gold FLOWER.... 6.4 PH - 1400 PPM left tank has : 19 lts of tap water @18oC + 50 ml of elements a and 50ml of b and 10 ml of nitro and 20ml of Crystalic (molasses/pot) .... 6.5 PH - 1200 PPM more pics / vids of the finished tent setup.... roots, transfer, etc... Day 37 is alot of vids of the clean and change to flower..... edit - day after build noticed left tank (nutrifield) not enough bubbles..... pulled out the 4 air pump and swapped to the 2 x original oxipumps... much better, also to fix the problem with ph goin high, and bubbles not stirin the mix, was to add another 10ml of crystallic and another 5ml of nitro... then pumped both tanks with ph down and set em to 5.8-6.2 - both plants have fully recovered from the big trim, and bounced back within 12-24hrs, post pics/vid in abit..... Day 39 - made a freaky video... was curious about what the plants would see looking up at the lights... the lights and buzzing of air compressors and bubbling tank water, and dazzling lights turned out pretty cool in vid editor, was in selfie mode.... and final vid of the bounceback from trim :) 👍😎

Already week 7, and it’s starting with much better air humidity which makes it easier for me to stay in the recommended VPD range – currently 54% at 25 °C at canopy height. With 58, 67, 78 and 80 cm plants’ average height is about 71 cm. Odour has increased, and sometimes, but only shortly, I get the feeling the coal before the blowers cannot eliminate all of it. While the smell was a bit strange sometimes one and a half week ago, it’s now absolutely yummy, sweet and promising. As is all the sticky stuff adhering to my folding rule when I measure their size. I am a bit confused about the amount of yellowing leaves. That would indicate a nutrition deficit. On the other hand, last feeding (yesterday it was only calmagged water) brought some brown edges to their tips as I wrote. Which could indicate a slight over-nutrition. I am not *that* worried as leaves around the buds all look great (except for mentioned, but not youngest tips), and mature plants obviously tend to concentrate on bud production solely. But week 7 is quite early, or isn’t it? Any recommendations? Maybe I should go with organic fertiliser next time to avoid being stuck between two options ;) As they had run dry already, I gave each one another round of drink. Slightly less fertilised than last week. And I removed the lowest yellow branches and tiny buds that would not make it into the light in time. The Pineapples must have some mimosa genes crossed in. Each time I touch them they bow away their heads in deep dislike. The taller one looks like her head would be too heavy now … It is not, and usually they recover after an hour or so. The Sherbets are pretty unimpressed by all I do. Meanwhile I’ve been working on the Raspberry Pi BoxControl that should help me stay in better VPD ranges in the future. I am not sure how to translate this all into a more stable solution than based on a breadboard, but the state so far (and how it is supposed to work): Raspi runs headless with control software on autostart. Every minute temperature and humidity are received from a GY-21 I2C chip that should be hanging around plant tops. Data is saved in a database, VPD is calculated and signalled in form of a RGB LED color. Additionally, LCD display rotates through current stats. 3 relay modules can en- or disable misting, dehydration or an additional blower. Maybe I can add a CO2 sensor just for the fun of it (but I’d have to develop a device protocol myself), maybe even one or two soil moisture sensors. Theoretically you could also have a lighting control, but then, GPIO ports are all used. The display needs a lot of them, and while I can log onto the Raspi on my local network and view its desktop, I’d prefer to have a quick overview at place. I am not really informed about current models. Are some GPIO extensions or Raspis with extended GPIOs on the market? But so far, that’s all theory. I never had a PCB developed for my hobbyist projects, I am not the best with a solder station. Never had a Raspi run 24/7 for a really long time. Did a bit more lollipop ping in the evening. Especially tallest Shepard had fun building some more very low buds and branches. I think it can investigate its powers better on different places. Day 51: It’s getting hard to measure soil humidity with my low tech device. Soil must be full with roots and I don’t want to hurt them much. I can see them at the outlets of their pots too, sometimes a bit dry of course as these parts run dry earliest. Experiments to include the CO2 sensor in my test setup failed. I can read and reset it, but setting measurement mode and reading values don’t work. Maybe because my I2C library cannot use ClockStretchLimit. Running out of GPIO ports anyway and seeing that the soil sensors are analogue devices, I’ll probably revive my Uno too and have discovered some clever Raspi heads that should make a more stable setup (and some cooling) possible while also adding a handful of PWM ports and an integrated display. I’d like to include a camera module too and it would be great to have some ports available. A final setup would obviously include a Raspi 4 or 5 to easily enable secure online access. But so far, all working nicely in test setup. Day 54: Sometimes I wonder if they’re still growing at all, but then it’s good to have the daily pictures to compare bud width which now seems to be the main interest of the ladies, although differences are now clearer to tell between two day intervals. The taller ones look like they are one week ahead of the smaller plants, with even higher fan leaves turning pale now. Which at an estimated seed–harvest time of 8–11 weeks for both strains should be pretty common, I guess. Or am I wrong? Summerly temperatures make the temperatures at canopy level sometimes reach 31 °C, but at least the simple ultrasonic diffusers arrived and I am getting closer to a better environment control. I can at least switch the diffuser inside the tent remotely from my phone, and a deep bowl of water with a lid so the "fountain" produced will not wet the tent floor and one of the fans placed at the bottom now to lift its mist upwards seems to do the trick. Humidity increases while temperature drops, getting the plants into a better VPD level, so all I have to do is wait for the evil A to deliver the necessary Raspi components to have this automated, maybe still while this grow runs. At the end of this week, there was just a bit of height gain for the two smaller ladies who now approach their next 10 cm mark. Overall, I get the feeling it won’t be that long until harvest. Maybe with the taller ones a week earlier than the others. There’s really not that much bud growth anymore, rather refinements – like buds getting more nodes and color. I’ll investigate the trichomes every few days but would welcome your estimation.

