Unfortunately I spotted one bud with bud rot on my gelato plant. I flushed it on day 91 of cycle, day 54 of flowering. Today is day 94 and it seems it has not spread out to any other buds(happy days) .. I am watching it closely everyday and also to see how the trichomes are going.. breeder says 65-70 flowering days to be ready.. let’s see.. if I spot another bud rot I will probably harvest it.. I hope that will not happen.. let’s go

2nd Week of Flower! I think? Looking back on my calendar and pics on my phone that we’re never uploaded, my guess is, we are on second week. These pics and video are from August 11th, day 75 post germ. It’s also very possible the two big gurls began flowering at different ends of the week. The nutrients used this week were applied once during day 76. In addition with a thick top dressing comprised of the following: [insert composition here] [Mushroom Compost as base media, dolomite lime, gypsum, muriate of potash, triple super phosphate, kelp meal, bone meal, seabird guano, Texas Greensand, black soldier fly insect frass, Earthworm Castings!, neem cake, bat guano] Stuff like the triple super phosphate and muriate of potash were used in very small amounts. But I used them to increase the density of available phosphates and more importantly for the available potash. Keeping it small because I know the microbes don’t like stuff at those density levels. Will be compensating with a little extra molasses. The weather has improved to sunny most the day with afternoon clouds breaking the hotter section, opening back up for a bright evening and sunset. The average high has been 86F during the day, while dropping to 54F during the night. The coming week is forecasted an average refreshing high of only 78F with nights not much cooler, still averaging at 54F! The increase in afternoon moisture levels is playing a huge role in this grow. Helping to maintain a better VPD for these Ladies while shortening the range of temperature flux from day and night. Última semana y esta planta ya se ve que dió todo de si. De estatura baja y estructura ratificada, con flores densas y con un color hermoso y profundo. Se ha cubierto de tricomas blanquecinos y ámbar que desprenden un olor a fruta ácida y dulce como las fresas y un frescor muy característico. Ya en dos días se viene el corte así que les estaré informando. Buenos humos! 👽

Today they got a flawless finish for the second time since the last update, the weather should be like this until the end of the month, without rain, that's what I hope for, so we'll see... all in all, the girls are close, it's time to finish this season, I hope for good weather for at least another 10 days and then I can finish this seasom😁

Really loved this. Nothing more to say for now lol, it's been my first grow and grew her with 2 wild dwarfs and loved both, would grow them again. Really excited to try it out.

It was finally time to harvest her, what good times we had with her. Amazed with how beautiful this plant is, how easy to manage and train and how rewarding Orange Hill Special is. So we said our thanks and goodbye, thanked her for all the joy she gave while growing her. I realize more and more how I love growing them even more than the end-product. It takes my mind of all going on for a while, in my miniature jungle world in the attic. Im sure all of you just sometimes sit there and watch them, in wonder, dreaming away with a good buzz on, watching them wave in the wind of the fans. So with a heavy hart I apologize, play them their last music, sit with them and feel them and smell them, watch the glistening of the cristals. In the end we had 209 gram dried Orange Hill Special, I will know the total of the grow, in a few days, since the final big whopper still has to dry: my XtraKush, be sure to check the harvest of that one *in couple of days) and see a one-dollar seed outperform two 10 dollar seeds. Fifth week of flower and it was time to defoliate the indoor units as they were starting to get bushy and block exposure to the lower bud sites. Quick work with the bonsai shears and they were ready to soak in the sun. I left the rooftop plants alone as I believe having additional leaf mass enables them to withstand temp and environmental fluctuations better. Whether or not this is the case, it was an experiment.
