Welcome to week 5! Things are progressing along as some plants have started to display sex. I've removed some of the males that have shown themselves so far as we aren't looking to breed this run. Going to let them veg for this week and then I will be flipping the lights to get the flowering cycle started. Huge shout outs go to @MarsHydroLED for allowing me to grow with their kick ass gear! When will this end? lol Pretty cold week, temp dropped to 12°c @ night So the top 2 huge colas are like 30% amber The middle big buds are like 10% amber and the small lowest buds are like 80% cloudy with no amber I think tomorrow(friday 10/02 first day of week 16) will harvest i dunno i think there's no benefits of letting her live more, i know its not 100% perfect but i think the combination of the very ambery top colas with the middle ones cloudy will balance the unconsistent ambers on each buds.

Hi all I hope you had a wonderful Christmas 👍 So I got curious a few days ago and decided to have a fiddle with one of the buds from the Girl scout cookies plant. I let it dry in a paper bag first and then had a sqizz at it. After I tore it apart I was pleased to find a nice fat healthy seed (see 1st pic) well after that I thought to myself Bloody hell mate there must be a heap more of those fellas in there then, so with that in mind I harvested the whole plant. After that lot was dried I tore into it looking for more seeds (see video) but unfortunately I only ended up with the three viable seeds the others I found were either green or already damaged. Not to worry as atleast I have those three to attempt germination with which is better than a poke in the eye with a burnt stick as my old man likes to say. Ive partaken in a few bonghits as I write this of the Girl scout cookies bud that I harvested and I can tell you its some nice shit man 😁 The Gelato Plant will be harvested tomorrow and Im hoping that may have some seed aswell. The whole purpose of this experiment was to cross the Barneys Farm Red Diesel Feminised Pollen I created with a good tasty strain in an attempt in creating seed. So as far as that part goes & even tho I only got the three seeds I feel it was mostly a Success. I will definatey need to refine both my Pollen collecting and Pollinating techniques to achieve better results. Thankyou to all who followed along I enjoyed doing this diary. This week has been a recovery week. Cleaned the roots in alien root rot x..turned lights down to 4x250w chiller still struggling..waiting for new big one..roots still look a little brown but nute solution is brown. New roots coming out of baskets nice and white and thick. Plenty of new growth. Keep topping and have added lst to try and combat stretch and allow light in. When running advanced ph perfect at half strength ph is too high at full strength ph drops back into the 5s. Ec at 2.8 but no sign of nute burn yet anyway..

Плохо переносит большие обьемы еды Эта девочка продолжает почти и очень кустится ! Получает 900 ппм и 6 пш. 30.07.23 -срезал пару больших листьев и освободил пространство для новых побегов и лучшей аэрации . Стресса девочка не испытала 31.07.23-росте очень быстро , акукуратно снимаю большое листья 🍁 Выгладит здорово (только очень кустистый )

Great week as the SCRoG is completely filling out. Bud sites visible in every square. Hoping I have set the structure and shape correctly for a more even grow.

Soaked in a glass of water for 16 hours before moving on to the paper towel for a couple of days until the roots were to my liking and than I planted them in peat pellets.

Auto Northern Dragon Fuel is growing good. She was just lollipopped today. I also selectively defoliated her canopy. She was very bushy and dense with leaves. She is developing well, and should start bulking soon. Nothing more to report at the moment. Day 14 Veg: A great start to the week once they settled into their new pots. hopefully i havent stunted their progress. The mutant Banana Mash is now trying to normalise a little more with new growth. Still fairly twisted but on the mend. The other 3 are more typical of new plants with their growth . I have topped one and fimmed another with one being left natural at this point. They are on their 5th node mainly ( except mutant!) and I am hoping to open their frames right up to get light to all new growth equally. I don't think they will grow too tall by design and I don't want to limit their growth in any way so i will gently manage them as they grow. The Purple Monkey are doing brilliantly so far with plenty of vigorous growth among them. I am holding the 5th nodes down on two of them and have fimmed one. These are in bigger 60L pots so should use the space to its best I think. I also have 2 plants that came from the recent harvest. One of the ladies must have had a pollen sack hid away that managed to seed a few of the exotic girls amd visited some possible viable hybrids. 2 of these are now in the grow alongside. I will be watching them like a hawk and any sign of a testicle will result in a slaughtering of the LGBGTQ sympathiser instantly . lol We do male or female only unlike the human race !!. heehee ( bit of a political hot potato!). I gave them an actual megacrop feed today to boost the available elements for the speedy growth coming. The L.o.s is still active and providing enough nutrition but I am trying to avoid the drop once the stretch period gets busy and saps the available food from it. This seems to have been happening most crops since beginning using it to avoid the leaves losing their solent green colour too fast like starvation can cause. I also added a touch of calmag to counter the L.e.d leeching that often occurs in flowering. So there we have it Growmies. A good week with the beginning of l.s.t and some promising growth. Another issue that I have managed to resolve is the R.h. We are getting warm dry air now so the room is getting silly hot and very dry at around 40% . This is great for the flowering times but has been an issue for veg in the past. not wanting to invest in a humidifier that is costly and expensive to run , I had resulted to using towels in buckets to attempt to raise it this does work in a totally sealed tent , in my leaky d.i.y "tailored " one , this has been hard to maintain. The solution came in the form of a vicks vaporiser that I bought from fleabay. It works perfectly to bring up the rh to around 70% on its lowest setting. The tank is enough to hold a days supply of water and shuts off with the lights. simple but effective fix to a common problem we face indoors. Be safe and well. Until next time.
