Week 4 update - had to list it as a flower week as we flipped em half way through. Exotic wasn’t lying - the spicy bitches hit maturity rather quickly and we now have a guaranteed 2 males and 3 females - perfect ratio score👌👍. Balls started showing in a span of 12-36 hours. One of the females entered flower early so she may be a dud, an auto or just stressed for some unusual reason. We’ll probably either separate er or let it grow with the rest and pitch it. Won’t be using that seed knowing that underlying issue. Similarly, one of the males has also demonstrated some fan leaf mutation - I actually like this kind of variation and it makes things interesting so bonus there👍. The rest of em are doing just fine. So god damned nice to have a run that’s on a quick schedule to finish within 3 months. It’s been a long year for the pollen chuck and we’re really looking forward to the upcoming all fem. Run. For now though - conditions look ripe for a bunch of awesome crosses, any one of which could be pure 🔥. Till next week yall🤟. The whole point of the last year was to start making some foundational genetics for a third generational cross we could call our own. If you’ve been following along than you’ll know that it’s been anything but easy. Our previous pollen picks didn’t pan out at all so we’re back to the drawing board with a new option from ExoticSeeds. This’ll be a 10 plant run with 5 regs and 6 strains for pollination including the strain itself. We’re running in a 2x4 MarsHydro grow tent all powered by a Mars Sp6500. That’s a little more than 600w packed into half the recommended footprint😳. Why? you ask - because we like our buds big and overcompensatory😂. Really, I’m just of the mind that we can pack more light into this space than recommended and get much better results. The math doesn’t lie. At least not as long as I wasn’t high when using the calculator again….. Many thanks to @MarsHydroLED for the opportunity to test run the equipment👊. In addition, we’ve also moved to a new nutrient system - Druid Nutrients out of the Netherlands. They don’t really have a presence on GD yet but you’ll be hearing about them very soon I’m sure. The beauty of this system is that it’s literally a 1 (one) component system for the entirety of the plants grow cycle. It really has changed the game in terms of ease of feeding and maintenance. It’s also very versatile and seems to provide everything needed across multiple different strains in the same ratios. Keep your eyes peeled for these folks. Pretty much a guarantee that they absolutely blow up once more people know about them👍👌😎. Strain Background Spicy Bitch: predominantly sativa, heavy yielder with a daytime kinda trip profile. It’s a cross of Queen Mother and a Pre-2000 AK47. We’ll pull what pollen we can and hope to have a female run out a larger supply of seed for the future. A fellow growmie was kind enough to ship over some S1 genetics I took an interest in. The only ask back was that if I did cross it to send a few his way for testing👍. It’s a compact and squat plant requiring very little maintenance. Typical for the strain really. It’s been chosen as an option to potentially mellow out the high , shorten the stature of the resulting hybrid and inject it with some of that mellow indica effect. Boogie Nights - total shot in the dark. Still haven’t even tried the strain myself yet but it was available at the right time and interesting enough to make a salad with. Big thanks to AMS who’ve been nothing short of an excellent seedbank to collaborate with. Expect similar growth characteristics to that of the Northern Lights. Better resilience however. Blueberry - this particular clone is from extremely strong stock. Spliff seeds broke the mold with this strain. She’s lower maintenance than the NL, more resilient than anything else we’ve got on the menu and the terp. Profile on this girl is out of this world. If we can bring any of these qualities to the cross, then it could be magic👌. White Widow - garrghh, I just can’t get away from this particular plant. Again, still haven’t even tested the buds yet and all I can say is that the growth characteristics are extremely vigorous and desirable. This plant is one of 3 unicorns that I have yet to tame due to a combo of extremely bad luck and circumstance. All told, it’s still the same story: a VERY experimental breeding project designed to shotgun a broad swath of genetics against a reliable and dependable Breeder who’s put out proven fire 🔥🤟😎👍.

Week 9 9 weeks of Vegging, this is where if you work as a Master Grower in a big scale Grow-Op, the boss starts to ask if they’re ready for the flowering rooms... They need one more week Sir ! I have defoliate and lollipopped the plants. Taking off the 4 highest fan leaves and trimming the legs of the lowest shoots. Starting by the fan leaves at beginning of the week and trimming the shoots a few days after at the end of week. Normally, if it has been done right, during the next week the plants should start to spread, growing like little bushes. I will keep on spreading them, to give them all the space they need to grow, but just close enough to make them feel the competition with the others. Next week will be the last week of Vegging, if everything goes well they should reach the right level, just before switching and should have enough space left for the stretch and the Flowering cycle without finishing into the lights. Hi everyone 🤗. On 07/23/20 the time intervals of the lights were changed to 12/12 h :-). Now you have some time left to grow in the network that has been installed. This time I deliberately gave less vegi phase because they grew a lot after the time change in the last run 😅. You will still get Canna Aqua Vega A + B until the correct flower production begins, after which a complete water change will be made (as every 14-18 days). From then on she gets Canna Aqua Flores A + B and Canna Boost 😃. I am very excited to see how the gelato from Zamnesia to Aero develops, because I have always grown this genetic on Soil :-). Otherwise, they look beautiful, and all parameters except the water temperature are in the optimal range. Since the grow cooler for the 0.8 system is unfortunately too big and I don't see any problems with the 23-24 degrees water temperatures, I won't need a water cooler for the time being. Die Wuchsform ist kräftig und Energie geladen. So I’ve pretty much done everything that I said I wasn’t going to do. Started the week out with a light defoliation and mid week I started the LST which she responded very well too. Twice a day I’m checking the pH and adjusting the straps. I’m now at full strength with her nutes and she has yet to show any deficiencies. Lastly she has shown some flowering signs 🙌🏼 this next month should be fun.

Hallo liebe Community, jetzt habe ich mit dem Training der Ice Cream Haze begonnen und nach meinen Beobachtungen verträgt die Pflanze dass bis jetzt sehr Gut. 💚 Nach dem Topping und ein paar Tagen Wachstum konnte ich die Seitentriebe mit ein paar Bodennägeln nun runter"binden"stecken um ihr mehr Wachstumsfläche für die Interniodentriebe zu geben. Diese Technik erinnert mich prinzipiell an die SCROG Methode, wobei hier ja direkt am Topf gearbeitet wird. Zum Düngen kam nun der Greenhouse Feeeding Dünger: Biogrow zum Einsatz mit 3g pro Liter Substrat. Da es 9 Liter Töpfe sind also insgesamt 27g. Das Material wird einfach in die Oberfläche eingearbeitet und dann mit dem Bioenhancer 1g pro Liter Gießwasser gegossen. Die Seiten/Interniodentriebe weisen ein gutes Wachstum auf, wobei es einen kleinen Längeunterschied gibt. Die Wachstumsbedingungen im Growschrank sind optimal: ——————— 🌞 Temp: 26°C 🌚 Temp: 20 °C 💨 RH: 66% VPD: 0,77 kPa ——————— Stay Tuned!💚🌱🍨🐰
