They had 48 hrs of darkness, and the time has come to say goodbye to my friends. I thanked them again, spend some time with them, and under the sound of Amazonian shaman's harvest and healing songs (will post link), asked for their gifts, and apologized for taking their lives. I do this while in contact with the plants, touching, smelling them, observing every detail, no thoughts, just in the present moment. I feel emotional as I do this and remember how they were a companion, a source of distraction in a time of worry, sadness, and loss. How they already comforted me and kept me company in a time of painful insights about honesty, commitment, and staying true to myself. I thank them again for their wisdom and gifts, viva Santa Maria, viva Planta Maestra, may the mother of all beings give us healing and protection. And I proceed with the harvest as I visualize my intentions with every cut. Branch by bud laden branch is tenderly untangled from the scrog net, taken with a clean-cut and immediately hung upside down in the grow tent, which will now double as a curing and drying room. A couple more weeks and we will have the final cured and dried weight. More photos and movies will follow, this is where we are so far!! Big hug, lots of love and take care! ***UPDATE*** The final weigh-in is ready. I hadn't seen them in a week, because of my vacation. The humidifier I set up, had failed. So the grow had dried in 7 days, what I wanted to be 14 at least. Thankfully, its Sativa ancestry shines through, the smoke isn't harsh, the buds a sticky and smelly, no hay smell at all. We ended up at 246 grams, excluding a shitload of larf and popcorn bud, totaling at 310 grams all in, a first at a gram per watt for me, but for the Zambeza seed competition, I stated we would only weigh the quality bud. Overall I'm very happy!! Guessed weights in the competition: - @hashy : 0 grams - @MrHyde : 198 grams - @JamMAKEcan : 224 grams - @TrickOrTrip : 260 grams - @Greeneysgrow: 312.5 grams - @Ohey_fu_kyu: 350 grams - @Puffs4Pipes: 385 grams - @Hempkid : 605 grams - @DoDrugs420 : 621 grams TrickorTrip was closest!! Summary: Cost of setup: 850 euro Cost of nutrients and soil: 125 euro Cost of seeds: None they were cloned Cost of power: 150 euros in the power bill Total cost: 1125,-- for setup and this run. I smoke for medical reasons and it's used for ritual and healing purposes, never to be sold, as it loses its magical properties. Should I have to buy Gelato of this quality at the dispensary that I frequent, it would cost me at least € 15,-- per gram. 246 x 15 = 3690 euros. also, 49 car rides of 25 miles there and back, 250 euros in gas saved. Pretty easy so far haven't feed any nutrients just plain water and great white mycorrhizae mixed with molasses. Gonna be moving them by next week to my tent and start training and topping them by the fifth node so soon 😁.

The plant realizes there is an overabundance of light and it seems to understand this and develops accordingly. I see a mass monster. Focused on rates of photosynthesis, instead of photomorphogenesis. Added a custom Lakhovsky ring around the base. It is positioned in such a way that it rotates on itself, as in the photo, and an energy field will develop all around. If we have only 1 ring, the opening goes true north and the 2 wires must not touch. With 2 rings of different diameters, I can alternate North / South openings. (4x10" Copper wire wrapped in aluminum sheathing then further coil wrapped with copper)

Rough start to this blackberry but she's getting there.

The journey continues, nothing much has changed. The Chem Beyond Diesel is taco-ing hard, probably due to the light being close, but since the NYC and BJ are the same height and are not taco-ing, this one might also just be a little more sensitive (?). The BJ and NYC are fox-tailing quite a bit, so the plants could also just be showing different reactions to the same stress? Either way, there isn't much I can do at this point. The humidity is a bit high and I have defoliated some more to help bring it down. I might have to consider some other options, too. I switched from Hesi Root Complex to Canna Rhizotonic now (because my bottle was empty and I wanted to try something new), and also added some D-Block to my reservoir to help prevent clogging. The plants are supposed to be 8-9 weekers, but they look more like at least 11 right now. I guess we will see.

Now Growing in Tent 😂

She stretched out a little bit in week five so I upgraded the grow-light to a Mars Hydro TS600. Using 0-10-10 Alaska Morebloom for and Light 5-1-1 fish emulsion.

Pics are labeled at the beginning and end of week 7. The flowers are maturing. About 50% pistils are amber. I’m still having some lite green color in 1of 6 plants. Seems to be correcting now with nitrogen. 1 of 6 plants was a free seed. I lost track of which one but I think it’s easier to pick out now. Pic labeled with the one I believe is a different strain. It looks like a later maturing strain and heavier flowers. The smell is very very strong even with a new carbon filter inside the tent and one outside it in the room.

*** 17.10.2017.*** Today i decided to start week 4, one day away from the actual begining of the next week... She showed few calyxes that are shooting white hairs so i guess her flowering window just started so i gave her a good solution of flowering nutes, boosters and sugar. I am so thankful that my effort is paying off, 7 days development on this automatica strain is the best progress i have seen so far in my short but rich growing experience. She responded very good to all my moves, i decided to show you all what a proper LsT can do to your shape and groeth, and supercropping aswell.. The fishbone look is something that really caught my attention and will be perfected in my next grows. Lost medipak#2. Just suddenly kicked the bucket. Oh well. Such is life! It might have been a fungus issue...The other 2 medipak are cruising. The 4 indigo childs are looking really nice. Very excited to see what they look like in 3 weeks

Day 28 veg: Hi all , I hope your gardens are green and your stash jars are full ?. With the 4 weeks passed and what looks like a possible flowering start to the ladies with a few white hairs on the bracts and within the tip growth. The odd burns on the leaf are not from a feeding error but from the mist over spray of my d.i.y fungus gnat killer. A steeped tobacco , washing up liquid and bicar of soda. It works on contact mainly but doesn't bother the top soil at all. The flies are crazy now from the coco use ( 1 drawback of it but worth it still). It is a little "hot" and has caused the yellowing burn. I have now got some store bought product that has donenthe job instantly and will hopefully hot the emerging young adults over the coming week. It is a powder with multi use called Agrothrin. works on many garden pests and problems insects. Six-shooter is still a lighter shade than her stable mates but just think this is genetic as they are all feeding well so far. she jas a sativa kind of look too her so far and with the inset of flowering starting , I think she could stretch into the space nicely. Strawberry Pie is also beginning to show signs of flower too. She had her 5th nodes tied up to help the lower 3 (node 1 removed with coty earlier)to develop to the same height I am hoping I timed it right with the autos. The 5th is now over at a 45 degree angle so should hopefully stay put a little longer as the others start their stretch period. She is a wider looking strain like the Mexican , ,so a nice mix this run The Mexican is doing well now and i released her 5th node too sonlets see how she reacts Onward to the flowering cycle next. be safe growmies

Bruce Banned #3 fast grew well under the Hortibloom Solux 350. I thought I had messed her up,but she did a lot of filling in at the end. Strong aroma and nice resin. I am looking forward to the smoke report for her.