Today marks two weeks since germination and also the start of my journey with APTUS and their premium line program. 😎 First time working with these products so I´m gonna take it slow... mixing Regulator & Startbooster with PH at 6 and temp at 20ºC. 😉 Lowered the lights by 10 cms and the average for the week was 23,5ªC (temp) and 70% (hum). 😊 The supplies have arrived and the upgrades already installed... 2x 200mm duct vents for the side walls air entrance and swapped the 150 combi ducting for a 125 PhonicTrap acoustic ducting, that was just laying around here from a previous giveaway and wanted to test it out. Required a plastic reducer and some duct tape but the job was done 😅 As bonus a little trick I developed about placing sticky cards outside the tent near the side vent as first barrier and a little video with all the ladies together 😍 Really stoked with this one! 😋

This week I transplanted directly into a 5 gallon pot. There were no signs of stress after transplanting. So far, it is looking short, stacked and healthy.

9/2 -Cream Cookies Trichomes at 90% Clear, 10% Cloudy, 0% Amber. Im a lover of a good heavy indica and usually allow the plant to mature until it reaches 0% Clear, 90% Cloudy, 10% Amber. -Cheese is towering some main cola sites with thick flower development. Going to develop into massive colas. (Cheese has historically taken 2 weeks longer than other plants to mature and is around 2 weeks behind cream cookies. There is still a possibility she explodes with flowering growth in the coming week.) -Lowering dose of nutrients to 12 mL/gal until harvest. 9/3 -Cream Cookies is beginning to change color and dump its fan leaves. Going to allow the plant to do its thing. Don't want to cut the leaves early as the plant is most likely using those fan leaves as a source for mobile nutrients for the rest of the plant. Going to let nature keep its "nutrient batteries" if you will. The plant built up its healthy leaves only to use them later when it doesn't need them anymore. I love nature and the cycle of plant life. Just mesmerizing. 9/4 -Rotated the plants so I could get a better vantage point for cheese and holy shit. Cheese has grown so thick that a major major defoliation was needed just to expose slightly under the canopy to some light. The plant is also growing absolutely huge colas. HUGE. like 8-10 inch colas with flowering buds thickly covering the stem. On these colas you can't even see stem. Im so excited what a pleasant surprise -Cream cookies is beginning to change colors indicating its entering the final stages of flower and is on par to be harvested right at the beginning of week 13. 9/6 -Rigorous defoliation done on both Cheese and Cream Cookies. -Beatiful aromas are dominating my dwelling. Gotta love the natural dankness smell. Ahh home sweet home. Anyway both plants are developing extremely well. -Cheese is towering and developing later kind of, weird growth pattern but if it produces dank thick colas ill be very happy. Cheese is definitely going to stay flowering longer than her sister cream cookies who I'm going to flush next week and harvest in 7 days! Very excited. -Cream Cookies buds are developing very nicely. Accidentaly forgot to raise the lamp 2 inches and as a result the plant got a little stressed and one of the buds got a little light burn on its baby fan leaves but no actual bud damage. Going to leave the leaves on until they begin to become an issue.
