In the second Week i started to give them a few nutrients. Maybe a bit too much, as you See in the last 2 Videos. Since its very cold (-5°C) in Germany i've put a heating cable losely around the pots to Heat Up the soil a bit.

They are in small felt pots for now, but I plan to transplant them in to big pots very soon. I want to try to avoid root bound plants... I've got some 30gal pots lined up.

I didn’t take pictures before defoliation but these pics are from after the fact So you can only imagine. So many bud sites she should be stacked!!! The game plan is to move her into a 5 gallon once I get a chance this week. Glacial, 2-8-4 and some kelp meal will be used.

Week 14 Day 92 (10/16) Checked her trichomes and she's just starting to show some amber. She may need watered tonight, probably will add in some Mammoth P and molasses too. Day 93 (10/17) I've been slacking on updates and pics, but there's just not too much to say or document. She's still doing her thing, really looking more frosty than the first partial harvest. Thinking I should have waited a bit longer for the first cut, but oh well, it still gets the job done. I have held off on watering as her pot is still pretty heavy. It was lighter this morning so maybe this afternoon I will water her. I'm keeping an eye on her trichomes as I want there to be more amber for the final harvest. Day 94 (10/18) Everything from the partial harvest has been dried and I finally weighed it all. Came out to around 48.5g (including the 4-5g we've been smoking on). There's still plenty more on her. Everything has been jarred up for a few days and I've got Boveda packs in the jars too. Day 98 (10/22) Checked the trichomes this morning and I think I might put her in the dark for 48 hours starting tomorrow night. She's turning into a fuggin 100 day auto. Day 99 (10/23) Well, I made the executive decision to prep her for harvest. When her lights went off last night, I unplugged it from the timer so she'll have her 48 hours of dark. I also added some ice cubes around her base. I've read about the dark helping and the ice simulating a frost, but I've never done this so we'll see. Shouldn't hurt right? So I'll be harvesting her Saturday night or Sunday. And hopefully popping another over the weekend 😃 Day 100 (10/24) Well she's been in the dark almost her 48 hours. I have family in town tonight, so she may have to wait until tomorrow to get cut. Or I might just stay up half the night and get her down tonight lol. We'll see. Day 101 (10/25) Technically week 15, but who's counting. Cut her down today. Got her cleaned up and into paper bags to dry. Will get a weight and post the harvest once she's dry. Getting another one ready to go 😉

The stretch is either over or just about. Baby buds just startin to show but already given off a nice odor😁. The amnesia haze will b the tallest plant once again. Will probably have the biggest buds also. That damn mutant ap is driven me crazy. Bring on the buds🔥🔥🔥

7/13 It's maine-ing out. Overcast and misting. I guess it rained last night but not much. Today is my watering day although I think they could've made it until tomorrow. These drastic temp changes makes it hard to get a STEADY routine in place. I watered everything in the 20's a gallon the 10's 1/2 gallon. The 10th planet in the front was still heavy so I didn't water it. I'll keep an eye on it. Temps are much milder. I noticed a few more septoria leaves on the 10th planet which I promptly defoliated. This pheno is flowering. I could've put this week as flowering as several plants have started. I also saw ONE leaf on my chem dog that had septoria on it. ONE f-ing leaf! I was planning on treating this early anyway so I mixed one gallon of plant doctor 3 tsp gallon/gallon which was the recommendation. I'll monitor this plant and continue treating it the next two weeks. I may do foliar too but the mixture is different. It's a systemic so I don't think that matters as much. Considering getting mulch to protect from spores on the soil. My plants look GORGEOUS. I Hate to use such a nice plant as a guennie pig but I'm not going to sit here and watch it progress. I'm lucky it's really not that bad and that it's on a reveg. There's so many leaves that I would be forced to prune anyway. I'm seeing two MAYBE three leaves a morning but I want to get this under control. Last year u let a plant with septoria go and it finished but went to extracts. I've got a pretty good feeling about this plant doctor. I've used it before with good results. Only time will tell though.🤞

They've been having a bit of trouble with calcium deficiency due to me overwatering them and not giving them CalMag every feed but have learnt my lesson for next time and will be getting the bare minimum nutrients from a recommended supplier. Been feeding them half nutrients one feed and pHd water with CalMag the other, and that's taking a day break between watering. Think they've only got this week left now then I'll start flushing with water I think, the one in the corner may need another week or 2 but at least it'll have loads of space to finish up when they're out of there 🙂 Was gonna start flushing this week but they just look so poorly so gonna have 1 more week with nutes every day cause I think they're thirsty bitches which has slowed them down possibly, full nutes, no nutes doesn't seem to be doing me any favours so I'll start flush the 2 that I think are ready next week and the last one a week after 😊😓 Have ordered a microscope to check the trichomes, no idea what to look for but I'm sure I'll see something.. feeding them everyday again as it's been another hot week should've just stuck with a daily feed probably. Will upload some trichome pics soon hopefully 😊

Well that was a special day, it always make me sad in a way, but this time, I enjoyed the moment a lot. As I wrote in a reply to a comment, things can always be better, and they are with good decisions at the right time. These are the smallest and the biggesr plant, one seed didn't germenated and that's why I had to put a Red Gorilla. Not sure I will try a main mlinning on auto flowering strains any more.... but I think I did it wrong, first I took the one that seemed less strong for the experiment, and having 2 other plants to compete for lights. FIM is definetly a technique I will reuse if needed. It's so nice to have these genetic contrasts, colors, aromas, shapes. Many thanks for all the help you gave, precious. 19/04/2024 lower popcorn buds seems dried already! But still branches don't crack on bends. Will check again on Monday. I finally have received, lately a portable microscope, will be more ususeful next year! But this confirms that lower buds might have need more maturity but did the choice to not over complicate by harvesting in 2 times, my indoor tent is also my drying tent, and I wouldn't have any other place to dry the upper buds separetly while allowing the remaining to harvvest with more maturity. In general I think I might have began the Final part too early. BTW, we smoked the popcorn bud, and it's very promissing, we liked it.

