Day 47 ( day 10 flowering) Holy moly these ladies are a fast strain. They are well ahead in terms of flowering development with all three of them showing their black and white buds off so well. They are very aesthetically worthy of growing out so fat and I cannot wait to see the finished girls. #1 is by far the biggest overall as it the case with all the LOS pots. The soil is 100% and I dont see me changing this medium for the forseeable future. Her growth has been steady to this point and is clearly focused on her buds now. she is nicely spread out in her pot with lots of space below for air movement. #2 is still looking slightly pale and my decision to not top or train her could have paid off as she is keeping good pace with her LOS sister for canopy height at least. the paling is getting less now and she has some great looking branching and budding happening. #3 Is the little girl of this family and is building buds all over her frame now. she has been trained a little but it has kept her very low and stout. Overall they are blowing me away bit the ecothrive is a clear leader for me here.

So close to harvest. This week and last I reduced the amount of TPS1 in the feed from 15ml /gal to 10ml/g. Early in the week, Apollo's lower leaves started showing the fade using up the nutrients. Thursday, I did a preliminary trim to remove any fan leaves and feeder leaves with longer stems. just handling the stems and buds my hands, nails and arms were sticky. After the trim, I put Apollo's Friends back in the tent with her. When the plants were in different veg/flower cycles, I separated them into tents. GDP and zkittles grew with in 2-3 inches on the light. I could not raise the lights anymore. Today, 11/19 is day Apollo's 69 day and 41 in flower. The harvest window per RQS is 70-75 days from seed. Tuesday will be the harvest day. After watering only 2 liters with Vit B, Recharge and Signal yesterday, I put her in the 3#x3tent in the dark. Apollo's buds are thick, dense, stinky citrus floral and sticky. The sugar leaves are showing color change as she knows her life is ending in glory. I am so proud of this grow. I didn't overfeed so I have experienced the color fade to yellow as foods are used up and the delicate colors emerge in the sugar leaves. I am very impressed with Royal Queen Seeds F1 genetics. So much so I bought Milky Way F1 and Medusa F1. I will definitely have another Apollo grow in January. Thank you @James at RQS. Apollo F1 had a huge base stem and was multi branching-even the side stems had side stems. The stems were sturdy. No support is needed for her branches She stayed short at 26 inches tall. I definitely pushed her on the watering. When I saw no runoff after 2.5 liters of water, I upped to 3 ltr. Then 3.5, then 1 gallon. I watered 2 liters, let the water absorb, then slowly add another 2 liters. There was a small amount of run off at the time of watering but was all gone by the next day. It could have been evaporation, but I really think it was consumption. Consumption is an indicator of yield. As densely bushy as she is, I'm estimating at least 90 grams. So for future grows, especially for very bushy plants, I will defoliate at least 2x during early and midflower to open up the canopy and let the plants bulk up more. She did show some nutrient (cal-mag) deficiency and for the next Apollo grow, I will push the feed a bit. I'm excited and a bit sad to see this grow come to an end at the same time. Northern Lights is really starting to take off. She's growing so fast, and her leaves are finally getting that deep, dark green color I love. I can almost imagine her soaking up all that beautiful sunlight. I think I'll need to repot her soon, this pot's looking a little cramped. I can't wait to see how big she gets by the end of the summer!

Week 5 flower going well. Nothing much to report. Increased the drip as she is taking in more water. Turned up the fans to 100% for maximum flow, and due to that, the tent got a bit warmer and a bit dryer, so the exhaust fan and humidifier are working a bit harder. 75-77 deg F, 50-60% RH. Not sure if the lights are to intense or if it’s purple coming through, but at the highest tops there seems to be a bit of discolouration on the newest growth, just at the tips of the new buds. But I’m looking really close and it may be purple, not brown. I’ll keep an eye on it and turn the lights down if symptoms worsen. This plant is growing strong and uniform. Average frost so far. Beautiful pheno of Ak420 by seedstockers same smell as her sister, the other 2 plants of this same ak420 package, let's see how this wonderful lady keeps developing, I think I could have train this lady just like this but I should have gave her a few more weeks of growth before changing the light cycle.

I used the glass of water technique, soaked it for 18 hours then transferred it to moist paper towel (paper towel method) put it on a plate and placed it on a dark and warm area and spray water once the paper towel goes dry. 2-3 days until the seed crack and reveals its tail then i planted it on my medium.
