Both plants are showing severe calmag problems, damn it's too late to do anything at all when you see it to this extent. (Day 50) calmag problems are getting worse. Watered 1.5l ph 6.5 (Day 51) Watered with nutrients. I measured the light intensity again today with a diffuser.all popcorn buds were separated (Day 53)

These three girls got transplanted today into their five gallon fabric pots. They were looking hungry so decided to do it early. I normally wait till 3.5 to 4 weeks. They were added to my custom mix of coco with perlite and added amendments, worm castings, and purple cow soil. Watered first with dechlorinated tap water and next with added mycos and cal mag.

Defoliation is a critical part of the flowering stage, and I typically wait until Day 21. However, this week, I tackled it earlier on Day 17 because: 1️⃣ The room was simply too full. 2️⃣ And most importantly—the Papaya Zoap had other plans! She’s a fighter—determined, defiant, and constantly reaching for the moon. Despite intense training like super cropping, she’s still pushing upward, nearly outpacing the LED lights. Challenges like this remind us of a simple truth: gardening mirrors life. It’s about resilience, adaptation, and unwavering determination. 💪 This week, I added a second SCROG layer. While this net will support the flowering colas, it’s also there to strategically manage the Papaya Zoap. Why? Because experience has taught me that if she grows out of the LED’s range, she won’t finish properly—and that could disrupt the balance for every other plant in the tent. It’s all about teamwork, even in the garden. 🌟 Defoliation was intense, removing nearly all the leaves with stems to clear space and boost airflow. The tent now looks dramatically different! Hey now, I hope everyone is having a great weekend. The Strawberry Banana is doing well, I am just doing some LST every couple of days, and she is just starting to stretch. She is still feeding on silica, cal mag, and maxi grow veg nutes by GHE. She seem to be loving this Medic Grow Spectrum X, which I am now running at 70% and also running the UV/IR bars for 1 hour before lights off. I also did a light defoliation this week to allow some airflow and her to focus more energy on the upper branches. I will continue to with LST and veg nutrients until the vertical growth stops, then I will transition her to flower nutrients, and change her lighting to the red spectrum. This plant is great it survived my ph wars when ph pen broke and moving rooms and humidity temp swings. Resilient and beautiful sativa looking buds I really like it