Found some leaves showing defiencies, but not a big problem so far. It looks like Mag. defiency. Ph outcome was 6.2 so the ph lockout is not what the problem was. Will see next week if more yellowing will come or not. Plants dont look like there is some serious problem with growing, so all cool.

Hello GD Crew!!! I’m glad to finally be back with a new diary. A LOT has happened since my last diary. The large room I was using back then got infested with spider mites. For a while I thought I had them beat, but they came back with a vengeance. So I thoroughly cleaned my 2x4 tent and set it up in the opposite side of the house. However, that part of the house is also now my new man cave and was under construction until a few months ago (its still not completely done yet, but close enough). I have also switched back to LED lighting. I’m using a pair of Spider Farmer SF1000’s (100w) LED’s. I was using a 315w CMH fixture but felt I was getting better results with my old blurple ViparSpectra’s (both of which have died). Also, it was getting too hot in the tent with the CMH. To be completely honest the best weed I’ve ever grown was using a 1000w HPS, but that could possible melt a 2x4 tent and I’d be tripping circuit breakers all the time again. After a lot of research it looked like the Spider Farmer SF1000’s were the best bang for the buck in the LED market these days. They have the right components (Samsung LM301B diodes and MeanWell drivers) and have great specs. I was able to purchase them on Amazon Prime Day for $129/each (USD). For soil I’m using Coast of Main Stonington Blend Grower’s Mix. I had been previously trying to amend and reuse old soil or mix old soil 50/50 with new soil and in retrospect that was a mistake. The PH was totally unpredictable as were what nutrients were available or deficient. I felt like I was always trying to fix soil problems and one thing would lead to another. So, from now on its fresh soil in every pot. I’m using 3 gallon pots with self watering reservoirs at the bottom. In addition to the Coast of Main Stonington Blend I’m also using Sungro Black Gold Seedling Mix. I filled the 3 gallon pots with the Coast of Main Stonington Blend first, then dig out a hole in the middle about the size of a grapefruit and filled that hole with the Sungro Black Gold Seedling Mix. Then I planted the seeds about knuckle deep in the middle of the Seedling Mix. This seemed to work great, both pots had small seedlings appear in 5 days. This diary will focus primarily on FastBuds BlackBerry, but I am also growing a DinaFem Critical+ Auto at the same time. I’ve grown both of these strains a few times in the past with mixed results. But, I’m hoping this grow will be far greater than those in the past. My plan is to allow the Coast of Main Stonington Blend act as the ‘super soil’ it is supposed to be and not add any additional nutrients. I will however be adding RealGrowers Recharge on a regular basis (I love that stuff, it really makes a difference) and will probably also add some CalMag once in a while. But that’s all. Additionally, I do not plan on doing much training with these girls. I will LST bend them over at a 45 degree angle around the time they hit their flowering stretch, but that’s all. Bending at a 45 degree angle gives better exposure to lower branches and allows those lower branches to produce larger tops. Hoping for the best!!! Please feel free to comment and follow. I'm still feeding at full strength, they are just swelling now with cloudy trichomes so I'll hatchet over the next week at some point. The two phenos look very different to each other but have similar smells. In very happy with both plants, I can't wait to test them.

Day 71 Flower (Day 113) Today was the first day of week 11 of flower and another uneventful day. I took a couple of pics and gave the right girl 2.5 liters of pH 6.3 water. That was it. Day 72 Flower (Day 114) Yet another exciting day - open the tent, look at the trichomes, snap a pic, close the tent, repeat. The left girl is fading, but her trichomes are all cloudy. On the other hand, the right girl is hardly fading at all but shows some amber here and there. Day 73 Flower (Day 115) Today, all I did was to give each girl 2.5 liters of pH 6.3 water. Done Day 74 Flower (Day 116) Didn't do fuckall today. I'm so ready to harvest these girls. Already a solid month of overtime. I will cut in a few days I think. Amber trichomes be damned. 11 weeks of flower is enough! Day 75 Flower (Day 117) I gave the left girl 2.5 liters of pH 6.5 water today and checked the trichomes on both girls (again). That was it. Day 76 Flower (Day 118) Woohoo! I'm finally starting to see some amber trichomes here and there. The end is near! Day 77 Flower (Day 119) Today was the last day of week 11 of flower, and the grow is drawing to an end. I had a closer look at the trichomes, and they are showing enough amber to satisfy me. I think I will chop tomorrow on day 120. It's been a fun grow, and I have learned a bunch, but after over a month of overtime, I'm also ready to close down shop and have a bit of break.
